Personal Update & Maxley Week 2025 Make-Up Plans

Hello, everyone. I hope that all of you have been well. August was very intensive and hard for me. Mainly because of one of two classes I took this month. But I'm finally done with them both! Unfortunately, because I was so busy with school, I missed out on the proper date for Maxley Week 2025. I hate that this happened but it couldn't be help. School takes priority. But I'm going to make it up to you Maxley fans! Especially to @shadowblaze001 who was gracious enough for making the prompts for another Maxley Week event. I promise - what I have in store will be well worth the belated delivery. Mostly I just wanted to let all of you, followers and friends alike, that I'm alright. If anyone got worried about my lack of communication I do apologize. I swear I'm getting better. I thankfully have just the one class next month. And this looks miles easier to do. Wish me luck! Hey there folks! I hope that you're all doing well. In case anyone was worried - I'm not dead or anything. My college classes just got very intense, especially in December as I had two major ones. But now I'm on vacation and amble to regain myself a bit. I also wanted to share this last bit of Maxley for 2025. It's not the big blow outs that I initially promised because, again, college classes. But I promise you'll enjoy this little tid bit. Maxley Miniseries & Blonde Max AU Timeline Announcements + Maxley Week 2025 in the Works

Howdy do, everyone. I hope that you're all doing well today and that you'll be easing into the weekend with less stress and more time to unwind from work/school/whathaveyou. Allow me to get into the meat of the matter. As you all know I wasn't able to complete the finale of Reaching Out & Moving Forward back in July like I had originally planned. And I'm going through a rather intensive set of classes this month as well. There's also the finale of the Blonde Max AU, which was originally going to be the Valentine's Day special but wound up being delayed as well which led to the creation of Strangers In The Night as the special. Put a pin in that. We'll come back to that later.

So, with all of that in mind, I decided to save both finales for two separate months. Reaching Out & Moving Forward's finale will be set for some time in September. I already finished the first chapter and will work on the last bunch so I can upload the whole story at once. And the finale for the Blonde Max AU will be saved for National Novel Writing Month in November - because that's going to be a BIG finale with a lot of words. And I have a nice head start on that already. Now it's time for us to take the pin out. As I'm sure many Maxley fans are aware, it's Maxley Week 2025 right now! And to tide you all over until September and November, I'm going to make another set of prompts. This time using my micro AU Night-Shift Serenade, the universe that Strangers In The Night is set in. I got the prompts all planned out - and am working on each story bit by bit.

Maxley Miniseries Finale Delay + Spring Pups/Blonde Max AU Prompts

Hello, everyone. I hope that you all have been doing well, and are taking care to stay hydrated during this hot summer season. But I have some sad news.

As the title shows, the finale for my Maxley miniseries Reaching Out & Moving Forward has been delayed. I won't bore all of you with the gory details, but I recently experienced a rough time for about a day and a half. So I was unable to finish up the story to upload on this, the anniversary date when I first started the miniseries. It's going to come out a couple days later. I'm truly sorry for this. But, even despite that, I want to at least express my thanks. I thank all of you for supporting my Maxley works. And for following along with this miniseries and all of the different concepts and AU's I've made up. It really puts a smile on my face to know that you all enjoy these stories. Even when I get long-winded in descriptions, the plot build up or the trivia, references and headcanons I include at the end. You put up with me even despite all of that. So I thank you! So About that One Maxley Transformers AU with Defected Decepticon!Bradley that I Made...

Turns out I wasn't entirely off base with it. You see, as I was looking back at Jeff Bennett's voice acting roster to double check a reference that I was going to make about how one character he voiced in the past would've set the tone for Bradley years later - I made a surprising discovery!

Turns out Mr. Bennett actually did voice some Transformers in the past. He was a voice actor for the 2007 series Transformers: Animated. And he voiced two major Autobots and two Decepticons. Prowl, Ultra Magnus, Mixmaster and Soundwave. He also voiced the human police officer Captain Fanzone, the Angry Archer villain and some other characters but our main focus is the vehicle transforming alien robots - so back to that.

Anyway! The point is that now I know that Seadog aka 8-12-AD-13Y/Bradley as a Transformer is an idea that's not so weird and nutty as I thought it was. I just wanted to share this. Thank you for reading!

P.S: This is a major spoiler for those who haven't watched the Transformers: Animated series to its conclusion but Prowl was a rebel without a cause in his younger years before he turned into a serious ninja bot. So, it's kind of funny to imagine that Bradley would turn out the same way himself. Going from a guy who'd literally risk life and limb to win a college sports tournament to being more mellowed out and the like.

As I work on the conclusions for the Reaching Out & Moving Forward miniseries and the Blonde Max AU, I started to remember I had some alternate scene concepts that didn't make the cut for some stories. So my question to you all is this. After both the main miniseries and the AU is done, would you like to see collection of "deleted scenes" from both stories? Or should I keep them unknown?

Guideverse Maxley

Hello, everyone! I hope that you're all doing well. I thought I'd share a new AU concept that I've been kicking around in my brain since last year with you all. This is, by far, the most out there concept I could come up with. And any manga readers will immediately recognize the universe theme I'm using and perk up at this, I'm sure. So - without further ado - on with the show!

Bradley Uppercrust the 3rd is an elite in every meaning of the word. He comes from a rich family that one of the most successful shipping corporations in the world, he's a pedigree purebred Saluki, a young pro-athlete and a prodigy in all forms of academics. Most of all, though, Bradley is an Esper. An S-Class Esper, to be exact. He had his Awakening as a pre-teen and showed great promise since then - naturally. But in all the years since he Awakened as an Esper, Bradley has never had a destined Guide to love and call his own. The only guiding he's ever gotten was done at official centers. And even that has been sporadic. He never thought that he needed regular guiding. Lead alone go through the Hallmark motions of finding his destined Guide. But that all changed during the X-Games, and the freshman Max Goof won. Despite his best efforts(and trickery) he was beaten at his own game. His championship streak broken right before his eyes. And that utterly ruined Bradley. So much so that it made him snap in the worst way an Esper possibly could. It caused Bradley to nearly Erupt. As an S-Class, he naturally has elemental powers. And true to his fiery temper he was inclined to fire. The air grew hot and the ground quaked and cracked as lava began to bubble to the top. Everyone was running and screaming in a panic - scrambling to call someone to take down this near Erupting Esper. And Bradley's family was fearful of what would happen to him. Luckily, the worst outcome was avoided. A brave Guide stepped forth and calmed Bradley's raging flame into a gentle ember. Who was that brave Guide? The very same who just beat him at skateboarding and caused him to nearly Erupt. That's right. Maximilan "Max" Goof is a Guide. More to the point - he's an A-Class Guide. Due to their class difference, it took quite a bit out of Max to calm down Bradley. So both young men wound up passing out from exhaustion when all was said and done. Later on, they woke up at the hospital where a shocking discovery was made. Max is Bradley's destined Guide. And they have a high match rate to Imprint. Thus beginning a cohabitation that neither young man planned for, but one that they both definitely need for different reasons.

And that's that. I hope you all enjoyed this little idea of mine.

Maxley Valentine's Day Special Slight Change

Hello, everyone! I hope that you're all doing well. As you know, I had initially planned to create a special story for the Blonde Max AU to both close out the side miniseries and as a Valentine's Day special. However, you know what they say about the best laid plans of mice and men. Things have been rather...hectic, to be quite frank.

To say nothing of the school work I have to dedicate myself to, I have been dealing with some personal issues. I simply won't be able to finish the story in time for Valentine's Day. So the conclusion of the Blonde Max AU has been postponed.

BUT!! I do have another story idea that is much shorter that I'm working on right now that will be ready in time for Valentine's Day. I can't say what it is exactly...only that it was heavily inspired by the lady who started it all. Trust me. You'll like it. The conclusion of the Blonde Max AU will be postponed, as I said. I don't know when it'll be done but I'll work on it by and by. And when I do post it - I hope that you'll all find it to be worth the wait.

Since Reaching Out & Moving Forward got the spooky treatment in Halloween last year and blonde Max went through a final girl trip on Friday the 13th as well, this year I felt that things should be a bit more lovely dovey to keep it all balanced. Although there will also be a certain tone of action... But that's all I can reveal for now! You'll have to wait until February 14th to see what I mean!

Maxley Miniseries Story #4

Howdy, folks! To close out the first week of 2025, I proudly present to you the fourth installment of my Maxley miniseries Reaching Out & Moving Forward. This one has a lot of drama, though. So brace yourselves!

Graduating From the Past - Calligraphy - A Goofy Movie (Movies) [Archive of Our Own]

Just one last story and this series will be complete. It's been a fun journey with you all, but all good things must come to an end. I can't fully reveal all of what the finale will entail. However, I can tell you three distinct non-spoiler things to expect from this last story.

1. This will be a multiple chapter story, consisting of four chapters. 2. A character from a previous story will make reappearance. 3. Max and Bradley's relationship will have a significant change.

And that's all I can say for now. With that I'm going to leave my stories to settle so that I can focus on school, now that my newest college class has started. And once I'm done with that I'll get to work on the blonde!Max AU Valentine's Day special plus the final chapter of A Gilded Secret. So be on the lookout for those two golden tid bits to enjoy!

Swap Maxley My Take

Greetings, one and all. I hope that everyone is doing well today. The poll results are in! And survey says...!

With a one hundred percent vote of thirty-four in favor, all of you want to hear my take on a swap!Maxley. Honestly I was rather surprised. I didn't think anyone would be interested. But the people have spoken. And I won't ignore you! So here we go.

Swap!Max Goof = After crashing and performing alongside his idol, Powerline became impressed by Max's showmanship and moxie. He saw a spark in the young Labradoodle that he himself had that inspired him to take up the path of becoming a pop star. So Powerline took Max under his wing and personally tutored him in the art of singing. An eager Max took to the lessons like a fish to water. Speaking of water, to help improve his lung capacity and breath endurance, the young man decided to take up swimming as a sport. Thanks to his Labrador Retriever build and his aerodynamic standard poodle webbed feet - Max is basically a super swimmer. What started out as an exercise to help maintain his lungs for his main career led to the Labradoodle becoming a recognized swimming champion. By the time Max entered college with his friends Bobby and P.J. at Welig University he joined the school's swimming team and earned himself the position of captain. Between his talents for singing and swimming Max became known as "the Siren". Swap!Bradley Uppercrust the 3rd = Ever since he was a kid, Bradley has always had an affinity for all things extreme. And he likewise has a predilection for the spotlight. Which meant that his high-octane ambitions were set for silver screen. Bradley aspired to be just like his favorite actor; a vampire bat anthro named Chernabog who's famous for his dramatic roles and doing his own action scenes. And when Bradley's grandfather surprised him on his sixteenth birthday by getting him an audience the fabled actor himself – naturally the young Saluki was elated. Although it wouldn't appear to be the case to an outside Chernabog was intrigued by the drive Bradley had for stardom greatness and his love for all things intense. So he put forth a challenge that he felt the young man would be up to. When he comes of age to enter university; and should he choose to enter a fraternity, train the entire fraternity to become a new generation of actors like the world has never seen. Comedy, drama, romance, action, tragedy – whatever the genre is they have to be the best and beyond at it. But the number one caveat was that they have to do the stunts all on their own. It was a challenge that Bradley happily took to. And no sooner did he enroll in Welig University did he take the fraternity scene by storm – eventually meeting and forming fast friendships with Tank, Slouch, Kevin, Boris, Shades and Federico and teaching them all that there is about acting from VFX to running lines to stage props to choreography. As a result the Gamma Mu Mu Fraternity became known as the “Actor's Fraternity” on campus, setting them apart from of the other fraternities as equal parts tough and cultured.

How Bradley and Max met = When Max became captain of the swim team so soon despite being a freshman, a now senior Bradley was incredibly curious. The Gammas got a grant for their first independent film and were making a swashbuckling production. They could use a skilled swimmer who can hold their breath under water for long periods of time. So, he went to the rooftop pool of the university to see the freshman known as “the Siren” for himself. And what he saw and heard left Bradley in awe. In the clear water doing a backstroke in form-fitting blue and yellow swim trunks was a gorgeous male Labradoodle with sable black fur and hair, eyes like chocolate truffles, two buck-teeth that looked funny but in a cute way and he was singing in a bewitching voice that would have led a weaker man to his ruin. Halfway to the other end of the pool Max noticed Bradley staring and came out of the water, shaking the excess off his fur then taking a towel to dry off his shoulder length hair. He introduced himself, and the rest is history. Max was more than happy to play a role in Bradley's film. And even after the end credits of that project he soon became Bradley's “co-star” in life, and the Saluki became the Labradoodle's “jolly sailor bold” who always got to hear his sweetest melodies.

And that's that! I hope that you all enjoyed my take on swap!Maxley. This was really fun to make and is my last Maxley headcanon for 2024. But of course - that doesn't make this my last Maxley headcanon ever. I still have tons of ideas to come in 2025! So be sure to look forward to that. Until next time, you all take care!

Horror! But don't worry - nobody is going to get the literal axe in this story. However, a certain OC is making a comeback. Remember the first story of my Maxley miniseries You Fix My Heart, and I'll Fix Yours? Remember how Max got stood up by a creep of an English Foxhound named Eric Covington which started it all and first led Bradley to sweep him off his feet? Well...

Did you really think I was going to have Max as a blonde hottie and not bring Eric into the mix? If anything he'd be an even worse pest. It just wasn't until the normally unlucky day of Friday the 13th gave me the perfect idea on how to introduce Eric into the AU. And screw him over at the same time.
