This was somewhere north east of Naknek from memory. Spent a lot of time in a field like this fine tuning the vibrations out of the helicopter's blades after installing a new blade.

Thought I'd try to brave a medium new to me- water soluble graphite! These were fun, I've never been much of a graphite pencil art type but I love watercolor, and I really like how this makes me focus on shapes/depth. Definitely want to collect more shades

Nifty Chicago fact: Some of our large cemeteries have become de facto nature preserves. Large species like coyotes, deer, and bald eagles started popping up years ago and seem to thrive making homes amongst the graves.
