Just read a thing and now I’m rolling my eyes. Communications skills are vital in maintaining healthy relationships. Any kind of relationship. If there’s a problem, open your mouth and say “hey, there’s a problem.” Stop acting like the other person is just supposed to read your mind and magically know how to fix things if they don’t even know there’s a problem.

Relationships are a two way street. You both have to make an effort to reach out and communicate. Yeah, it might be scary and it might make you nervous, but it helps. It solves problems. It’s healthy.
