Hiko raised an eyebrow, even so the other girl couldn’t see it. So she was right about her feeling..but..why would someone be locked up down here?

The girls rude behaviour though, didn’t surprise her, as a slight suspicion rose in her mind. Should she answer her question? She struggled with herself, as at one point, those girls rudeness shouldn’t be rewarded, then again..she probably had a good reason to act that way. In the end, Hiko decided for a more peaceful way: “I am Hiko, student on this school..and, I suppose you won’t tell me your name?!” She made a gesture with her hand and crouched down. “It is alright, I understand. I’m not here to hurt you, or whatever the others did..in fact I am a bit..confused as to why you are even here? This looks like a terrible place to be in!” That way, so Hiko hoped, the other girl might warm up to her a bit more.

Ruri sighs, at least knowing the name of the person in the same place as her, but even if they’re both in the same room, she know now as well, she’s from this place, from the same place those soldiers. Knowing that won’t calm her down.

But wait, did she said… school?

Ruri only knows about Academia by the name, just the name, nothing more, so, she wasn’t sure if this was a school, and if were a school…what kind of school?. Just remembering about the soldiers…not good vibes about it.

“Don’t you think, if i could know why i’m here, i would be still here?” Ruri knows Hiko is in front of her,because of the voice. “If you’re an student of this, you should tell me why i’m here”. She sighs again, rubbing her chin, her face, feeling emotionally tired to this. “My name is Ruri”. Telling Hiko about her name won’t make things worse, because actually, things are really messed up at this point.

“Ruri?!”, she repeated. “Well, that is a nice name.” Hiko smiled. “But I am sorry, I can’t tell you why you are here either. I’m..confused about this as well..and not less shocked.”

Hiko rubbed the back of her head. Everything of what Ruri said, encouraged her suspicion. “You are from the XZY dimension, I assume?!..that is..odd..” The girl stood up again and walked around. Why was Ruri here? As far as she was aware of, they didn’t make any prisioners..unless.. “You probably are important to the professor..there is no other reason as to why you are here. But..why?..why would he need you?..” The last question was more aimed at herself. Just whyt is going on here? “I knew something weird was going on in this school since he arrived,..but things are getting worse..”

“You don’t need to be scared of me..I’m not like..most of the others here..”. Hiko spoke in a friendly and soft voice, as she hoped it would calm that someone down. But what an odd place. Like a prison of some sort. The girl didn’t know something like this existed in this school. Taking a few steps deeper in the room and her eyes slowly getting used to the dim light, she noticed a figure in the corner. Though she had already felt the presence of another person in here, Hiko still startled when she found said person.

Ruri wasn’t sure if that voice, was saying the truth or was just a lie to make her feel more comfortable… and hurt her later. She couldn’t even trust in her shadow. She remains silent, even when she already noticed that person, that girl saw her through the darkness, because she stopped moving.

It doesn’t matter anymore, she already was discovered by that person. “W-what? who are you…?” She asks, in a very low voice. “I don’t care what you said…all of you are monsters’‘

“I can’t explain this..as I don’t know anything about it..”, she simply replied and looked at him. “We were just…there to do the dirty work. Only the privileged students are provided with more information. However..” and she sighed, turning her gaze away from him and focusing on the ocean instead. “The exact reason as to why the professor wants to fuse dimensions, is a thing, only he knows..he alone..”

After a few moments of silence, Hiko continued: “Most of them follow his orders without questioning them. They promise themeselves great glory and a better life from it. But I fear it might be the end for all of us..”

Unbelievable, even they got treated like slaves despite their horrible actions. Somehow he could feel that this girl could be trusted.

“I don’t know exactly what is going on…” The brunet eventually said, placing his hand on her shoulder. “…but there is one thing I know, you can’t give up like this…”

Hiko startled, as she felt his hand on her shoulder and looked surprised at it. But after a few more seconds of silence, a small, yet gently smile formed on her lips: “You are right about this. There is still hope after all..”

Her eyes wandered up to meet his and her smile brightened. “Oh..I..I never told you my name, did I?!” Shaking her head, she couldn’t help but chuckle slightly. “How should I gain your trust, if you don’t even know how to call me!..I am Hiko.,and..it is really nice to meet you-..uh..”

Hiko walked through the catacombs, not expecting any ‘interruptions’ down here. But stopped as a weird noise caught her attention. What was that? Hiko was sure, that she was alone down here..or was she?

Letting her gaze wander around, she noticed a door not far from her. “Hmm..” Slowly, she walked closer to it and, looking cautiously around, opened it. “..Hello?” The girl asked into the darkness, only one torch spending enough light to see rough shapes.

Ruri heard someone near where she is in, at the beginning were steps, but a few seconds later she heard a voice, who sounded like a girl’s voice. She wanted to ask, but at the same time she actually learned to be quiet, and close her mouth during some situations. Maybe she will find a way to escape soon, and that girl voice will help her…if she’s silent enough. ‘‘….’‘

Hiko sighed annoyed as she sat down on the bed and looked over to the boys. “I can’t believe it..I really can’t.” Another sigh followed, as she finally laid down. “If any one of you snorts, steals my blanket or does some other inappropriate stuff..I throw you out!”

Tsukikage on the other hand, who had his back turned towards the other two, just mumbled something unintelligible.

Hiding doesn’t sounded like such a bad idea, Tsukikage thought to himself, before getting back onto the bed. “..then what exactly do you want to play?”, he asked with an inaudible sigh.

Hiko sat upright and throw Sora a confused look. “Yes..what exactly? I’m not dueling against you. The plain cards are less impressive, if you play it..’normal’. So you better come up with a very impressive idea, or I go back to sleep..then you and ‘Kage can go and play something..outside this room!”

Sora kept jumping on the bed and giggled. “Let’s play video games! We’ve never played video games together!” Sora exclaimed and let himself fall on the bed, smiling at both of them. “I bet it’s a lot of fun! And we can play different kind of games!”

And after saying that he sat up and giggled, thinking about to stand up and jump again just to annoy both of them. “And Tsukikage loves video games, I’ve seen how good he can play them.” Sora pointed out and smiled like a innocent child who had never done something wrong. “Right, Mr. Ninja?”

Hiko started to laugh. “What? Are you shocked that Sora maybe spied on you, without you noticing it?!..as a good Ninja should?!” “I repel that ..” The mischievous smile didn’t disappear on the girls face, much to his disapproval. “Alright Sora..what game should we play first?”, she then asked.

The ninja just stared silently at the penguin the other hold. It wasn’t a stuffed animal, that was for sure..it was a real living one. “Do I want to question, as to why you are having a penguin?..rather where do you got it from?”

“A plush monster!” Sora said and giggled. “If I can get a cute plush monster I don’t mind having no real pet.” Of course they can come to an agreement, Sora thought and pouted again.

And as Tsukikage walked away he followed him and sighed. “Hey! Don’t run away! When you bring him back I want to say goodbye to him!” Sora yelled, still following him.

A plush monster..of course. “Your whole deck contains plush monsters.”, he simply stated, his gaze focused on the way in front of him.

That kid sure was a handful and in fact, he wasn’t interested in playing the babysitter, yet he needed to give that child other thoughts. “Then you need to keep up with me. It would probably be the best, if you apologise to the zoo director as well, for taking the penguing without approval!”

The evil thing in form of Yuya just stood there, watching the girl on the other side of the field. She didn’t have a chance against him. Never.

While she had her turn something inside of Yuya started to bubble up. Something that told him to stop, that the way he acted was wrong and wouldn’t help anyone. But this thing wasn’t strong enough to make the darkness inside of disappear.

“Your words won’t save you from your loss,” Yuya growled at Hiko with his dark grin. Her words reached something inside of him but it was still too weak to act. The darkness was too strong and kept Yuya like a prisoner inside of a small cage. “It’s still your turn.” he said, not even trying to response more to the topic Hiko had brought up. The only thing that he wanted now was destruction. It felt like he’d take revenge or fight back for something bad that had happened to him. “Finish your turn already, I want to end this here and now.”

Hiko narrowed her eyes and snorted. “Too busy to act out of your character?! I did already finish my turn! Or do I need to write you a postcard for you to get it? Otherwise..keep sleeping, maybe when you wake up, you finally realise the wrongs of your current behaviour!”

She folded her arms and waited..sure, nothing pleasant would happen..but she had no other choice..
