They smiled and watched as his cheeks glowed faintly. Purring, and proud of themselves, they let their head rest onto one of the many pillows in the nest, snuggling comfortabtly.

He returns the nuzzle then pulls his phone from the pocket of his baggy sweatpants to inform relevant parties of his location for the night. Gus, Sansy, Blu… that should be sufficient. Once that’s out of the way he bonks his teeth to their forehead and settles back into a comfortable sleeping position.

He’s teasing, of course… mostly. An arm curls around his friend, holding them just a little tighter than what’s probably necessary while he begins to doze.

A soft chuckle escaped them. Chill vibes, huh? Of course he would. Myst started purring again, eyes closing as well, as they buried against Don comfortably. The bonk of teeth on their forehead earned a small giggle.

* glad to hear it. i’m doing alright. things have been kinda busy for me. stuff happens a lot. it’s not bad stuff, mostly, but it’s a little much for me.
It doesn’t take long for his eye sockets to close. As much as he loves keeping Myst company in bed, his very favorite place to be, it also puts him at risk of getting so comfortable that he falls asleep. Not such a bad thing, as far as he’s concerned.
* aww heck, i’m tired. howzabout a sleepover? doubt anybody will mind on my end. the boys at the beach house are pretty understanding. heh heh…
*Busy good? At least that’s nice.. Overworked?
They hummed softly and smiled. Myst nuzzled Don’s cheek lightly, getting themselves comfortable as well in the nest. Might as well make the most of it, at this point. A sleepover sounded nice.
*Yeah, that’s a good idea. We haven’t had a sleepover in a while. It’ll be nice to relax with a friend.

Don chimes, as relaxed and upbeat as ever. He pulls the feline closer, holding them up against his chest and belly where they’ll be safe and warm. The blankets are pulled way up over their heads, blocking everything out but the sound of his breathing and the glow of his eye lights.

Myst made a soft noise, finding themselves pulled against their skeleton friend. They flushed under their fur and let out a purring sound, closing their eyes. The blankets covering them gave a comfortable darkness and warmth. They shifted their tail as an added makeshift blanket over Don.
