✨ Mostly drawing my original characters. Familiar Ties is my original, and currently main, story that I draw most often. It will be a comic someday... maybe.
✨ I draw fanart sporadically and only when I feel like it. Things I draw fanart for sometimes include: Critical Role, Final Fantasy, One Piece, Trigun, Jujutsu Kaisen, Pokémon, and Digimon.
✨ I'd like my followers to be 18+ only, please.
✨ I like to talk about my cat Mocha and the games I'm playing.
every time a trans man who does not want to be called a twink gets called a twink I will personally go out into the world and rend 1 parked car to shreds with my teeth. cut it out
walk with me for a moment. let's think for a sec. I'm not upset but I do want people to understand. do you think assigning a label associated with feminine features, hairlessness, skinniness/lack of muscle tone, and high pitched voices is something that most trans men would feel comfortable being associated with? why or why not?
of COURSE there are trans men who don't mind it, or trans men who actively enjoy being called a twink. but I am not hairless by choice. I WANT fat and muscles and body hair and a deep voice. and a lot of trans men that get called twinks DO HAVE THESE THINGS, yet they get called "twink" anyway. why do you think that might be?
it's okay if you've done this in the past. maybe just check in before you call your friend or acquaintance something with so many specific, potentially disheartening associations!
I wonder if the inverse occurs with trans women getting called "butch" too. because there are many wonderful butch trans women!!! but if you call trans women "butches" for traits like short hair or body hair despite otherwise feminine presentation, maybe think about why that is? is she really a butch? or is that just her body? just ask first!
nonbinary people too. are they really "masc presenting" or is that just their body? are they really "fem presenting" or is that just their body? let's all try to be a bit more cognisant of the language we use to describe the trans people in our lives, yeah? [: it's worth thinking about. don't worry yourself into a hole about it, of course! but it's something to check every now and then.
Wesley's story takes place hundreds of years after Soren's. He was trapped in Eira's lantern with Salamander until he could finally venture outside.
The world has shifted from progress to a type of Dark Ages. Stagnation of both scientific and arcane has caused the peoples to look at the magical with disdain. Wesley's appearance as Human but Obviously Not Entirely makes people curious but wary of him.
A carry over from Wesley's FFXIV Echo: He can sense the emotions of people around him. Since Wesley is Soren's first and only attempt at crafting life, his body is highly unstable. He'll experience physical transformation when exposed to high concentrations of negative emotions.
Wesley's trying to find out what happened to his dads and the world.
Wesley is VERY self-conscious about not being More Human.
Headcanon of my own story: Soren and Lux craft Wesley from their essences.
Will remain a hc because Soren and Lux are not built for parenthood. Soren is a professor and Lux is always out on dangerous work trips. Wesley would end up raised by a ghost? and a bird? Not exactly ideal. lol
Heyho!
Recently stumbled over your WoL OC blog and I have to say, your art's an absolute delight. You wouldn't possibly be open for commissions? I've been searching for an FFXIV artist with the right style for ages and you're dead on what I'm looking for.
Thank you for your time~
Wawawa! 😭💕 Thank you for liking my art enough to ask!
I don't do commission work and probably won't for the foreseeable future.
I do RARELY take requests, but those are sporadic and dictated purely by my desire.
If you need suggestions for artists, I'd be happy to share some I enjoy. 🥹
i like it / don't mind it, but i don't use they/them
i dislike it and don't use them
only if it's someone i don't know (speaking generally, unsure of pronouns etc)
like it sometimes / nuance button

personally i kinda of enjoy it even though i dont use they/them because it kinda implies someone has looked at me and assumed i'm not cis lol. and at least in my social circle it's more polite to go with they/them if you aren't sure
I know I don't shut up about this but frankly not enough people are angry about the 5-day/40 hour workweek (and I am AWARE a lot of people work even more than that). I feel like a lot more people should be absolutely furious that we only really have two days a week and some occasional hours in the evening to socialise, run errands, do chores, or relax.
It's no wonder so many people are profoundly lonely and disconnected from their communities when maintaining a social life in what little free time we have is incredibly difficult. If you have kids, a second job, a very long commute, or other responsibilities, it's nearly impossible.
We literally aren't meant to live like this and I'll never stop being shocked how many people just take it as the natural state of things and don't want to throw a brick through a billionaire's window every time they think of it.
