my work is doing an adopt a family thing for xmas and one of the requests on their list was food. my coworker says it's inappropriate, but is it acceptable to throw together a little gift basket of non-perishable food items for them? i also bought them each a pair of gloves and we're getting them a walmart gift card. would this be rude or what?
