Hello everyone!

After much deliberation, a poll, and a minor breakdown I have decided to make an official blog for the Finfeather modern au I’ve been working on! This was purely for fun and I hope y’all enjoy.

Things you’ll see here:

-Character asks! Mostly Athena and Pallas but other characters will pop up here and there

-Fic updates! I did this on my main blog and now we’re doing it here

-Memes! Mostly incorrect quotes but I will attempt to do images as well

-Moodboards! Once I figure out how to do that

-Picrews! Either of characters or other stuff

Please feel free to send in asks/interact with this blog, it brings me joy and helps motivate me

Fun fact about Athena: she has this massive charcoal parka (that’s way older than her) Hera gave her when she was 16. It was massive then and it’s still kinda big now but she refuses to get a new coat because this one is extremely comfy and has seen rain, snow, sweat, tears, and some of her blood.

Also because Hera gave it to her and Athena is a lot more sentimental than she thinks.

Autism is probably also a factor

I’m working on Chapter 5, I promise, very slowly but surely.

Here’s a lore drop to hold y’all over

-Pallas is a drummer in a band with Apollo. They don’t really like each other but Hyacinthus usually makes them play nice

-Pallas doesn’t really see her family much anymore and when she does it’s usually over FaceTime

-Hyacinthus met Pallas and Callisto when they almost ran him over with a scooter

-Athena got into boxing once she decided to get her life back together and it’s helped a lot

-Ares once started a bar fight on accident and had to be saved by Aphrodite

-Odysseus can’t type for shit. All his texts end up being gibberish

-Odysseus lives off of Monster energy drinks. It concerns Athena, that’s how bad the addiction is

-Athena will beat your ass at Mario Kart

-The amount of pizza Athena eats needs to be studied

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everybody!

Here’s a bunch of random Christmas stuff

-Athena and Ares always go home for Christmas. And they drag their girlfriends with them (they love it)

-Pallas is the kind of person who keeps her Halloween decorations up but puts a Christmas spin on them. Hyacinthus is a Christmas lover and they sometimes argue over the bats hanging on from the ceiling

-Aphrodite starts celebrating the day after thanksgiving

-Athena is the best gift giver. She just listens to what people want and delivers

-Hera and the kids always make Christmas cookies, even when they’re adults

-Hestia usually hosts dinner

-Pallas’s family has shrunk significantly over the years and the members she’s still in contact with are long distance, so she either spends Christmas with her friends or alone in her apartment (totally not spiraling into depression) so she was very happy when Athena invited her to her family’s house

-Odysseus and Penelope spend Christmas Eve together before crashing Athena’s family gathering because Ody’s practically part of the family

-Hephaestus, Ares, and Athena always end up starting a massive snowball fight, which always gets a little too violent (Ares once broke his sister’s nose once, that was fun for everyone)

-Zeus used to go all out on the lights on the house. Athena keeps up that tradition because Hephaestus and Ares love it

Aphrodite: A little to the left

*they move it to the left*

Aphrodite: Perfect

Athena, pulls out a pair of scissors: Alright, let’s cut this bad boy open

Ares: Be careful sis

Athena: I’ve done this plenty of times before. Don’t worry *cuts one of the ropes*

Aphrodite: You don’t think it’s too big do you?

Ares: Nah, it’s not big, just…full

Athena: *cuts another rope and proceeds to get smacked in the face by a branch as the tree expands*

Athena, full of sarcasm and spite: Wow it sure looks great. Really full, lotta sap

Just wanted to point out that in this au Pallas’s fashion sense is usually either super grungy or the goofiest little graphic t shirts and there’s no in between

Adding onto this. Athena’s fashion sense is grandpa sweaters, button ups and hoodies, and they’re all the baggiest things ever. Depending on the day she’ll wear more feminine clothes but that’s sort of rare

She also has a pair of lightning McQueen crocs Odysseus gave her as a joke that she refuses to wear outside the house but that’s not really important right now
