Spoilers for the ending of Apostles of Mercy because again, these books are the least subtle thing in existence so stuff like this really jumps out in contrast.

So I guess Cora is effectively dead as the person we've known over these past three books, which I don't mind because jfc, the girl was such an annoying whiny jelly-spine, but I really, really, really like how it's delivered, because you're gearing up for the finish and it's "wow, she's grown quite a lot, hasn't she, I now get what Sol meant about her finally seeming like an actual adult, heh, look, she's even sassing Paris about her silly little journalism, as if that could do anything, and she stopped investing all her emotional well-being into the newest orphan, phew, wonder where the desire to dominate Earth came from, that doesn't have much to do with what the story's been about, does it, and she doesn't even remember why she objected in the first place? eh, whatevs, wonder if the high-language experiments progress in the future books, she did note repeatedly how it was only Ampersand entering her consciousness, never the other way arounOMFG HE ATE HER MIND 🤯"

Paris Wells, a new POV character from Apostles of Mercy.

She develops a very interesting relationship with new alien characters and is an excellent counterweight for Cora's narration. As a former professional charge of Kaveh, she can make everyone question their beliefs - even half a thousand year old aliens.

Silly question, but how does one go about getting an ARC of Apostles of Mercy?

I got mine because I'm working with Lindsay on some promotional material. We are still discussing the details, but it will hopefully come through.

It would really help if everyone hyped up this book on social media. Fanart, fanfiction, recs, etc. so the publisher will pick up the remaining two books.

Apostles of Mercy ARC

So through unforeseen sequence of events I received advance reading copy straight from Lindsay. I got a permission to talk about it on social media, but I'm still not sure what I should tell or not. My thoughts are still scattered, but they are positive. This is certainly a fitting next chapter that expands on the ideas from the pervious books in a satisfyingly way.

What a ride!

They really do become the Joker.

I read some of the reviews that pose this books as a conclusion of the series. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE! AoM ends with a very exciting hook that HAS to be explored. The next two books are still in plans so go and preorder Apostles of Mercy. You mother has to preorder it. Your dog has to preorder it.

(And my name is used in one of the newspaper snippets. I exist in Noumena universe. It's canon. It's official. I'm ecstatic.)
