Itinerary

1. December, Friday

You arrive in Oslo, and we meet you at the exit

We check in together at the domestic terminal

17:10 - Departure for Tromsø

We pick up 2 cars at Tromsø airport and drive to our house. We do some grocery shopping on our way to the house.

Dinner - Taco!

2. December, Saturday

Early breakfast

Dog sledge - 

Going back to the house for dinner - fish ala Per&Tor

3. December, Sunday

Breakfast in the house before we drive out to the ocean.

We are going on a Whale safari with Tromsø Friluftssenter

Whale safari approx. 5 hrs Departure: 08.30, Scandic Ishavshotell (Adress: Fredrik Langnes gate 2)

Price: Adult 1.280,-  

Includes: Transport, Guide, coffe, tea, biscuit and fish soup in plastic cup (not a whole meal)

4. December, Monday

After breakfast we go to town for some sightseeing, shopping, galleries, cafés and whatever you may like.

Let’s return to the house and relax a little before we go to SKARVEN for dinner.   Skarven is famous for their fish dishes and in particular the dried and barbecued klipp-fisk (cod)

Unfortunately SKARVEN was fully booked. But there is another very nice place called EMMAS DRØMMEKJØKKEN where we have a reservation at 18:30

5. December, Tuesday

Breakfast and check-out of the house

Fly to Oslo where our cars await. We drive north towards the Olympic city of Lillehammer. Quick stop in Lillehammer for some grocery shopping before we head up to the mountains where Tors brother Amund has a beautiful cabin waiting for us.

6. December, Wednesday

Breakfast at the cabin while we enjoy the spectacular view from the breakfast table.

We go Lillehammer and up to Sjusjøen-mountain area for Husky-tour. 

Bakt laks med agurksalat, poteter og Sandefjordsmør.

7. December - Thursday

Breakfast at the cabin while we enjoy the spectacular view from the breakfast table again.

Sightseeing in Lillehammer and fun with the locals.

8. December - Friday

Our last breakfast at the cabin before we go to Oslo.

Sightseeing in Oslo and dinner

Speed train to the airport where you have booked your hotel

9. December - Saturday

You fly to Brussels

Hanoi

Torbjørn Færøyvik skriver i sin bok, "Buddahs barn" at: Hanoi er min asiatiske favorittby. Jeg tror det har med alle detaljene å gjøre. Øyet erobres av vinduer og skuddet, av balustrader og balkonger, av trange smug og hardt prøvet takstein, av bakhager og krukker sprengfulle av roser, og gulfargene er så mange at jeg trenger mer søvn enn vanlig: kremgul, okergul, sennepsgul, sinobergul, safrangul, ambergul, smørgul og solsikkegul, for ikke å snakke om skittengul.
