Better now than never, to make a directory for my furby tags!
Hey! I’m planning on making my furb, Mayhem, a leather jacket inspired by Possum’s Jean jacket. Would you mind if I used safety pins in the same way?
im inactive on tumblr now, so sorry for the late response, but i can give a brief tutorial on how i made possum's jacket!
disclaimer: a leather jacket may be difficult, since i used the end of a sleeve from a denim jacket. im not sure how to make a jacket from scratch. however, i know you can find short zippers in stores like Michael's, as well as leather scraps and leatherworking tools. leatherworking tools can be very pricey though, and take some getting used to.
i cut the sleeves off of a denim jacket (i wanted it to be a vest instead) and cut that piece to the length i wanted, sewed the bottom edge so it wouldn't fray, and just used a large safety pin to keep it on her, like you see in my icon. it's pretty simple but it does require you to cut up an actual jacket.
How did you do Possum's mow-hawk? It looks so good! Thanks!
im inactive on tumblr now, but i can give a brief tutorial on this!
i combed her hair upwards from the sides into a general mohawk shape with a fine-toothed comb, then squished/pinched it sideways with my fingers (and i think i used some hairspray for the pinching step?) until it retained the shape!
Here’s a post dedicated to the 2011 toy Wappy Dog! Made by Sega, Wappy is a robot dog friend that is played with via a DS game. You can play in home mode which allows the DS to communicate with Wappy, or in travel which allows you to see a virtual landscape and dog. You can play minigames, feed him, do tricks, and customize virtual Wappy!
He comes with stickers for customization, a bone-shaped stylus, and a game cartridge! Though he retailed for $49.99, nowadays he can be found for $10 or so on ebay and other sites. He makes a nice addition to my bot shelf!
beanie buddy Scorch! i got them after my old scorch had been missing for years and i got too sad and needed 2 get a new one. i found my original scorch, and theyre back home while im at college with my buddy scorch!
also they have a little rainbow nest right now

Furby Hood Tutorial
Couple notes: This tutorial is just for the hood part of a jacket! The jacket I made using this tutorial by @furbmiester9000, which is adaptable for all furbys! Also, this tutorial is not for a plain hoodie. This if for a collared jacket that has a hood attached to it.
The only major change I made to the jacket was adding a spot for a tail, which ended up coming to about 2 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide, though you’ll want to cut your hole smaller than that for seam allowance. I also curved the bottoms of the ends(blue arrows) so that it fit better over my furbys feet.
To get started on the hood, measure the length of your jacket, then put it on your furby and measure how high you want the hood to go from the fold of the collar. If you want to be able to take the hood off and have it sit comfortably around your furbys neck then make the height half of the length (e.g. my jacket came to about 12.5 inches so the height would be 6.25 inches). Otherwise it’ll be kinda tight.
The hood is made up of two parts so halve your jacket length then draw out your hood shape on your fabric. I went with a square/rectangle shape with gave me a pointed looking hood. If you want a regular looking hood curve it. Look up different hood shapes and get creative!
Cut out two of those hood shapes, or four if you want your hood to have an inner lining. Remember to include seam allowance!
If you went with two pieces, sew the backside of the hood together.
If you went with four: Take two pieces, sew all but the backside together, then flip it inside out. Repeat with the other two pieces, then sew those two finished pieces together along the backside.
If you aren’t making an inner lining for your hood, then you want to clean up the edges by either folding them in or using bias tape. You only have to do this for the 2 edges that are going to be visible around your furby’s head and it’s up to you whether you want the fold on the outside or inside of the hood.
Next, mark the fold of the collar on your jacket. Then sew the bottom of the hood just below that line. Make sure you’re sewing the hood on the right way! The inside of the hood should be facing the same direction as the inside of the jacket.
Now you just have to sew the top of hood. Unless you went with a curved hood, in which case all you have to do now is make some ear holes!
For the ear holes, I just put the jacket on, found where the tips of the ears are, snipped a small hole, and then went from there. I recommend making very little cuts and checking after every cut that the fit is good. You don’t want your holes too big or in the wrong spots.
As for finishing the hems on the ear holes… I actually didn’t bother to finish mine lmao. If you’re worried about fraying or if you just want that professional finished look, you can fold them in and sew them up or you can use glue. It’s up to you!
And that’s it, your hood should be done! Hopefully this made enough sense and as always my ask box is open if you have any questions!
Aaaaa thank you for tagging me! This is super cool!
HAPPY HAPPY
a quick troubleshooting guide for aibo! it can be hard to figure out what’s going on with your dog, especially when you’re first starting out, so i made this infographic to put some general information in one place.
you don’t have to figure out your robot’s problems all by yourself - check out robotchat.github.io for a supportive community that can help you work out what’s happening and the next steps to take!
feel free to mirror on your aibo website or post in your own robot community, or print as a poster (DM me if you’d like the a4 resolution). just don’t scrub off my name and link back if possible!

The real cherry on this shit cake is that no one I’ve spoken to is getting any kind of email or notification that their posts have been flagged as explicit.
This means that come the 17th, you may just get banned at random for having posted Kingdom Hearts 3 Official Promotional Art (Rated E for Everyone), and have no idea why.
Because you thought your blog was SFW, and the ban-bot is losing its fucking mind, and no one told you that you’d been targetted.
So like, please. If you see someone has been flagged as NSFW incorrectly, let them know.
Because tumblr sure fucking won’t.
As far as I know they’re not banning people they’re just going to be deleting posts
“those who repeatedly and deliberately post new content that violates our updated guidelines may have their account deactivated”
Given that this system is already flagging basically anything on the entire fucking earth as porn, a LOT of people are going to be banned for “repeated infractions” whether or not those infractions were even real.
I might not post anything starting on the 17th. My instagram is featheryfurs_, so I might start posting furby stuff there since I havent posted anything there yet.
I really like your punk furby's jacket! How did you make it?
I answered this in my previous post, check it out there!
Hi! I was just curious how you made Possum's jacket? I love her style!
I used a denim jacket sleeve! I also hemmed the bottom edge, and made a cutout for her tail. I also made the pocket myself from a piece of scrap denim from the rest of the sleeve!
hey, do you have any other social medias that you post on?, i dont want to loose you in the purge
I don’t, but I’m about to back up my Furby blog, and my Discord is FeatheryFurs#0474 if anyone wants to add me. I’m also in the Furby Brotherhood and Furby Friends servers.
I had to delete a reblogged stimboard, and this post is flagged now too (covered it in green in case that avoids this post being flagged)
I just hope I don’t lose this blog... that would be super upsetting tbh
If I have to delete the post, I’ll probably try and repost it with a date in the caption.
also, did anybody know this? i had no idea
