there's a cashier at the supermarket near ilya's house in boston that knows about him and hollander because he only comes in to buy ginger ale when boston is playing montreal.

In leaving Ilya's Boston house, Shane is in such a hurry that he forgets to change back into his white t-shirt, and just keeps Ilya's black one on.

When Ilya finally manages to get up from the couch and go to his room, he finds the white t-shirt laying on the ground, near the foot of his bed. He vividly remembers peeling it off Shane earlier that day. He picks it up and holds it close. He's completely devastated by the sudden realisation that that t-shirt is the only thing he'll have left of Shane.

In my own perspective, Frankenstein is about being a girl. It's about being a bigger girl who gets out out everyday into a world where she does not FIT in (both metaphorically and literally).

It's about fighting everyday for a place in this world which should've been hers from the start. It's about wondering what was she made for if everything she does is met with stares and dismissal.

It's about wondering why was she given this life if there is no one like her to share it with, no other monster. So she's forced to live her life from a distance, hidden, prude, as one little misstep could erode years and years of progress in being accepted.

One move too daring and everything could be ruined.

It's about feeling, experiencing emotions but not being able to express them properly because she's never been on the receiving end.

In another universe, Victor Frankenstein never manage to actually give life to the Creature, it was instead Dream of the Endless who intervened bc he just wanted to watch the world burn.

Or maybe he lost a bet to Destruction.

And it will be Dream the one to create a companion for him during his redemption arc
