It had been a trying few years, culminating in some of the worst atrocities yet. The attacks, the division, the betrayal- it was enough to dive anyone mad. But they had survived, mostly unscathed.Â
Today was beautiful, and though it was difficult, he finally managed to relax. Picnics were amongst his favourite things to do, and sitting here with his favourite person, he couldnât help but smile.
âYeah, I think we did,â he agreed. He didnât even flinch when she held his hand.
âAnd we deserve a nice day, right?â She added, more for him than herself. Bevin was of the opinion that all of the supernaturals in Beacon Hills deserved a nice day after all that had happened, even ones that had managed to mostly stay hidden like Conor and herself.
She had been herb gathering here before, and had a pretty good understanding of the layout of the preserve. There was a clearing around here somewhere... âIs Micah doing okay? I know he had some trouble during all this crap.â
