Taken on a snowy day along Wooster Pike (US-50) near the intersection with Walton Creek Road in the Plainville suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. Wooster Pike is a very busy 4 lane highway. As you can see, it sits at the bottom of a high hill. The creek runs behind it, across the road where it flows into the Little Miami River which runs through the old Ohio River flood plain a few miles N of the current location of the Ohio. Seems like I remember this place all the way back to the 1940s. I used to pass it on a regular basis and thought it might be torn down since I took this shot on 12/22/2010. There has been a lot of building in the immediate area. I looked it up on Google maps and found it was still there in 2025 - their most recent post. The building was essentially unchanged. The 7 digit phone # is now completely gone as is the sign on the door. I'm not sure what all went on in the building, but for a very long time, they sold hub caps which I guess were found along roads.
