↳ Before the rise of the Order…

Unlike many witches, Jessica was well aware of what she was from a very young age. When she was three years old, she had a temper tantrum, causing the whole town to go through four elemental changes within twenty-four hours until Jessica’s parents could calm her down and understand the extent of their daughters powers. Since then, Jessica has experimented with the four different elements: earth, wind, fire, water, and has found ways to incorporate them into her spells that she has always done in secret, knowing that her parents would not approve and that the risk of exposure was too high.

Unfortunately, one night, one of her spells backfired, causing a massive forest fire in the woods that were in her backyard. It was then that her parents thought it would be best for their daughter and themselves to remove themselves from the town of Falls Church, and move two towns over. Jessica was under the impression it was because she was a witch, and they were moving to a town where witches were known to be around - at least, that’s what her parents told her. In reality, they were going into hiding for almost over a decade.

↳ Now…

Jessica heard about the Order in her old hometown, and it didn’t take much prying around and sneaking around the town to understand that she wasn’t alone. One thing attracted her the most to come back to town - not the thought of other witches like her, but instead, it was two people. The knowledge of doppelgängers in Falls Church is the reason Jessica showed her face once again. She does not trust anyone who is a doppelgänger, but knows she would benefit from having both Katherine Pierce and Elena Gilbert on her side when it comes down to fighting against the Patrons and Loyalists.

She knows she must be careful as the Order is now in place, and the risk of her exposure could be fatal if her temper gets out of hand. As Jessica learns more about the Order and digs around for information, she learns that her parents had become new-born Loyalists. Loyalists who were living a lie with their own supernatural daughter - a rule she was sure went against the Order her parents followed right down to a t. It took her years to find out, and now she has left them behind. However, just because she left them behind did not mean she stopped looking more into the Order and its Loyalists, Patrons, and Rogues, learning more and more each time. She wants to find a way to end this without shedding massive amounts of blood, and will continue to find a way until her last dying breath.

Unknowingly born Andrea Labonair, Hayley was adopted by her human parents and did not know that she had inherited the werewolf gene until it was triggered. She triggered the gene when she was with friends on a boat trip and had been drinking. Drunk, Hayley accidentally killed a stranger and thus triggered the wolf. On the night of the full moon, she was at home with her parents, with no knowledge of what was about to happen to her. Hayley, fully transformed, destroyed her parents’ living room and they kicked her out of home as a result. 

Hayley learned to become independent and knew how to protect herself from a young age; forced to learn control on her own, still without any idea of what she was. She spent some time with various wolf packs over time, but felt uncomfortable and too vulnerable staying in once place for too long. She met Tyler Lockwood running with a pack, the first time she had ever heard of hybrid. With Tyler’s cooperation, Hayley helped him to break the sire bond to Klaus but did not see Tyler again until she tracked him down in Mystic Falls. She stayed in Mystic Falls for a short time, helping other hybrids break free from their sire bond, helping with Tyler’s plan to use them to kill Klaus, but this plan does not eventuate. 

↳ Now…

With nothing left for her in Mystic Falls and a personal quest to find her real family, Hayley left for New Orleans. But the trip didn’t last long. She got a call from Tyler, something about Patrons and an Order and to get back to Virginia, but not Mystic Falls. A different type of Falls this time, Falls Church. While stubborn, Hayley appreciated staying alive and so she followed her friend’s advice, finding herself in Falls Church a short time later.

↳ Before the rise of the Order…

Born in southern Georgia, Jacob was a blessed little boy. Her father raised her with the solid notion that she was a miracle child, as she was the only child between her parents after years of trying. However, Jacob himself never quite felt that way. His mother died soon after he was born, all signs pointing to his birth as the cause of his mother’s death. It was never proven though, further planting the seed of doubt into his mind. As far as he was concerned, he was a curse, not a miracle. He never got a chance to have a mother and clung to his father to try and make up for it. Their bond was unbreakable.

It wasn’t until after his father’s second marriage that Jacob developed the quiet personality that he has now. Before, when it was just him and her father, at least he could be happy. It was when his stepmother came around, demanding things from her father that he couldn’t provide, that Jacob felt the need to recoil back into introversion.

At first, Jacob was almost grateful for the marriage, assuming that he had a second chance at having a mother. His stepmother though, made it very clear that she was not in the marriage to be a mother. His new mother wanted the financial security that Jacob’s father could bring her. In turn, her father worked himself to his breaking point to please his new bride. Jacob was forced to watch as his father exhausted himself, with no way to get him to stop.

↳ Now…

As an unfortunate side effect of his father’s need to accommodate for the requirements of his new marriage, Jacob’s needs were pushed to the backburner. This didn’t go unnoticed by her new mother, who seemed to take some sick pleasure in Jacob’s neglect. It might’ve been warranted for Jacob to be upset or to complain, but he found it best to stay silent and try to put up with it as best he could. There were many things that he could fight, but his own stepmother was not one of them.

Having Jacob isolated in his own home didn’t seem to be enough for his stepmother, who’d made it her goal to both work Jacob’s father to death and send Jacob away. It was the reason that Jacob was sent to Falls Church in the first place, alone in a town full of dangerous creatures that he’s never encountered before.

There were many things that he could fight, but his own stepmother was not one of them.

Having Jacob isolated in his own home didn’t seem to be enough for his stepmother, who’d made it her goal to both work Jacob’s father to death and send Jacob away. It was the reason that Jacob was sent to Falls Church in the first place, alone in a town full of dangerous creatures that he’s never encountered before.

↳ Before the rise of the Order…

In the 10th century, Kol, along with the rest of the Mikaelsons were human until their parents casted an immortality spell to protect them of werewolves that murdered the youngest brother, Henrik. To become immortal, the Mikaelson children drank the blood of Tatia in mix with wine and were later murdered by their father, Mikael, being forced to drink human blood thus creating the original vampires. 

During his first century as a vampire, Kol was a lone vampire who travelled  through Europe, enjoying the blood of the europeans and spreading the fear of his nature. For centuries up until the 18th, he continued to explore and wreaked havoc, including spending some times with witches, until he was daggered for just under 200 years before being released. In the 20th century, Kol was daggered once more, in which he spent another 100 years inside a coffin, but this time betrayed by his own brother, Niklaus for reasons that were unknown.

If it wasn’t for Elijah, Kol would have never come back and thus began his games. Whilst on the one hand, his relationships with his family were rather complicated, Kol would never turn his back on his family. Remaining in Mystic Falls, he stands by his siblings in the battle against the Elena Gilbert, the Salvtores and their little groupie. His main goal being to keep an eye out for Jeremy Gilbert. It wasn’t until Klaus was dessicated that Kol made a pact with his siblings to no longer cause any harm to the people of Mystic Falls. 

↳ Now…

Making a deal to leave those in Mystic Falls alone, it didn’t mean Kol couldn’t have fun outside the walls of the town. Continuing his menacing ways in other areas, Kol has caught the eye of the Order who are desperately seeking to find him and incarcerate him before he causes anymore danger. However, being one step ahead, Kol has managed to escape their clutches every time, occasionally killing a Patron or two and has found himself in Falls Church.

↳ Before the rise of the Order…

Like his nephew, Peter was a born werewolf of the Hale family. When the family’s house went up in flames, Peter was one of the two only known survivors, the other being his niece Cora. Despite being inside the house at the time, Peter lived but was left comatose with horrible burns and scars. Being a werewolf, he was able to heal from his wounds, albeit slowly, and during this time was able to trick the then current Alpha of the Hale pack, Laura, into returning to Beacon Hills so that he could murder her and take his position as Alpha in order to seek revenge against those who killed his family. Once he awakens as the Alpha, Peter bites Scott, making him a werewolf, but is only seen in his Alpha form. At the school dance Peter bites Lydia, waking her Banshee powers in the process, but is ultimately killed by Derek and buried underneath the ruined Hale house.

When Lydia’s powers started to appear, Peter appeared to her as a younger version of himself and was able to communicate with her this way as a result of the bite. He used her in order to resurrect himself but it took several weeks for him to recover fully, as the resurrection left him severely weakened.  Despite his usual nature, Peter sought to help with the issue of the Kanima, conspiring with Derek to kill Jackson, but also with the looming threat of the Alpha Pack. He was indifferent to whether or not Derek killed his pack, and seemed pleased that Derek decided to give up his Alpha spark in order to save Cora’s life, even after warning him that he may die in the process. Once the Alpha Pack was subdued and the Darach thought to be dealt with, Peter killed Jennifer at the Nemeton.

↳ Now…

With the knowledge that the remainder of his family and the rest of the werewolves of Beacon Hills had moved to a safer place, it seemed as though Peter had no choice. Ever the survivalist, he was always going to do what was in his best interests and if that was moving to Virginia with everyone else, then so be it. But there was no way that Peter was going to just lay low like Derek and he set in motion a plan to gain the power he knew he had always deserved— whether that be the power of an Alpha or an army, it didn’t matter.
