James and Lily.

Fleamont, Euphemia and James Potter. Family Portrait.Â
đŹ You paid other students to do your work at Hogwarts
âReally? Have you met Remus? Granted, there were times where he did do some work for me, but most of it was him boring me to death on lectures. I wasnât the brightest student, but Iâm persistent. Money was never involved. Chocolate? Maybe. A sweet scratch behind his hairy ear? Possibly. But I did my best to do my own work.â
đŹ You got Lily to date you by putting her under a love spell .. and never took her off it
âThere are love potions, sweetheart, but not spells⌠that I know of anyway. Ainât good at potions â probably wouldâve turned her into a toad if I did try that. Iâm severely injured at the thought anyone would think this. Have you seen my face?â
đŹ One time Severus punched you and you cried
âCried from laughter, clearly. Poor little Sevvy would break his fragile hand against these jaws of steel.â
Send đŹ + a rumor and my muse will react to it.
âJâaurais dĂť ĂŞtre plus gentile â I should have been more kind. That is something a person will never regret. You will never say to yourself when you are old, Ah, I wish I was not good to that person. You will never think that.â
â Khaled Hosseini, And the Mountains Echoed (via wordsnquotes)
I will try to clean it and fix few problem ! : )

@snvfflesâ
Maybe it was selfish of him to have thought theyâd be around forever. They had been a constant presence in his life, as it should be, and now there was a likely chance that itâll never be that way again. James never really thought of it before â them leaving him, that is. They had done such a wonderful job ensuring that he was never heartbroken or wanting for a single thing. Imagining them being gone had never seemed like reality to him, and now... Now the world had gone to shite. Not yet, not completely, but it was on the precipice of change. It had been much easier to face knowing he had his parents and friends in his corner. Â
Once hidden in his room, James buried his face in his hands. He could hear Sirius shuffling about from outside, but he didnât really care to greet him in the manner he usually did. Death was not something James was comfortable with, and certainly not something he was familiar with. He didnât know how to deal with it. When Sirius entered the room, James looked up at him from his seat on the bed. âDragon Pox.â Itâs the only thing he can choke out from his constricted throat. It felt like he swallowed rocks. Eyes burning with tears, James began to rub at them furiously. âMy parents have survived my fatherâs atrocious jokes for all these years, but not this?â The laugh that spills from his throat sounds empty even to his ears. Â
lvpin-remvsâ:
âWouldnât have continued reading if it wasnât good, Prongs.â Remus said with a light chuckle, folding over the corner of the page before closing the book and placing it down in his lap. If it were anybody else, Remus likely would have given them a polite smile and went on with his book, but he knew James wouldnât allow that. Not that he minded, James was some of his favourite company, talking to him was easy.
He felt his head tilt slightly, âI donât think itâs possible to avoid the two of you.â Not that he certainly didnât try. Of course he loved his friends, and living with two of his best mates was the best thing that couldâve happened to him since they left Hogwarts, but sometimes they could be⌠a lot. He often found himself in his room with nothing but a cup of tea and a book, but more often than not one of the two of them would disturb him, begging him to go out and do something with them. Remus valued his alone time, much more than James and Sirius did, but he also valued his time with his friends. âYou think I ate anything you cooked? Iâm not stupid, James, I know not to trust anything you make. I gave mine to Sirius.â Remus leaned back in his seat, making himself slightly cozier by wrapping his cardigan even tighter. âWhereâve you been all morning? Out causing a ruckus, Iâm sure.â
âOh.â His brows knit together. Remus always had a way of seeing and saying everything in ways that made James realize just how ridiculous some of the things he said were. Did that stop him? No, of course not. âTouchĂŠ, my sweet hairy prince.â He winks and leans back heavily in the seat.Â
âIâm ashamed, Rem. I slaved over that stove for you, and you feed it to the mutt?â He playfully slaps a hand over his heart. In truth, James was trying to get better at cooking; now that they were out of Hogwarts and his mother wasnât around to do it, James knew it was a necessary skill. He didnât take it personally that Remus didnât eat it. He was more concerned about his friend eating more chocolate than eating the mess he made in the kitchen that morning. âWell,â he sighs deeply as though heâs about to divulge a great story, âSirius is off Merlin knows where. Lily is with Mary, though my lack of invitation is felt deeply. I did, however, manage to go off and find a quaint little gift shop.â He pushes his glasses up farther along his nose as he went diving into his pockets. Then, proudly, he pulls out the most hideous looking heart-shaped box with moving letters: âto Lily, love James.âÂ
âWonderful, isnât it?â
sevrustobiasâ:
Severus laughed - a cold, unnatural sound coming off of his lips and he shook his head. Typical. âItâs not worth it.â He said simply. It was true, after all. He knew he wouldnât change her mind, he didnât really want to try. She had made her choice long before the word had slipped from his lips and hurt her. He had been fighting a losing battle, and he didnât want to anymore. He was better than that. âPlease.â His voice was low, but full of venom as he spat the word at the other man. âPlease give me a reason to break every one of your damn fingers.â
He knows he shouldnât. While his ancestorâs ring was on Lilyâs finger, that didnât make her his. This wasnât his business, no matter how many years James spent taking all his frustrations out on Severus because of it. But to hear the bastard say that it wasnât worth it? He might as well say that she wasnât. It makes Jamesâ teeth grit together painfully. âThatâs a pot of shite, Snape, and you know it.â
âDonât worry, Sevvy. Iâll go. My time is better spent elsewhere. Just remember that you chose this.â
doevansâ:
âNoooo, I beg of you, spare us all.â groaned Lily in protest. At his kiss, the once pinky tinted slopes of her face flushed into a demure yet revealing shade of red. Marveling at him was at one point an entirely forbidden and frankly appalling concept, but over an extended period of time it transitioned naturally into her everyday, and unfortunately it caught her in her weakest moments. She hardly registered that sheâd been pulled into the immense gravity he held in his gaze without even trying. It could have worked as another irritant, she could have accused him of indirectly stunting her resistance to his cockiness, but she chose to return to gesture instead. Her hand reached up into his dark, thick curls and rustled them affectionately.
âYou wish, Potter,â she said despite her heart which drummed in an intense, nonsensical pattern against her chest, the electricity that tethered them still heavily charged and capable of sparking this utterly incomprehensible wonder. That they made it this far, that they were going to take it even further, and keep going until the end of time. âHmm, I suppose I could indulge you. If it keeps my face on. I quite like it the way it is unsnogged.â teased Lily, her demeanor softening because she understood his wanting to a gross extent. But it wouldnât be fun to admit that.
It was ridiculous how funny his heart began to beat after her hand reached up and tousled his disaster of dark locks. While she might have once thought the idea of them in this position as appalling ( ouch ), James would fantasy about silly moments like these during classes that didnât capture his attention quickly enough. The laugh that falls from his mouth mightâve sounded like a lovesick giggle if James didnât cover it up with a smothered clearing of the throat. Thank Merlin Sirius wasnât around to hear it.
âHm.â He doesnât respond right away. Heâs had had more than enough time to practice at reeling in his delight from her attention. Any time he took her small positive interactions to heart back in Hogwarts, James would pinch himself. Donât get ahead of yourself, twit. âSounds like a deal, Evans. Besides, I do like how lovely your face looks in the moon right now, wouldnât want to ruin that.â Things were changing. While he loved this moment and hoped for plenty more, the realistic side of his heart knew that no day is promised. Any moment that could linger was time well spent. Slipping his fingers through her own, James lifted their conjoined hands in the air and gave her a playful spin. âIâll have you know Iâm the best dancer in all of London, according to my mother. And Sirius. Count yourself lucky, dear.â
ludcvic-bvgmanâ:
Ludo smiled as he watched the young man practically pounce at the opportunity to race against him. It was always refreshing to see somebody so interested in flying and Quidditch. He couldnât help but to laugh at his confidence, he seemed to be much less sober than himself, Ludo felt as though there was no chance he could possibly lose. âAlright there, Mr. Potter, you seem sure of yourself. You must have experience on a broom, you sure youâre sober enough to control it, though?â He didnât really care, but figured it would be better to be on the safe side and check.
He hadnât had that much to drink. He doesnât think he had anyway. But James learned early on that any weakness the opponent thought that he saw was really an advantage on his part, so he had no desire to prove Ludo otherwise. âMr. Potter?â He thought he heard the last of that once he was done with school. âSober or not, Bagman, be ready to get a mighty view of my arse from that broom of yours.â The wink really cemented it all.
