White goyishe people keep on bringing up "what if there were still statues of Hitler in Germany" and I have to keep repeating ad nauseum that the companies that still benefitted enormously from their connections and collaborations with the Nazis, such as BMW (Bavarian Motor Works), Hugo Boss, IBM, Bayer, Chase National Bank, Ford, L'Oreal, Porsche, Chanel, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, etc, are still around, and were never made to meaningfully account for any of the profits that they acquired directly from collaborating with Nazis and enabling the Holocaust.
These comparisons should invite a deeper consideration for what kinds of tributes and beneficiaries of genocide are hiding in plain sight. And stop playing a game of thinking Shoah is treated with kid gloves, instead of cynically used to promote propaganda of American exceptionalism and heroism that doesn't actually translate to justice for survivors and their descendants.
âDenazificationâ in Germany is such a disgusting and pernicious myth and itâs been so successfully disseminated. Nazis directly involved in the Shoah held top NATO and cabinet positions in postwar West Germany. A civil servant in the âoffice of jewish affairsâ was Adenauerâs chief of staff for like a decade. The justice ministry after the war had a higher proportion of nazis than during the war. The West Germans and the Americans successfully bullshitted history and everyone gobbles up it up and asks for more. So fucking annoying
And then ppl want to use postwar Germany as a paradigm for America. The fuck? Symbolic concessions w no fundamental shift in social relations or accountability for perpetrators,? No thank u!!!
Scientists, psychologists, psychiatrists and doctors who spend the nazi period defining who was âunworthy of lifeâ and sending disabled, neuroatypical and mentally ill adults and children to the gaschamber, often held their exact same positions after the war. People who were institutionalized after the war might be under the âcareâ of the same doctor who had them forcibly sterilized and send them to a concentration camp during the war.
And the actual statues? yeah, Hitler and swastikaâs were removed and that made for some good victory content. But a lot of lesser-known nazis who had contributed something to some scientific field kept the streetnames and statues named after them, or received street names and statues later in life after keeping all the same jobs.
