My thesis presentation is now behind me. It's been just over a day since I presented my thesis project, Panthera: Pardus. Words cannot express how lovely it was to see everyone who came to see me talk about leopards for an hour. Very much looking forward to whatever comes next, especially if what comes next is this picture book getting picked up by a publisher!

This book has been a blast to work on for the last 4 months, and I am very excited to keep expanding and refining it going forward. If you're interested in following along on the journey with me, you can follow me on here or on Instagram

Welcome to My Thesis Blog!

Hi everyone! This is just a little space for me to document my time working on my thesis project for the final year of my degree. (and also to help fulfill the social media assignments from one of my classes-- what who said that???)

My thesis project is a nonfiction picture-book about endangered animals! Right now, this means I'm doing a lot of work into researching 1. the animals, and 2. book design. In 2026, this will turn into practical application, designing spreads and completing illustrations. If you're interested in following my journey to making this book a reality, hit the follow button!

I also may post occasional work (and process photos) from thesis-adjacent projects- like my banner, which was created for a different class, but is related to my thesis all the same.

Artfight 2025 has well and truly begun folks! Not 24 hours in and I'd already been attacked, so my first attack is actually a revenge!

Aloy | April 2025 - Riso Print

What a journey it has been over this past month to get them finished, but here they are at last: My Aloy risograph prints!

Made with in 3 layers with 3 colors (red yellow blue), these prints took just over 2 hours to print on the risograph machine! The biggest challenge was getting the images aligned each time. If the more offset they print, the more they look like a 3D movie before you put your glasses on. For my second ever attempt at riso printing, I'm very happy with how these came out, and I'll definitely be continuing with riso printing in the future!
