Josh looked over at the girl as he was taken away from his girlfriend but was happy to be sweeped away by his best friend. He had missed hanging out with her, it had been a while they had seen each other and he hated it. Hearing her speak, he felt a little nervous but he wasn’t going to bother worrying right now. As she ran a hand through her hair for a moment, “Need to talk about what? Should I be worried? Well thank you Lou, you look very beautiful tonight.” He stated smiling looking over at her before moving her away to a more quieter area. 

Louise wasn’t sure if she should just come out and say it or she should just wait it out but she was nervous and there was no time then the present. This could and probably would ruin her friendship. She stood there looking at him for a moment, “I don’t really know if you should feel worried or not. I just I am nervous. Thank you, I tried.” She smiled looking over at him as they moved to a quieter place, “Well here’s the thing, I had my chance with you ages ago and I blew it and only now am I realisign what an idiot I was because I have feelings for you Josh....” She said as she looked down for a moment.

Josh had been through a rough patch earlier on in the year through witnessing his best friend go through a miscarriage and then he went through feelings for her and he was then friendzoned so he had to move on from her to keep their friendship strong and going and he didn’t want to lose his best friend. He then got back with his ex and first love that he knew was the right decision, she meant the world to him that getting back with her made him really happy. 

He knew it was the winter ball and usually he missed out on this things but McKenna really wanted to go, so he made sure he dressed up for it and looked good as he wanted the girl to be happy and enjoy the night. The were at the dance and they had a few laughs and he was happy, he was finally happy, he had been ignoring the feeling he had for Louise because he knew it wouldn’t help. As he was dancing, he saw her come up to him and he smiled hearing his words and he smiled as he nodded to McKenna who walked off with Lily. He smiled, “Hey Lou. Of course, what’s up? Are you okay?”

Louise felt really nervous around Josh, he was always the person she could go to and she knew she shouldn’t be trying to ruin his relationship, but her feelings were all over the place and she knew how she felt about Josh and the amount of times he had been clear to her about how he felt and she just ignored it, she felt pretty guilty for the fact that now she could admit to it. He heard his words and she bit his lip for a moment and nodded, “Well I just really need to talk to you about something and I don’t now how to do it. I am good, you look very smart tonight.”

Louise had a;ways had a complicated relationship with Josh, after dating his brother, finding out that Josh had feelings for her and then friend-zoning him to then not talk until he finally got back with his ex. Louise thought she was fine with it but months had past and her mind and brain had realized what and who she wanted but he was with someone else. Trying to date Josh wasn’t going to work now was it? She was hoping it would but likely hood it wouldn’t. 

It was the winter ball and she was going alone for the first time and although she could deal with it, she knew she needed to say something so she was thinking in her head what to say. As she made it there she saw Josh standing at the side with Mckenna and sighed before reaching for a drink and taking a sip of it and then made her way to Josh, since they were still best friends she knew she could go up to him and it wouldn’t be wrong. “Hey Joshy.” She smiled as she laughed a little, “Can we talk for a moment.”
