And welcome to my art blog :D I’m not the most active when it comes to posting my art, but I still want a place where I can separate it from my main blog.

"When the fire died down, it was quiet. There was still a lot of smoke that pricked at my eyes, but I think... I think I saw a figure on the other side.
"A large... mushroom. Or was it a human...? It just stood there. But its eyes........
Dull and piercing. A promise of death....
I remember running.
At some point, ash started to rain from the sky too.
It was then that I realized, almost everybody... was gone."
Starting a new tradition with this art summary trend :3 I love how you can tell exactly when my KaiJo obsession starts lol. Anyways, I'm surprised that I was able to find something for each month! This is more of a showcase of my favorites out the things I've made this year, some of which are just doodles and unfinished wips, but hey, I'm just here to have some fun.

January: The Poké-Earth Guy AU
I wanted to combine 2 interests of mine, in this case being The Earth Guy and Pokémon, into a silly au idea. Mainly inspired by this post. Each member of Team Team got paired with a pal that I thought would suit them in terms of either background, personality, interests, or whatever seemed like a fun idea.

February: Color Theory Plate — Tarot Card Set
In my first year of college, there was this project where I had to make a set of 3 posters based on either foods-of-the-world or tarot cards. Each poster also needed 3 color schemes inspired by Context (what the food/tarot looks physically or what it represents), Color Temperature (hot or cold, you got to choose which one), and Color Psychology, which gave me a total of 9 posters.
I chose to make a set based on tarot cards along with an additional theme of animal-inspired magical artifacts. From this, I got:
1. Temperance — Triangular Prism infused w/ a Dove Spirit,
2. Moon — Lunar Crayfish Pendant, and
3. Death — Skeletal Horse Scythe

March: Contacting the Herd — Fanganronpa Edition
Just some silly doodles :3 I was revisiting the Danganronpa community at the time and stumbled upon @/pineappleciders's post. I remembered seeing it sometime before, not sure where tho lol. Anyways, I wanted to have some fun and made some protags from the Fanganronpa's I've encountered reacting to it too, hehe.

April: RTGame Birthday Collab 2025 — Grandad & Big Bertha
I love watching RTGame's videos, so I wanted to show my appreciation by joining this year's birthday collab! I wanted to showcase something Pokemon-related as that was what got me into watching him in the first place. While the Pokemon Twitch Race was what really started things, I couldn't stop thinking about Big Bertha, THE JPeg Bear of all time, during RT's run in Wolfey's Legends Arceus Tournament.

May: Mawile OC (Wip)
So, this Mawile came from a world based on Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. It started of with me thinking about Diancie variants and how they could have different kingdoms ruled by each one. The only one I got to was the Emerald Diancie, with the concept of her kingdom having a partnership with a trading and mining town on the surface. This Mawile is a wild 'mon who lives in the mystery dungeon nearby, but she decides to ally herself with the Emerald Kingdom hence the emerald pendant she wears.
The thumbnail is from an abandoned wip. I finished drawing Mawile, but I gave up on adding the background lol.
June: Sona-Turned-OC — Helein "Lyn" Elebore
It was around this time that I found the indie series "Crossfire: Bullet Rain" by LoriChoffee and Studio Avenoir on YouTube. I really loved the pilot episode and the premise of the series as a whole. At some point, I joined their Discord server, and there were events hosted where the community could participate in with their OCs. Helein was made because of that, but she was initially going to be my sona. Along the way, her backstory and identity became more of her own, and she eventually branched off into her own thing! :0 She is my favorite OC that I've made to date, in part because she was originally designed as a sona lol, but also because her lore and design were made together at the same time.
The thumbnail is Helein's profile pic that I use on her Artfight and Toyhouse pages, hehe.
July: Sunflower Doodle
Just a fun doodle I made for my favorite character of all time! I was in the middle of Artfight and backlog of college assignments, so drawing Sunflower was a relaxing change of pace. I even got to try digital painting again, to some extent.
August: Hachi Doodle (+doodle page)
So. Kaitou Joker suddenly decided to take over my life despite all the years since I last watched it lol. I still need to learn how to draw the other characters, but Hachi somehow just clicked with me. I really like this doodle of him even if I draw him differently nowadays, it's really cute hehe. I drew a couple more doodles on the same canvas, mostly of Joker as I tried to figure him out. Overall, it was a fun time just drawing whatever, and I even managed to figure things out in the end :D
September: Thieving Souls fanart
Something based on @/iceespizza's Undertale/KaiJo AU. The premise just really interests me, it's fun to think about! One (headcanon) scene that kept playing in my mind was Joker and Hachi's fall into the Underground. I just HAD to draw it.

So like, KaiJo ep.51 but in the context of Thieving Souls. Yeah.
November: KaiJo, but MLP
I started making MLP!KaiJo designs after seeing the discord server's ideas on the gang's pony names. I working on Rose and Shadow's designs when I was hit with the idea.
Me: "Hear me out— Shadow has a broken horn like Tempest from that one MLP movie"
Also Me: "That's diabolical. YES."
December: Typography Finals — Magazine Making
As a finals project, I had to make a magazine layout and have it physically printed for presentation. Ngl, this was one of the worst procrastination experiences I've had in my life T^T I'm still really happy with how it turned out in the end tho! Let's just hope that I finally learned my lesson this time ^^'
The thumbnail is my magazine's inside front cover, and yes, the white background was intentional. That was indeed a genuine creative design decision.

Final artwork of the year! It was mainly inspired by the "Blood-Soaked Petals" color palette from this post. The title reminded of Rose and Shadow from Kaitou Joker, so here we are :D I was also inspired by this French cover of Bad Apple cuz it looks cool and kinda gives me similar vibes to the twins, hehe.

I had a really good time this year! I managed to beat my previous highest attack record of 5 with a 7 :D I can't believe I actually got battle ratio'd too haha. Hopefully I can join again next year to finish off my revenges >:3
