— Alone || Jonghwan & Seolhyun
he was interesting. someone that made a habit out of helping others. that was definitely a unique sort of habit to have. she had no interest in it, of course. if people weren’t going to help her out, why should she do it for them? so many had turned their backs on her that now she didn’t really give a shit what happened to others around. “i’d be careful if i were you” she warned him, stepping over a bit of rubble on the worn-down sidewalk. “there will be plenty of people that would jump at the opportunity to take advantage of you.” she spoke from experience, which explained the bitter tone in her voice.
a taxi cab came into view. seolhyun threw out her hand, trying to signal it, but it stopped just before their spot on the side of the road and picked up someone else. she cursed. “typical” she grumbled, despite the fact that the other people were ahead of the road. she was so used to missing taxi’s, she just assumed they knew who she was. it was like it was going to her head, that everyone was after her. she needed to just relax.
He took her words into thought, her tone was definitly of somebody who had gone through quite a bad time, he somehow found himself why would people be rather harsh to others, making them lose hope in society like she seemed to have lost, in a way. However he had been through quite a bit of a share himself. He'd always help people when they were in need yet, he always kept his distance, in order to keep himself from being taken advantage of. With a slight nod he ended up mumbling "I'm always careful."
He noticed the slight grumble as the taxi picked up somebody else and he tried not to chuckle as he wanted to. Losing taxis when needed, or even buses, had become quite his area of expertise, he knew exactly how she could be feeling. "It seems like they do on purpose, taxis, always picking somebody else," he smiled trying to lighten up the mood. "Or simply passing by, ignoring you. It must be their code or something."
