also i like 1776 as well! i havent fully listened to the obc cast recording but i know sit down george and discovered it bcuz of robert westenberg (who was in the 90s revival) and i ended up loving the obc and brent spiner versions of "sit down george".

also i do think its a bummer william daniels and any of the actors i mentioned above were not in frasier...

Yeah it is a bummer. But Richard Poe who was the Hancock in the 90’s revival made an appearance in the first season, so that’s something!

But Bill Daniels would have been great on the show. Him and Marty would have been friends or something. I would’ve loved that.

I firmly believe Niles is autistic. (And I’m autistic so I can say who is and who isn’t).

Yes he already has OCD, but there’s more to it than that. He stims, he has special interests, he sometimes has a hard time controlling the volume of his voice. And when he is emotional, it’s a lot bigger than how normal functioning people feel.

It’s why I related to Niles so much. I see a lot of myself in him. I adore him. He’s like a safe place for me.

Sorry for the lack of 1776 posts. I’ve been very hyperfixated on Frasier lately, and David Hyde Pierce.

This is what happens sometimes. I fizzle out of 1776 and focus on something else, but it always comes back. And honestly I’ve run out of ideas. Maybe I’ll make more memes soon.
