Don't feel bad for putting everything else aside to sit in stillness with God. We can't let society tell us we're "not doing anything," when really, we're doing the most important thing. So much happens when we comune with the Spirit. So, so much. So comune with Him often, and let that magic happen ♡

Something we all need to remember to apply in our lives a little more... When you cut someone off that doesn't contribute positively to your life or serve your higher purpose/God-Self, it doesn't make you a bad person. Alert!! IT DOESN'T MAKE YOU A BAD PERSON! (Speaking it with force to and for myself:) It makes you smart for looking out for your spiritual welfare and happiness. Some people are sent into our lives by the wrong forces, and are designed to throw us off course. Learning to discern which people are meant to stay and which ones we're supposed to send on to the next is hugely important, and will help propel us in the right direction. And when the time comes to cut some chords, it is nothing to feel wrecked about. We're simply doing what's best for our souls, and likely, theirs, too. (Lessons must be learned.) So don't be scared to release and let go. Don't feel bad for cutting them loose. And do not let yourself serve someone and/or something that is not building you in a better direction! We all deserve an abundance in this life, so fight for yours, and I'll fight for mine! #dailyreminders #ADDadvice

Solid reminder! I praise God for delivering me some great sales days, too! (Selling for me right now = money to start my own company, go be the yoga teacher I am, and possibly live in Cape Town for Oct + travel Jan/Feb.) I was posting so much about perseverance, positivity, and the attitude of gratitude, bc it's easy for me to fall down the spiral trap of negative thinking and self-disrespect. I never acknowledge my accomplishments like I should, but instead see where and what moremoremore I could have donedonedonedo. So I spiral. I swirl. I fall down... down... down. So I post about the opposite, that which I want to manifest, and what happens? I blow my personal sales record out of the water the next day! Hallelujah! Today is my day off, and I am SO STOKED! Still made sure to get up and on my mat early - give God a chance to speak to e before the world wakes up. Twelve hour days at the fairs are killer after a while, and I'll be honest...I hit a breaking point yesterday...again. This job is teaching me so many lessons, and for all of them, I'm Grateful. But I am also REALLY grateful to have a day off! Yalla coast, here I come! ♡ #makeitcount #maximizelife

The power of water to cleanse the spirit and soul, is something everyone should know ♡

I've been focusing on the practice of perseverance for a while now... It's not an easy one, especially for someone like me who can easily decide she doesn't really care that much (as soon as things get hard). In my new job, I'm learning how to fight for success, never give up, and work hard as hades to make things happen. But everyday I flirt with the idea of quitting, and in many moments, I'm absolutely sure I will. Then I remind myself: think of something to be grateful for, look for what you can be positive about, and most importantly, PERSEVERE! God uses the hard times to press out the crap in us, so that beautiful, amazing, wonderfully refined good stuff can be expelled from our spirits. Like olive oil! (Thanks @stevenfurtick for the analogy!) So next time you're going through something hard, first of all remember: you're not alone! And next, remember God's got a plan for E V E R Y T H I N G in your life. He brings us things we think are bad, to make us stronger. He uses them to test and try our patience and faith, so He can bring us the big rewards later. And if you're soul has been offered up to Christ, then really, all we have to do is remember where we're headed! That always seems to take the pressure off and ease whatever I might be facing here on Earth. :) There's a blessing in everything, truly, so just find the nearest tree, say thanks for it, look up, take a deep breath, and know nothing lasts forever!
