2. Using your research you need to explore and experiment with a wide range of different graphic media, concentrating particularly on the effects of combining such media. You need to gain an understanding of how these media can be used and implemented.

If you have research how to do certain technique from You Tube or books then document this on your blog for You tube and google doc for books.

You need to document your own experiments and exploration of techniques and processes,that you have discovered within Task 1. Document these processes within photo diaries next to the studies you have created, explaining the techniques and processes used.

Analysing results and critically evaluating aesthetic and technical qualities.

These studies can be a combination of traditional wet media and digital, however all art work used must be of your own making, no internet images.

Investigate what Frankenstein means to you and start to develop ideas.

Get into groups and discuss what you could uses as your Frankenstein

Create mind map within sketchbook of what your Frankenstein is and how you can visually communicate this.

Task one Investigate a minimum of 4 mix media practitioners of your choice to gain an understanding of how others use mixed media within their work and discuss the following

What combined media/material were used?

What outcome did it take? For example magazine, poster, CD

What do you think are the strength and weakness of their work?
