A Gentle Reminder

It is nature’s great mystery

Unwritten in its history

When rainbows in the sky appear

Life suddenly becomes so clear

A moment short yet long enough

To soften even beings tough

A rainbow is reminding us

To breathe and pause the daily fuss

To look around, remember that

The universe is really glad

That you upon this planet walk

About its miracles you talk

When you believe that you’re alone

Look how the clouds apart are blown

For you to see the clear blue sky,

To gently hush your rainy cry.

Memory of a Muse

You cannot see me

I’m a ghost

Yet you could feel me

On the coast

You sat there

Meditating

In silent prayer

Palms uplifting

Your eyes were closed

Your mind transposed

You frowned your brows

I came up close

Translucent hands

Upon your heart

I warmly placed

To break your guard

A golden light

I poured inside

A sudden smile

Made it worthwhile

I’m always near

To you, my dear

When you have the blues,

Call upon your muse.

In my dreams

I love to fly

There is a place

Up in the sky

Where lovers meet

Inside the clouds

Their bodies sleep

Below the crowds

Of dancing spirits

Filled with joy

Who naught remember

Of their ploy

I wish to join them

Raise my arms

Ascend the stairs

Pass by the harps

And find him there

He waits for me

We dance on air

Delightfully

Until the time

Runs out, and we

Return to Earth

Yet we agree

To meet again

Among the clouds

Enjoy the heavens

Made for us.

Dream

In a dream I have seen A lady in white Shining bright

Upon her brow She wore a crown Of living stars Venus and Mars

On the hilltop Grazing horses Turned to gallop When they saw us

Rainbow light Birds in flight Waterfalls My name she calls

‘You have power In your grace’ She calls me flower Strokes my face

‘We are so proud Our child divine That you have vowed Through clouds to shine’

With these words She turns upwards Her starry eyes Reflect the skies

‘Recall these lines, Retain their youth: Love is the light Love is the truth’.
