For Day 6 of Fiddauthor Week! ( @fiddauthorweek-6 )

For the “portal” prompt I decided go with the Dimension Hoppers AU. This AU is very interesting to me and, honestly, I will probably revisit it in the future to draw more for it. So, the idea in this scene that they’re running from some kind of interdimensional police force. I’m actually really happy with how this one looks, this was the first time that I really tried experimenting with lighting.

By the way, I am still working on drawing something for Day 5, so that will be out soon. And, the short fic for Day 2 is very close to being finished.

Fiddauthor Week Day 3: College @fiddauthorweek-6

Man, this idea was super cute to me, Fidds being all motherly like towards Ford! 🥰 I don’t know what happened when I drew this though. It’s kinda poor quality so sorry about that.

Fiddauthor Week Day 4: Alternate Universe @fiddauthorweek-6

Ok, so I chose to do an au of Fidds and Ford as art students.

Fiddleford majors in ceramics and he is fantastic at it! He doesn’t mind going all out and getting messy. He’s used to that sort of thing from growing up on a farm. He also loves using his artistic skills to make functional items, which is why he mainly sticks to ceramics and other three dimensional art.

Poor Ford took a ceramics class with Fidds but for the life of him could not figure out how to throw on the wheel. (It’s hard; I know from experience!)

Ford majors in fine arts. His absolute favorite style is surrealism, due to his fascination with weird things which sprung from him having six fingers. This leads him to eventually move to Gravity Falls when he graduates to get inspiration for his artwork.

For more context of the last two pictures, I imagined Ford’s teacher giving an assignment to do a cubist portrait (like Picasso style) and so Ford does it with the intention of drawing Tesla, but it ends up being Fiddleford and he’s just like “oh shoot I think I might be in love with him!” And he’s super embarrassed. 🥰

Fiddauthor Week Day 5: Post-Weirdmageddon @fiddauthorweek-6

I imagine Fidds and Ford talk and make up after Weirdmageddon, but they both understand that they have to focus on family for a while. They still spend time with one another and flirt when they can, however.

Also, I don’t know if that kiss over the side of the boat is possible, but you know what it’s cute so it stays.

Fiddleford probably feels terrible when he remembers more and more from his past. Ford seeing Fidds upset always makes him emotional. He loves him so much, and he wants to help him move forward from his past.
