Mia's vacation at L'hotel de Chat has come to an end. She went home last night and it is quiet here. A nap is next on my agenda, then maybe a stroll, then dinner and a nap. Being the resort cat has its privileges! Purr

Am I cute or what! Ok enough groupies. I must bathe and then get my beauty sleep. I am told my human will return to me in four meals time. I must save my strength for a proper homecoming!

My sister, Lily, naps a lot. Really, a lot. I prefer to find the fun in every day, and as such, will pounce on anything that moves. So invigorating!

I have found my all time favorite play thing! I love to throw it in the air, pounce on it, and love it forever. Just one thing though, I put it somewhere to keep it safe, and now I can't find it! Life throws you curves sometimes. Murr

This evening, the management put this black box near my bed. Yesterday it was white! I was telling them it was past time for happy hour and where was my vittles, when a commotion occurred! It was slightly unnerving.Even my sister run away! Well, come to find out, the awful noisy box spit out some of my fav crunchy morsels. : ) I will concur my fear and partake of this evenings dinner offerings.

It is a slow morning here in the lounge. Not a lot of goings on, so I took my leave and grabbed the best seat in the house, the captains chair, and settled in for my siesta. Murr-nificant!

There are moments in the day when the world tv comes alive with exciting things. Today I watched the flying creatures I call “murr-ds”. They flit about and do that pokey thing into the ground. Sometimes they get something in their mouth space. I like food in my mouth space, so maybe that is a thing.

I found a new exercise class today! The red dot has nothing on the fuzzy yellow orbs. They are fun to grab, and shred, and claw. I found them to provide a wonderful workout and they made me purrfectly happy! I cannot wait until tomorrow to see what other activities this resort has. 😺

Today I discovered the library. How cool is that! My human would love to sit and read with me, exploring other eras, but I am told she is walking routes others have taken for centuries. (Whatever that means) Not sure about the limited genre selection, but maybe more interesting choices are kept elsewhere. I will keep looking!
