I made art for an indie game called Dawnroot part 1
I’m diggin this! I need to check out Dawnroot ASAP!
I spent more time on this than it’s socially acceptable, cause I follow and look up to so many various artists.. While it doesn’t necessarily mean that they influence my style strongly enough. It’s what I wish for, it’s my goals, but in reality..? Who impacted me the most? I had to sit down and THINK. 8’D It’s kinda fascinating how many things we’re actually made of. It even may feel like there’s nothing of your own, but hey, look, if you combine a few things, you can create something totally new and exciting.
I’m proud to present my heroes:

Up until recently I’d been working on a mobile monster collection game. Sadly it won’t be released, but I’m still able to share all the little critters I designed for it! (This is part one! Link to the rest below! )
I’d love to hear if there’s any favorites you’d like on your own personal team of monsters. :] I’m always curious about what sorts of designs appeal to different folks..
Here’s the second half of the bunch!
some cool designs ya got here.
Tuesday Tips – Character Interaction: A never ending practice in visual storytelling. Also one of the hardest to pull off. There’s some obvious tips and approaches (visuals of today’s tip), but it boils down to connecting with your audience by engaging them emotionally. The more specific you can get, the more you’ll touch a nerve. Calling back personal experiences or feelings you had while watching other go through something will elevate your work significantly. Today’s tip is just skimming the surface of very general techniques that can help you start the process of creating scenes between characters. And, again, this is a never-ending process. Have fun! -Norm
Tuesday Tips - Floating Hands I use this a lot when storyboarding a first pass of a sequence. Placing hands in the right, most appealing position can be tricky. In order to create a clear silhouette for the hands, I often draw them “floating in the air”. Then, using my general knowledge of anatomy, I just “fill in the arms”. This way I can create a much more expressive and clear pose than if I was just radiating out of the torso. That’s when structure and anatomy can get in the way of a clear message. And hands carry a lot of meaning, so I want to make them as clear as possible for my audience to see them. I would say the same applies to life drawing. Since they often don’t carry the body weight (legs most often do), I feel like i can take the freedom of changing their position slightly to make a better visual statement. -n
Tuesday Tips - Drawing Through Put the guesswork away and draw through the forms to create lively characters and express solid volumes. -Norm #tuesdaytips #100tuesdaytips #grizandnorm #drawingthrough #drawingtutorial #drawingtips #arttutorial
All of my current joke BNHA fan characters
• (Newest) Supahgetti (Gino)- he can produce sharp and whip-like weaponized spaghetti, which he can change hardness at will, through his fingers and hair. He doesn’t enjoy people touching his spaghetti.
• Fartillery Hero, Gas Punk (???)- he can weaponize his farts. His friends usually stay away because of his gas, that’s why he’s sometimes seen all alone on the job.
• (Oldest) Pizza Hero, Cheesuz Crust (Luigi) -He can materialize pizza whenever he’s stressed out.
