My whole life, I've been using British English...

But as years go by and my exposure to the internet widened, I began noticing the differences in spelling or naming of inanimate objects. Now, as a 10 year old asian person(7 years ago), the concept of having more than one English language(thingie??) is scary as fuck and confusing. 

I didn't really realised how it'll affect me until I started discovering the joys of fanfiction. Ever since then, I started getting the interest in writing. However, I would face a teeny bit of a dilemma, whenever I would type out my words, I would get into an internal fight with myself.

Let's take the word "favourite" for example. See? Since I was taught British English my whole life, I would type it out like that. BUT in the back of my mind, there will be a part of me screaming at me telling me noo~ that's not how you type it you idiot! there is no u's in favorite!! Then, I would spend an hour debating with myself whether the "u" should be typed or not WHICH THEN LEADS TO AN INCOMPLETE STORY.

It's horrible guys really. Sometimes I'd mix up the name of objects. I'd call them one thing and my friend would look at me weird because "Aqillah, that's not what it's called. You're so silly somtimes *laughs*"

I AM NOT SILLY, I AM JUST A CONFUSED MOTHERDUCKING GIRL OKAY?!?!?!

I hate the English language sometimes. I should probably stick to my native language but then I suck at that too...

Whoever said ITE slack, LIES. It's hard work with lots of memorising... Don't look down of us just because we carry the school name ITE. As long as you are in SCHOOL, there is still lots of STUDYING. ITE is a SCHOOL for us STUDENTS to continue our STUDIES. (Taken with Instagram)
