You know, it's kinda funny seeing people on YouTube acting really grossed out whenever they see the word "Glitchtale". Like, "Did you said Glitchtale? Eww, get that shit away from me." that kind of stuff. Yes, I know Glitchtale is bad, it has a lot of issues. But a lot of the issues that Glitchtale has were mostly caused by poor executions of ideas, and an extremely rushed story, especially in Season 2.
I do admit that I like the fact that Chara is actually never evil, despite them being the antagonist in Season 1 (Yes, I'm referring to them with They/Them because fuck Camila). Considering that this was released during the era where people thought Chara was evil.
It's not like the story has actual problematic content in it. I've seen AUs that in my opinion, worse than Glitchtale (Ahem, Alphatale- Ahem, Pj's Daycare-). I remember seeing people saying that Glitchtale Season 3 is just gonna be focused on characters aura farming, like, do you even know what Glitchtale Season 3 is going to be about? Season 3 is Meropos, the prequel that focuses on the original characters that Camila made, and the events that leads to the Human-Monster War.
I'm surprised that people are acting like Glitchtale Season 2 is the worst thing to exist when Meropos, AKA Glitchtale Season 3 right here is somehow even worse with it actually having problematic content.
There's like actual grooming in Meropos, with Agate (Betty's creator) getting groomed by Rin (the Patience Wizard). Agate was 15, while Rin is in her 20s. She even waited for Agate to turn 19 so that she could date her, like, what the fuck? And if you think that this is shown as a bad thing where they put down Rin for it, you're wrong. Camila actively ships these two, with her even drawing them with the lesbian flag for Pride Month. And we don't talk about how toxic Arcane x Milo is.
Meropos is technically not even an Undertale AU anymore, it's just an "original" series at this point. Because the actual Season 3 was canceled in favor of a new series called Hollow Hunters. Which was originally a side story to Season 3 before Camila made an announcement that the Meropos that Hollow Hunters is a part of is not actually connected to Glitchtale, and by extension Undertale. Despite the fact that Meropos was originally promoted as an unofficial prequel to Undertale that is canon to Glitchtale.
