🥚 PAGING THE MEGUCA FANDOM OF TUMBLR 🥚

I'm a part of a BEEEEG orchestral cover medley of select songs from Puella Magi Madoka Magica! After working on this with a bunch of other musicians for almost 9 months, we are finally ready to release this project to the world. It's just over 21 minutes of music! 🙀

Come watch the premiere on Saturday, October 5th at 6pm (PDT)/9pm (EDT)! We're also having an after party following the premiere!

I'm also gonna hold a totsumachi/call-in stream before the premiere, but it's entirely for myself and unofficial LMAO

The VTuber Symphony Orchestra is a group of VTuber musicians that I've had the pleasure of recording covers with for the past year. After starting in 2023, we've grown to having about 20 members to 45 members! We even have some indie Japanese VTubers joining us this year!

Please spread the word! We're but a small group but have big ambitions and a lot of passion for music, even beyond the spoken language barrier!

Haven't been posting here in a hot minute, and I realize that. I'm definitely found more elsewhere, but I've also been trying to find my ground in certain aspects of my life, hence the silence in certain areas (especially true for art).

While Tumblr allows making more than one blog with the sub-blog feature, I think I'll be making a separate account just for VTuber stuff. This is a sub-blog to my art account, which has also beem dormant, and thus has some features limited. Not that it matters too much, but in some ways I would like to have the two separated so I can make the most of my experience.

Also I changed some settings so maybe this post won't necessarily go into the void. idk

Some recent VTuber Symphony stuff I'm in!

Hey all, been a bit. Here's a big update on what I've been up to.

Two new VTSO covers I played tuba in have been revealed recently, and they happen to both be VGM! First was a special arrangement of Dragonsong from FFXIV for Obake PAM's Dawntrail launch concert last week.

The Dragonsong cover was premiered during this concert stream below. It will receive a proper music video eventually, and I'll link it as soon as it exists publicly! For now you can find the performance at timestamp 4:20:17 (timing was coincidental LOL)

This weekend at 12pm ET/3pm PT, you can hear me on kobu's cover of Down by the River! The link for it is below. PrincessSkyler did the icon representing me in this MV!

I'm really excited for these releases! In case you missed it, I also played in a cover of Lacrimosa on envatilea's channel back in April! I don't think I ever posted about that so here it is now.

Hey everyone! I've been touching a lot of grass lately but now I think I'm ready to open up shop again soon. I consider VTubing (and content creation in general) a hobby to me so I'm fine with taking these long breaks. I appreciate everyone's patience. Stay tuned for news about my return! :3 (tbh I'll most likely post updates first on Tweeter and Bsky first before remembering I have this blog...)
