Eastern Redbud tree blooms by Melnee Benfield
I know its taken me a while to get to this and I’m so sorry that it has. life has been super hectic lately. going over my previous post, it looks like we have maybe eight or nine people who would be willing to write for Feelstide. i don’t know if you guys think that’s enough. if you do, we’d have to do some really fast figuring out how to work it this year. i would want to give everyone plenty of time to write. so please circulate this far and wide if you want Feelstide to run this year. and hit up the askbox if you’re definitely willing so i know exactly how much interest we have.
the sooner we know where we stand, the sooner we might be able to get things going.
Hello! Also still interesting to participate feelstide! hopefully there will be people will join too!! <3
my last post generated a little bit of interest (as is obvious by your message!) and i’ve seen three or four people say they’d be willing to participate.
to be honest, it is getting late in the year. we have no prompts put together. i like to give people a few weeks to add prompts to the list. then a few weeks to choose a prompt or two. and then at least a month to write. that makes the schedule kind of cramped. based on the previous two runs, we could likely reveal all of the fics submitted (if we did it again) on Christmas Day. which would give people a little bit of time. i just hate rushing things.
if we’re going to do this, we need to do it soon. so i really, really need an accurate count of how many people would be willing to write (anyone can submit a prompt) before we put together any list of prompts.
so please. if you’re interested in writing for a run of Feelstide, reblog this post with a comment or a tag to let me know you want to do Feelstide. if i get enough interest, we can very possibly pull something together kind of quickly.
Hey there! Do you think there’s a chance that Feelstide could get brought back this year? I know there wasn’t much interest last year in bringing this challenge back but I’ve always loved it and I know that a few other challenges that overlapped with this one wont be happening this year, so maybe more people would be free and able to participate?
To be perfectly honest, nonny, you’re the first person who has expressed any interest in Feelstide in more than a year. I really hadn’t given any thought to running it this year because of this.
Still, if enough interest can be generated, it is possible that we could run Feelstide again. We’ll just have to see what happens.
thank you for sharing the list of prompts!! I really hope you do check back on interest next year, I couldn’t participate this year but I’m hopeful about getting involved next time if it works out!! I hope you have a happy December & New Year <3
You are most welcome, nonny! And thank you for the lovely words. I hope your December is cozy and amazing and that the New Year brings wondeful things.
It's sad that this lovely festival won't be around anymore, but I've really enjoyed rereading the stories. I wonder if you would be willing (if you still have them) to share a list of the prompt ideas from the last years! I need a little inspiration.
It is sad, but this has been a tough year for me personally and without any real interest, I couldn’t honestly see trying to run it this year. It is possible that we could revisit the question of interest next fall and see if anyone is willing to give it a go. If so, Feelstide might run again.
For now, I will go ahead and link you to the gdoc from last year’s Feelstide. The highlighted prompts are the ones that were written. Please feel free to use any of them that strike your fancy.
It has been nearly 3 weeks
since I made my initial post inquiring about interest in another run of Feelstide this year. I have gotten very little feedback about this. So, taking the lack of feedback as my cue, I am going to say that there is not enough interest to warrant doing it this year.
It leaves me a little sad that we’re saying goodbye to Feelstide, but I understand that people move on from pairings and even fandoms. Real life gets in the way. I also understand that the holidays are stressful for many people and are not always conducive to allowing for creativity to bloom and grow. Even I have some real life things that have impacted my ability to write and I see no signs of that letting up any time soon.
It has been an honor to run Feelstide the past few years. I have had so much fun. And we have gotten so many wonderful writers and artists involved. I want to thank each and every last person who has participated over the years and made Feelstide both enjoyable and successful. You are all lovely people!
May you all have wonderful holidays (if you celebrate) and never stop creating!
Brightest Blessings, Feelstide
Its getting to be that time of year again
So. Is there any interest in another round of Feelstide? Should I begin the set up process or should I allow it to die gracefully and with dignity?
Reblog with your thoughts and opinions. Or send an ask or hit up the IM. Let me know what you think.

Haven't done feelstide before, but I very enjoyed reading fics form feelstide! if it is still happening and okay for making art(s) for it, I would love to try this year!! <3 <3 <3
I’m still not sure if there will be a Feelstide this year or not. I haven’t gotten much response. I mean, I can get it set up and see if anyone wants to do it. If it does happen, art is always welcome!
Stay tuned to this tumblr for more information.

Surviving Christmas by lola381pce
Summary: Feelside 2016 Prompt (57) When a storm sends their plane crashing and leaves their fellow agents dead, Agent Coulson and the new rookie asset (Clint) need to survive on an uninhabited island and hope for rescue. It turns out that with their backgrounds and resourceful skillsets, this is not as hard as they would have thought. In fact, it's almost a vacation; the good Lord knows Phil could use one. And hey, the company can't be beat.
Bonus Bonus if their fellow agents at S.H.I.E.L.D., while hoping they're alive somewhere, are placing bets on how long it takes before Coulson kills Barton for annoying him too much in a crisis situation.
