Throwing out some straight bullshit right now but:

Imagine tisler looked normal / was generally somewhat normal before the Louisiana slaughterer got him

Like imagine the Louisiana slaughterer originally "killed" him but setting him on fire and thats where tislers obsession with fire comes from.

Now, if this actually was the case I can still imagine tisler still committing crimes before this;
