HOLY SMOKES I NEED TO UPDATE MY AGE ON THIS SIDEBLOG. That I was 24 the last time I thought to do so is... hahaha 🤣

I’ve not been particularly active. Grad school chewed me up and spat me back out, but hey! I’m like 3 months from being Dr. Allison.

I thought to hop on here because my partner is watching Inuyasha with me (first time I’ve ever dated someone who ALSO likes anime), and because I know his tastes I was expecting him to like Sesshomaru (which he DOES), but I asked him who is favorite character was and he said “Miroku.”

And I ‘bout lost it. Miroku!! I’m so proud 🥲. Annnnd he ships Mirsan 🥲🥲🥲 I’m DIE.

Needless to say I’ve been thrust back down a rabbit hole I haven’t been in since...2017? I caught a GLIMPSE of hair down older Miroku and it was over for me. Not that I’m like... in love with the sequel 🙃

Also, apparently April 24th is a Mirsan event???

Ahem, I mean, I am completely and totally chill about this and not at all. Don’t mind me just scraping the rust off this old blog and hopefully maybe doing some... stuff.

The fact that Yashahime wants me to believe Sango retired into housewifery and gave away Kirara and Hiraikotsu despite being ditched by her husband and all her children being grown...

SANGO should be chief of the demon slayers, NOT KOHAKU. I mean, what, is he 22? Sango's reputation as the best warrior among the demon slayers preceded her everywhere she went.

But sure, Sunrise, she just fucked off to make pies and clean house after her husband and all her friends and their children were scattered to the wind.

It’s been ages since I posted to this account, I know, but I just saw the news of Kirby Morrow’s passing, and was honestly gutted.  I think this is the first time I’ve experienced the loss of a person who portrayed a character that I grew up with.  It feels more personal in a lot of ways. 

That being said: he was more than a voice.  He was a person, and one who seemed to be fighting hidden battles that few knew about.  I think that’s something that a lot of folks can relate to.  Please don’t ever be ashamed to ask for help, be it for addiction or something else.

Hi everyone!   I’m so sorry for essentially dropping off the face of the earth without so much as a word.  It looks like it’s been almost a year (!!!) since I last logged on -- yikes!  Let’s just say that life has been hectic.  I was offered an administrative position in the Training Clinic for my program and I started my practicum work, so my time and energy has been limited to say the least. But!! I’m alive and doing okay, and I just wanted to make a post to say that.  I know that I get worried when I see people vanish from social media where they were once very active, especially all of the sudden.   I hope everyone is well! :D

I like how, when Miroku begins to over use his Wind Tunnel, to the point that it’s effecting him negatively, Inuyasha rushes in for the rescue. Like, “You lil shit, stop being a bitch and stop when you know you reached your limit, chrIst.”

And, like, at times, Inuyasha just gives Miroku one of those one armed hugs, it’s just,, hhhh- I melt. I bet Miroku does too.
