i need to bring back around that fusion au (x) (x) i talked abt in early may..... like it was just a silly thing i conceptualized because i could do funny character things for it but i just had the most VIVID dream about what i could do for character designs for most of them last night and now its like. i have to do this, right

what if comet/star/firework themed leo and mikey fusion.... where its actually so unstable because they bring out the "worst" in each other, that being their more excitable, rebellious and aggressive traits (because their relationship varies between being super mutually supportive and competitive), and they can only stay fused for like ten minutes at MOST before it falls apart because it's just Too Much, not because of any interpersonal instability. he's also one of the strongest mystically and his powers are super unstable (itd be funny if he can fly/float waaay before mikey ever learns he can do that, and i actually think that partially is because of how mikey looks up to leo in a way... like he can do anything... it reflects in their fusion), so they really only do it when they absolutely have to (although i do think they plan to work on it eventually)

and it's like theyre hungover after LMAO. it's just such a rush

i also think mikey's fusions are gonna resemble him the most shape language-wise (his ones with leo and donnie, at least. im not sure what im doing with sunset duo yet) because he's the most mystically powerful and the most invested in fusion because it makes him feel closer to them. at first glance mikey fusions just look and act like whoever he's fused with is just bolstering mikey's strengths, and leo and mikey's is so unstable compared to mikey and donnie's because donnie can kind of disappear into that role and leo cant lol

gameoverse seems fun enough. but the cynical feminist in me can't help herself. all the male characters are like, cartoon blobs, which is contrasted strongly by the two major female characters in this pilot, both of whom are hour-glass shaped humanoid women who spend most of their screentime in swimsuits. and like that's not an outright dealbreaker but i *am* staring into the camera with my eyebrows raised.

idk i'm getting really tired of this "connecticut clark and malfina" type shit where male characters get to be Silly Abstract Little Guys but women have to be women shaped. it's this male-as-default thing that i hate where you don't need to add anything to a character design to imply male-ness but the woman better have wide hips and booba or else yknow like idk it's not outright Offensive but it is tiring

Yes, your friend will "change" if they come out as a system to you. They seem like they're changing because they're trying to unmask around you and let their alters be themselves and not hide amnesia and other aspects of the disorder as much.

I understand it can be hard to realize your friend isn't exactly how you thought they were, but they're still you're friend. It's likely you've met their other alters, they just didn't say who they were.
