A Note on "The Broken Skies"
It is with a heavy heart that I write this letter to inform you that I will no longer be continuing with The Broken Skies. After much deliberation, I have come to the difficult decision that I am unable to continue with this project at this time.
I want to thank each and every one of you for your support, comments, and engagement throughout the 23 wonderful chapters that we shared together. Your encouragement and feedback kept me motivated and inspired to continue writing. As a writer, it is these engagements that keep us going, and sometimes this fact is forgotten by the reader.
I want to take this opportunity to remind you all of the importance of reader engagement for writers. Fanfiction writers are not professional authors, but we still pour our hearts and souls into our work. We do it for the love of writing, and for the love of the story we are telling. However, it is the support of our readers that keeps us motivated and drives us to continue creating.
I understand that sometimes life can get in the way, and that as readers, it is easy to forget the the impact that our engagement has on writers for the hard work that goes into creating these stories. But I want to encourage you to continue engaging with writers whose work you enjoy. Leave comments, share your thoughts, and show your support. It can make all the difference in the world to a writer between feeling motivated to continue writing, or feeling discouraged and disheartened.
As for me, I regret that I am unable to continue with The Broken Skies indefinitely. I had many more chapters planned, and it pains me to let go of this project. However, I am only human, and my mental health and well-being must come first. I hope that one day I will be able to finish this story, but for now, I must say goodbye.
To my fellow writers, I want to urge you to never give up on your passion for writing Keep pushing forward, and keep creating And telling the stories that you love, beholden to the eyes of the public or close in the privacy of your own hearts and loved ones. I, myself, will never stop writing and hopefully someday, I will find the strength to share once more.
Thank you all again for your support and engagement throughout The Broken Skies. I will always cherish the memories we shared, and I hope to see you all again someday.
