Soooo I first wrote this comic back in 2020 about my experiences being a demisexual individual… but now I finally have good paper and a good printer so I’m self publishing it.

I don’t think there’s enough media that really hones in on the demisexual experience and distinguishes it from “being normal” (I got that a lot before I made this comic). It’s a unique experience I was excited to capture through the use of color here. You’ll see when you read it!

So… this is the second time I’ve taken sketch commissions at Zenkaikon? For everyone who ordered one from me, truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. I love being able to try and bring your characters, cosplays, or favorite fandom critters to life. It’s really my pride and joy.

Having a lot of fun thinking about my witch OC Cerridwyn, speaking of red- headed witches.

She’s based on the Welsh myth of Blodeuwedd, with very, very, very strong creative liberties. Cursed at age 14 by a cruel, children-eating witch, she was cursed to become an owl with every strong emotion. That, and she knows how everybody she meets dies upon first interacting with them. So her vision is often clouded with death and despair. Yet, she keeps her cheery demeanor, and is quite mischievous.

Her curse also gives her elongated life and the ability to summon a green magic that can carry objects, act as a weapon uniquely its own, or possess the bodies of others. This is convenient for evading witch hunters, or make fun spectacles during local festivals.

I’ve been humoring a corruption AU where she removes her eyes to no longer see the deaths of the people she meets… and she becomes a killer. Her magic grows incredibly strong, but it starts to rot her body and turn her into a permanent bird-human hybrid. Essentially she becomes a worse version of the evil witch that cursed her. Yikes.

Anyways I figured I’d put this here because I think she’s interesting! I intend to build out her lore more soon…

“I’m not a monster…”

Multiverse of Madness really did an excellent job of exploring how Wanda’s trauma and the collection of her grief overtime started to eat her alive, and make her vulnerable to the temptations of the Darkhold. It made me wonder if her other universes’ selves had nightmares about The Scarlet Witch, maybe even felt her grief like the denizens of Westview did under her possession. I wonder if her other selves would pity her, knowing how much she’s lost.
