Jessica. Stop. Don't compare us to our parents. Don't do that. We're our own people. We're both like both of them. They're our parents, we picked up some of their fucking traits. Unfortunately. If you think I'm not selfish, you are so wrong. If I wasn't selfish, I'd have been able to get through life a lot easier. Yeah, I'm selfless, but that only gets me so far in life. Mom was completely selfless. I'm not.

I'm happy when you're happy, Jess. That's all I ever want. For you to be happy. Max makes me happy, too. But you're my sister, I'm gonna always put you first. I can't help it, it's just the way I am. When it was just us, things were a lot fucking easier. But we just have to move on past the fact that things aren't the same. We're both different people. We're programmed to put family first. It's what our parents wanted. But they didn't tell us to look out for each other, they didn't tell us to always be there for each other.
