If slavery, child labour, racism, treating the disabled horribly, etc etc is present in a different “culture”, the left (usually) has no issue calling it out and saying it’s wrong, but the minute it comes to misogyny, or other oppression of women, that’s not the case.

That’s because women are still seen as property of men, on a global scale. A subsection, or subgenre of their male counterpart. We are not an individual class, capable of uniquely being oppressed while the males are fine, as we are only a part of the male. If the male is fine, we are fine, and it’s just a “cultural difference“. We are only “the wives”, and usually we aren’t seen or talked about.

the reason queer theory is so popular in these neoliberal times is because liberals LOVE a self made person. like creating a sim you're supposed to be able to choose what you look like, what your sexual orientation is, your gender and sex, your socio-economic status etc. the problem is we don't have as much control over our fate that liberalism wants us to believe and it derails the conversation of what kind of society we want to live in by shifting focus to the individual

Isn’t it strange that men can have dementia, mental development issues, Alzheimer's, or severe mental illness but still mostly attack women? Either on the streets or their family members or nurses etc. talk about intrinsic misogyny.
