He has partnered with Squall to combine their points (who has 107 at current and ties with Lebreau!)!

Can YOU beat them? Well, I certainly hope so, because their bugs were not much more than appetisers!

Bug Off!

H E L L O,  O L D  B E A N !

My name is Nat, and I’m a bug expert! The Bug-Off is now under way in the town of Fantasy, and we’d like you to participate!

What is the Bug-Off?

The Bug-Off is a bug-catching competition! Whosoever catches the LARGEST, MOST HIGH QUALITY, RARE bug will be our winner. We have three places, and some runner-ups! So don’t be shy! Grab a net, and swing away! Mmmm, I’m salivating already.

How to participate?

It’s easy, my chap! Simply go to the open field of the beautiful town of Fantasy and catch bugs! You simply click on the little buggers--huehuehue pun intended!--and view their size and point value. They’re quite fast, however, so do try to keep up, mate!

What do I do when I catch something?

Oh my, I’ll inform you, my old bean. After you’ve caught the bug and the information is displayed, take a screenshot and submit it to me!! That’s right, irrefutable proof in my hot little hand! Or rather, cold-blooded, that is. Simply pop by my tent to show it off to me! For every screenshot you submit, this will be your entry. If you wish to overwrite your last score, resubmit again--the previous will be deleted and the new one will be your score. Special Note: Due to the nature of the minigame, we will not accept screenshots where the bug is positioned in its starting point. The technical moderator has tried his best to keep it from doing that, but alas.

What’s this about bonus points?

Eh? Hm? I said something about bonus points already? ... OH, THAT’S RIGHT! Well, my good chum, to double your points, all you must do is partner up with a friend! That’s right, start a thread with them on your bug hunting adventure! I daresay that, combined with your screenshot of the bug, even if it’s a poor quality bug, you might be able to net--huehuehue pun intended!--enough points to put you in the winnings!

Can you feel it? THE THRILL??? ...No? Well, I can feel my stomach growling, so I’ll leave you to it. Hop to it, then! Pun intended? Pun intended, indeed.

Hey city folk! Welcome to the wild world of Animal Crossing, where the population growing in our community will turn over a new leaf in adventure! You’ve just moved to your new home, a town in the woods called Fantasy, which is the final stop on the train! The mayor is currently away, but you’re met by his super cute associate, Isabelle.

Oh– hi! You must be our new town resident? We’re SO happy to have you here in Fantasy! There’s so much to do here, like fish, and catch bugs, and own your own home! Isn’t it exciting!? There are a few things we should go over before we get started!

Now that you’ve moved to Fantasy, you are an animal resident. Oddly enough, the mayor is the only human here–but he’s away anyway. Isabelle needs five things from you to make you an official resident. If you wish to participate in this AU, please submit this form to either Final Fantasy Unleashed or The Moogle Workshop:

For information on the possible choices of the previous options, please read these lists: list of species, list of personality types, list of coffee type, list of clothing styles. (The catchphrase is whatever you want that matches your character, but you don’t actually have to RP it out unless you want!) Note: The location choice is a preferential option. You may NOT get the spot you want, but maybe close to. Keep that in mind!

Everything else–what your goal is in the Animal Crossing life, what clothes you wear, your animal design–is all optional and isn’t needed to join. (Although that stuff makes it way more fun!) After you submit your resident application, you’ll be added to the town map. Feel free to submit a drawing or edit so that we can add it to the Town Charter Yearbook! We’ll also add any extra information to the Yearbook if you want!

You can also follow the AU blog if you like, but it’s not necessary. Anything posted there will be reblogged here!

Special Note: If you’re not a native to the town of Fantasy (not a member of FFU), you can still join in the Summer Fireworks Festival and visit via the train station whenever you like! We also accept your animal neighbour designs, and they will be added to the Town Charter Yearbook as well, under the Visitors section. Your residency in the town of Fantasy during the celebration will be inside your very own tent, in the campsite!

The mayor’s away right now, but we’re going to try to make this the best town EVER before he gets back! I hope you’ll help us in your spare time! Later on, we also have a Summer Fireworks Festival happening to celebrate the height of summer. We’ll set up the booths and games when the time comes, so it should be very easy for you to settle in.
