Surgery. Psyched to finally be in recovery.
On Feb 9th I thought I had sprained my right ankle downhill skiing. Then after walking on it for 3 days was extremely surprised to find out it was fractured! Figured because I could walk on it with not that much pain I got away with a sprain… Nope!
Finally after 2 weeks of sitting around doing nothing and bummed to leave my internship in CT (which I had only just started on Feb 1st). I had surgery yesterday the 26th. Even though I’m still super bummed about needing surgery and not being able to weight bear or drive for the next 6 weeks. I’m just excited to have gotten it over with and be on the road to recovery so I can hopefully climb again by may!
If anyone has experience with ankle injuries and climbing I would love to chat with you!
