the hallways are quiet, too quiet beyond belief. it isn’t usually this quiet, where was anyone at this time around of day? so, her sleeping schedule had been a tad bit messed up—cross that out, been more than just “messed up”. she was insomniac, overthinking about possibilities and mulling over muses that shouldn’t even be brought up about. that was katarina, an overthinker about the smallest possibilities, making fake scenarios in her mind. she’s slightly scared but wouldn’t admit to it.
she wouldn’t admit to being scared. katarina doesn’t admit to how she really feels.
“is anyone there..?” it couldn’t only be her at this time around. she know if she was out too long in the castle too late, not having a single clue of what time it was in the middle of the morning, not when the sun was out but the moon taking its phase. it was dangerous at this time around for a petite girl like her.

Though it should have worried him, the fact that he hadn't been bother by anyone in the past few days had settled an odd calm over the junior. Being able to walk through the halls and get to his classes without having to change his clothes or end up with a limp was a lovely change. But in hindsight, he should have known something was wrong. It was most likely the drama, or lack of therefore, with Sebastian clouding up his mind that in turn made him overlook the sly smiles and snorts that had been directed towards him for the past week.
After removing his makeup and manoeuvring himself out of his uncomfortable tight costume, Kurt hugged a few of his cast mates and told them he was turning in for the night. Making his way out the back door, he pulled his thin sweater closer to his body as the chilled autumn air nipped at his skin. It had begun getting colder earlier into the night and he hadn't thought to bring a coat. Wrapping his arms around himself, Kurt calculated the time it would take him to get back to his dorm and setting his mind to making it without freezing his ass off. Two minutes into his walk Kurt heard the shuffle of boots on concrete. Turning his head and seeing nothing, he sighed and kept his head down, focusing on keeping as much body heat as he could. The shuffle came again a few seconds later, harder this time, and closer. Spinning around, Kurt caught a shadow but nothing else. With his heart pounding and breath catching in his throat, Kurt made to turn around and run before an arm came around and wrapped itself around his neck.
His breath was cut off and he couldn't scream but he tried his best to fight against the strong body behind him. Suddenly two more hooded figures appeared in front of him with their arms raised. "Ple-" it was the only sound Kurt could get out before the first punch was landed; right against his nose, accompanied by a sickening crack. Two more bunched against his jaw and cheek were thrown before the arm cutting off his air released him and he dropped onto his hand and knees, gasping. He made an attempt to stand up but a boot pressed into his lower back and he was forced to collapse onto the cold concrete. Tears had begun blurring Kurt's vision as he realized there was no getting out of this.
"Why are you d-doing this." he stuttered, trying to lift himself up on shaking arms before he was knocked down again, this time with a hard kick to his right elbow. A dark chuckle came from above him and a foot cam down and kicked him on the side of his stomach. "Because you need to be put in your place, fag." the comment came along with more kicks, continuing to get harder as Kurt cried out and his body began shaking with sobs. "P-please. I'll -st- OP!" he practically screamed as one of the men brought his boot down on four fingers, breaking at least one. Kurt didn't know how long it had lasted until he finally blacked out once his head hit the ground too hard. As his vision faded, he looked up towards the blurry figures and tried to fight back one last time "I'm not sorry, for who I a-am..." that landed him anothr blow to the head and everything disappeared.
