Fight to Win - The Atom Vs Ant -Man
Big ideas can come from little, little men, and today, these two will put their ideals and inventions to the test in a battle where there’s only room for one giant sized champion!
The bigger they are, the harder they fall--and every hero matters, no matter how small!
Ray Palmer, the Atom
And Scott Land, the new Ant-Man
I’m Tommy the Bomb-Y, and it’s my job to pit fiction’s champions against one another in a
FIGHT!
TO!
WIN!
Star City is riddled with crime--and equally as populous, a crowd of heroes seeking to stop them. From the Green Arrow to Black Canary, even the most mild mannered of businessmen could have a double life of extinguishing evil.
A brilliant CEO who wanted in on the action did so by utilizing his brilliant mind and engineering skills. With his size altering exosuit, Ray Palmer would become the Atom.
Name: Ray Palmer Age: 36 Height: 6’2” (187 cm) at base Weight: Variable Race: Human Homeland: Star City Alias: The Atom Superhero Legend of Tomorrow Ray Palmer’s size altering exosuit allows him to change size at will, making him a valuable asset for heroes across the universe and beyond. With his brilliant intellect and valiant nature, he can shrink down and destroy evil from the inside, or grow to stomp it out as he pleases.
As the Atom, Ray can shrink or grow to any size he chooses, and upon his growth, he gains a proportionate power boost. At his height (no pun intended) of power, Ray is capable of hand to hand combat with the Leviathan, Vandal Savage’s giant, humanoid super weapon. Despite being made of 2166 technology, Ray was strong enough to destroy it. When shrunk down, Ray has can fling himself with enough force to break through a foe’s body not unlike a bullet, and can leave dents in concrete by landing on it.
The Atom Exosuit can fly, and offers Ray an increased durability that allows him to shake off impact of an exploding jet plane as if it were nothing. He survived a fall of several thousand stories, and can tank arrows, bullets, and missiles as if they were nothing.
A pair of Photon Cannons make up the Atom’s long range weapon of choice--a fairly straightforward blast of compressed light that can knock most foes off of their feet. Ray can even compress this energy into a beam sword. Although these heavier artillery weapons take a bit of time to recharge and cool down, so Ray can’t use them frequently. Luckily, he has a close up electricity generator that can shock a target with enough force to knock them backwards.
The suit even has an advanced computer system--able to identify anything or anyone in front of Ray.When you have an IQ of 140, it’s good to have an on screen scanner. When a target needs to be reduced, the Atom’s shrinking extends beyond simply himself. When a meteorite of Nth Metal was headed for earth, the Atom’s shrinking ray was enough to reduce it to a harmless size.
Ray survived torture from the powerful Damien Dhark, and has trained his body to physical capacity. He was able to hold his own in a sword battle with a Shogun in feudal Japan, which he only participated in because his value as a hero was recognized by the time traveler Rip Hunter.
Although his suit is impressive, Ray can be a bit too proud of his own creation for his own good. He’s been outdone by the likes of Team Arrow due to his over reliance on this technology, looking down on fisticuffs as a last resort. However, the Atom always gets the job done--his big ideas leading to even bigger changes in Star City and all over space and time...and all from a small suit.
For better or for worse--Hank Pym changed the world of science forever when he created the Pym Particles--sub atomic alterers of matter than can increase or decrease an object’s size--able to make anything gargantuan, or, the size of an ant. With such a great power came great responsibility, one that Hank Pym could not handle.
Many years after his invention caused some of his greatest strifes and regrets, Pym is prepared to take up a new apprentice. He shares his Pym particles with the man he deemed worthy to become the second Ant Man.
Name: Scott Lang Age: Not documented Height: Variable (5’10”/178 cm base) Weight: Variable Race: Human Homeland: USA Alias: Ant-Man Second Pym Particle Superhero Seeing the potential in Scott Lang to be the hero he couldn’t be, Hank Pym trained the professional criminal to save the day as Ant Man, whose change sizing abilities pack a mighty punch on crime, backed by an army of soldier ants.
Pym is a picky fella, and not anybody could be Ant Man. Scott got the chance he did based on his intelligence and ingenuity. If he’s clever enough to break into a millionaire scientists’ safe, he’s clever enough to be a superhero. With the help of his daughter, Hope, Hank trained Scott in self defense to better utilize the powers he would gain…
Using the Pym Particles, Scott can shrink down to the size of an ant. The big plus here is the fact that his strength does not adjust to scale, enhancing his physicality greatly--packing the force of a grown man behind a tiny superhero. According to Hope, Scott can hit someone with the force of a bullet, 2,500 feet per second, and over 450 joules of energy.
In his miniature form, Ant-Man was able to trounce Falcon in battle--his size and speed giving him an excellent mobility. He’s small enough to sneak inside machines, enough so to tamper with the technology worn by the aforementioned Falcon and Iron Man. He also was able to outdo the Yellow Jacket, another user of similar technology.
The Pym Particles go both ways--Scott can use them to grow to be several stories tall (albeit, at the cost of immense strain on him). He becomes clumsy and cumbersome in this state, but can easily throw about trucks weighing several tons and topple buildings. When increased in size his durability does wonders too, able to endure missile fire from War Machine.
Scott also packs a collection of Pym Particle discs, which he can throw and influence the size of anything and anyone they make contact with. He can make objects enlarge with blue discs, and make them shrink with red ones.
Pym’s final tool of choice is a device that allows control over insects. With a bit of radio control of pheromones, Scott has rudimentary control of ants. With an army at his disposal, he can cover a battlefield, and even change the size of his own ants with his Pym Particle discs.
Land proves that big things come in small packages, and he’s one package that blow up in the face of any opponent daring enough to face him.
Ladies and gentlemen, break out the magnifying glasses--let’s see which tiny titan trounces their opponent!

“Thanks again for stopping by, Scott.” Tony lead the fellow Avenger into his office. “Can I interest you in a martini?” Before Scott could answer, a plate on which two martini glasses filled with clear liquor extended toward him from a compartment in the Stark Towers wall. “A martini before I navigate the inside of your suit?” Scott chuckled slightly, motioning to the Ant-Man helmet in his hand. Tony shrugged. “More for me.” The philanthropist picked up both glasses himself. “So just what am I looking for again?” Scott urged, looking over at Tony’s suit, which laid on a stand angled against a wall. “JARVIS detected some kind of disruption in my suit. Nothing the naked eye could detect. Could be the smallest of loose bolts.” Tony turned to Scott. “So I figured the smallest of Avengers would be best to take a look!” Scott placed his helmet over his head. “Gee, thanks.” Suited up, Scott immediately reduced his own body down to a point at which Tony could no longer see him. “Ooh, and if you find any crumbs in there, pull them out if you can!” Tony called out. “I gotta stop eating while I’m wearing that thing.” “Want me to polish the jet thrusters too, your majesty?” The microscopic Scott rolled his eyes as he climbed up into the Iron Man suits arm, squeezing into the open ridges of the armor.
Inside the curves and wires within Iron Man’s suit, Ray Palmer stood, recording everything he saw on his tablet. “Interesting stuff...I have to admit I wouldn’t think to use these kinds of materials.” He muttered to himself. ”Hey buddy!” Scott surprised Ray from behind. The Ant-Man believed he found exactly what Tony could not. “You lost? You seem to have wandered into someone else’s armor.” “Guilty as charged.” Ray compacted his tablet, returning it to his utility belt. “I’m not looking for any trouble. I just wanna make sure your Iron friend can’t do anything he might regret with this kind of technology.” “A surprise search?” Scott cracked his knuckles. “Was never a fan of that kind of thing in prison.” “I think I know where this is going…” Ray turned to face Scott straightforward. “Not that I’m complaining.” FIGHT! Ray blasted himself forward with the the thrusters on his suit, his leg pointed forward to land a rushing kick into Scott. Pushed backwards, Scott gripped the steel panels inside the suit, pushing himself forward toward Ray, his elbow pointed out to hit Ray. The two were quickly entangled, catching one another’s blows. Scott grabbed hold of Ray’s head, pulling back his own before exposing his opponent to a powerful headbutt. A bit of blood flew from Ray’s nose, who exasperatingly pressed his hands to Scott’s chest in response. “Sorry, little close for comfort.” Ray released the photon blast from the cannons on his suit, sending Scott flying backwards. Scott grunted as his body hit a wall of iron behind him. “Now you’re really asking for it!” Scott reached for the closest thing to him--a cluster of wires connected to a compartment within the armor, which he yanked out of place. I’ll pay for that later. Scott threw the wires, their sparking end out forward, at Ray, who endured a shock when they made contact. With his foe shaken and paused, Scott threw himself forward, knocking Ray off of his feet and down onto his back, slamming against a thick ground of cables. “Not so tough now, are yAAGH!” Scott quickly found himself tripped off his own footing, knocked down by Ray, who had used his legs to knock him over with a quick maneuver. Ray was fast to roll toward Scott, lifting himself over his opponent. “Let’s see how many watts that suit can take, huh?” Gripping Scott’s wrists, Ray sent a surge of electricity into his foe. Scott yelled in pain, but wasn’t paralyzed. Through the pain running through his body, Scott sent his knee upward into Ray, flipping him over and off of himself. “You’re hard headed!” Ray said between bated breaths, climbing back up. “Lots of prison hazing.” Scott responded with a shrug as he stood back up himself. The two superheroes rushed at one another. Fueled by his suit's thrusters, Ray shot himself at Scott. The two collided, both of their fists crashing into their foes chest. As soon as the collision occurred, the suits of both men made a slight hiss and sputter. Uh-oh. Oh, geez.
Tony lounged back in his recliner, polishing off his second martini, when out of the corner of his eye, he saw the arm of his suit shaking violently. After vibrating eerily for a few seconds too many, Tony’s heart skipped a beat when he saw two fully grown men in red and silver suits suddenly burst out of it. The pieces of the Iron Man suit’s arm fell as Ant-Man and the Atom raged on as they expanded back to their natural size. Scott threw his legs in a circle trying to kick his opponent, only for Ray to grab his foe’s thigh, throwing him over his own shoulder. Scott hit the ground with a great impact, breathing heavily as he rose to one knee. “Alright, buster. Get ready for the cavalry!” Scott pressed a single finger to his helmet’s earpiece. Ray braced himself, prepared for the worst. A chill ran up his spine when a faint buzzing noise entered his field of hearing. Within a few moments, the Stark Tower window behind Scott shattered as a cloud of flying ants rushed inside. Ray yelled in shock as he quickly found that the force of the insects were enough to carry him backwards into the window behind him. The glass broke as he fell out, hurdling over the side of Stark Tower. “This ISN’T OVER!” Scott ran after Ray, jumping off the edge of the floor after him. Left behind, Tony looked down at the empty martini glass before processing everything that had just occurred. “...JARVIS, call window repair.”
((music shift: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ToDHGKykPh8 )) Free falling down the many, many stories of the building, Ray regained his composure, aiming his back for the ground, he looked up to see Scott diving after him, small shards of glass raining with him. Scott unlatched a silver disc with a blue, light center. “Ya hear the one about the pancake outside Stark Tower?” Scott threw the disc, which released a blue light when it made contact with one of the pieces of glass, which then suddenly grew to several times its original size. The massive sheet of glass fell toward Ray with great speed. Ray pointed his sidearm at it. “You’re gonna wanna close your eyes!” He said before firing off a photon blast which shattered the enlarged piece, sending it’s smaller fragments up at Scott, to his irritation. “Going up!” Ray said as he activated the jet flames on his suit, allowing him to fly upward, grabbing Scott’s leg during his ascension. Scott quickly found himself helpless, dangled about by the Atom, who quickly spun him around mid air before throwing him down into the street below. Scott flew to the ground with an impact that broke the concrete below. Ray, meanwhile, landed safely with aid of his suits flying function. “Learn your lesson yet?” Ray urged as he approached the crater made by Scott’s crashing body. When the dust from his fall cleared, Scott could still be made out, crouching low, another blue disc in his hand. “I’m told I’m a unique kind of learner, you see.” Scott noticed one of his ants had drifted down toward him from the battle above in the tower. “Sometimes I need a little help!” Scott threw the disc upward, which with another flash, made a behemothic monster out of the ant, which grew to the size of a car, landing on the ground with a heavy thud. “Can’t say I thought I’d see this today…” Ray admitted. “CHARGE!” Scott pointed at his foe, directing the ant to lift off the ground with its wings, hissing as it lunged at Ray. Ray quickly pointed his photon ray at the ant--but it wouldn’t fire. Still cooling down?! Before he knew it, he was floored, the massive ant on top of him and it’s hideous features mere inches from his own face. “Good boy!” Scott smiled. “Don’t let him back up!” This might be my worst nightmare--oh my god. Ray cringed as the giant ant fogged up the visor of his helmet. He arched his ion blaster on the opposite arm of his suit at the ant, releasing a single blast that shrank the insect back down to its original size. “I really should’ve been an exterminator…” Ray dusted himself off, while Scott rushed toward him. Ray turned around, lifting his arms in a martial arts stance. He was surprised to see Scott jump off the ground a few feet away from him and quickly shrink midair. Before Ray even knew it, he was flipped over by the microscopic Ant-Man, who had latched to his chest and pulled him over with all of his full sized strength. “Can’t hit what you can’t see!” Scott smiled as he punched Ray’s body, creating a sensation akin to a bullet. Ray endured several pint sized strikes all over his midsection. “True…” Ray activated his flight thrusters. “But I can shake you off!” Ray lifted himself off into the air, spinning through the air, hoping to get rid of the Ant-Man so he could regroup. Before long, he felt the pressure from his opponent’s blows shake off as Scott fell off of his body. “You aren’t getting away that easy!” Scott urged. In the middle of his fall from Ray’s body back to the earth, he expanded back to his full size, and from that threshold, continued to do so. Ray didn’t realize that behind him while he flew, Scott had grown to be much taller than the tower they were just fighting inside. Scott needed only to extend his massive arm and place his hand in way of the path Ray was flying through to swat Ray hurdling back down to the ground. “Game over, fly boy.” The gigantic Scott’s voice echoed. “I’d stay down if I were you.” Ray climbed back onto his knees. “You’d like that wouldn’t you?” Within a few moments, Ray’s body was surrounded by a blue light, which expanded and caused his own structure to grow taller. Before long, he was just as huge as Scott, both dwarfing the towers that surrounded them. Cars halted in the streets and people gawked from the windows of their office buildings as the giants approached each other. “I’m ready to settle up if you are.” Ray beckoned towards himself with a hand gesture. “Be my guest!” Scott responded before throwing the first punch, connecting with Ray’s jaw and sending a gigantic glob of his spit out of his mouth. Ray promptly returned with a photon blast to Scott’s chest, which pushed the gigantic Ant-Man down the length of the city block. The behemoth superhero had to quickly grab the rooftops of a couple nearby buildings to pull himself back up. The Ant-Man scoped his surroundings once he regained his footing. “What have I got here…” Scott reached down, picking up an empty semi-truck which he tossed in Ray’s direction. Ray quickly fired his Ion blaster at the truck, shrinking it back down. “You’re out of tricks…” Ray said as he stepped forward, grabbing both of Scott’s shoulders. “And out of luck!” With that, Ray sent a surge of electricity into Scott, who endured the full force with a yell of pain. The moment of shock ended, Ray, still holding onto Scott, sent his foot into his stomach, sending him tripping backwards once more. Scott’s clumsy fall was halted when his back collided with the iron bars holding up a water tower. “Oh shit!” Before Ant-Man could move, the water container came crashing down onto him, dousing him with water. Almost immediately, his suit began to short out. “Oh man, there is NO protocol for this!” Electric surges began to dance about Scott’s body as his suit’s fuses broke out in sparks. With each small combustion, Scott began to shrink back to his natural size. Within a few moments, he was suspended in mid air, in a soaked and destroyed suit and reverted to his natural size. “Down came the rain…” Ray chuckled as he watched Scott fall through the air, yelling in horror before the Atom extended his palm beneath him, quickly clasping his fingers shut as soon as he caught his foe. KO “Rip Hunter is gonna want a look at that suit of yours, too.” Ray said before he stomped away from Stark Tower.
((victory circle theme: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzYtahEg0nQ )) Both Ant-Man and the Atom demonstrated brilliant technology and skill, but only one rose to the occasion. Both heroes could counter most of their foe’s tricks--able to shrink and grow to similar proportions and efficiency to undo just about anything inflicted upon them. What really counted was their weaponry and fighting skills. Ant-Man had very little in way of destructive force besides things he could improvise with his Pym Particle discs--but anything he made expand, the Atom could easily reduce. While the vice versa was also true, the Atom had a significantly bigger bag of tricks with his photon blasts and electric shocks--more than enough to outdo Ant-Man’s swarms of insects. Ant-Man may be able to brush off missiles like they’re nothing, but the Atom did the same with an exploding jet plane, and his suit’s capabilities of flight gave him total control over the battlefield. And while Ant-Man has traded blows with the Avengers’ finest, he’s never had a battle as definitive with a foe as powerful as the Leviathan, which the Atom won. Ray also had a much better understanding of his own technology than Scott, who’s still learning to use the suit and Pym Particles. Ray created his own suit from scratch and has accounted for situations where the worst could happen. He was the only fighter that was preparred for anything. The winner...is the Atom

Fight to Win: Dave’s Cut - Homura Akemi Vs Yoshikage Kira
Next up on Dave’s Cut--where we have no time for research or analysis! Manipulators of time and masters of demolition! Kyubey’s oldest pawn, Homura Akemi, against the menace on Morioh, Yoshikage Kira!
Cue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lgwkZJ9G3c
Throwing the wrapper to his favorite sandwich into the receptacle by the park, Yoshikage Kira looked at his watch. “And still ten minutes to spare before I have to go back to work…” He thought aloud. “And it’s such a beautiful day…” The toe headed man pulled open his coat, his torso facing the trashcan, positive nobody could see. He looked down inside. “Ooh...Minako.” He cooed as he feasted his eyes on the severed, rotting hand of his last victim. Just looking at the once young lady’s red painted finger nails made him shiver. “Our time together has been exquisite...but an odor is beginning to surround you. What would people say?” Gingerly as he could, Kira pulled the hand from his coat and dropped it into the trash. “I suppose it’s time to track down a new one. Maybe after work...there’s a woman on the subway each day with exquisite fingers....” Kira’s daydreams were cut short by a voice behind him. ”That hand was your last, you sick freak.” Kira’s heart skipped a beat. He’d been found out? But he had always been so discrete! “Who the…?” Kira turned around. He had never seen this dismal looking little girl in his whole life. “I can tell you're confused.” Homura Akemi plainly stated. “But I’ve seen you carry out your hideous indulgences for too long!” Kira’s eyes shot left and right. “If you’ve really watched me for as long as you claim...you know I cannot allow you to leave here.” FIGHT Homura’s shield, her temporal sand timer in its center crest, materialized over her arm. “Get ready!” She lunged in Kira’s direction, swinging her shield, hoping to land a decisive, close range blow as quickly as possible. Kira swayed out of the first swing’s direction, before finding himself forced to block a second blow with his hand. Despite his seemingly initial success, he quickly found his hand wasn’t a sufficient defense, as Homura overwhelmed him, sending him rolling backwards after three strikes across the face from her metal shield. “Nice try.” Homura droned. On a single knee and wiping blood from his mouth, Kira chuckled to himself. “What’s so funny?” Homura snapped. “You have no idea…” Kira stifled a full on maniacal laugh. My Stand...Killer Queen makess a bomb out of everything we touch! Invisible to Homura, Kira’s Stand, Killer Queen manifested. The magenta figure mimed the motion of the pressing of a TNT detonator. As soon as the motion was fulfilled, Homura’s shield glowed and, within a moment, exploded. The blast sent Homura flying backwards, crashing into a park bench hard enough to leave a dent. Homura pulled herself off the structure, looking down at all that remained of her shield in her palm--the sand timer crest, surrounded by jagged and charred metal. “That could’ve turned out a lot worse…” Homura admitted, before she looked up. She hadn’t realized that her shield was what carried her slew of firearms, which were now scattered about the park. Kira rubbed his hands together as he picked up a heavy rocket launcher, resting it on his shoulder. “Everything’s coming out Kira today!” A wicked look in his eye, Kira pulled the trigger, firing off a massive rocket. Homura quickly gripped a discarded grenade, biting off the pin and throwing it at the missile. The explosion promptly detonated the missile in mid air, causing an immense, mutual explosion, causing both combatants to skid backwards. “Don’t move!” Homura lifted a machine gun off the ground, taking aim at Kira and opening fire, releasing a storm of flashing bullets in his direction. Kira stopped cold in his tracks. ”Killer Queen!” Kira’s Stand appeared behind him again, drifting toward a car parked nearby. Kira’s Stand lifted the car off the road, holding it up in front of the prolific serial killer. Kira smiled smugly as the bullets blasted the car harmlessly. Killer Queen promptly threw the car at Homura as soon as her gun ran out of bullets. Homura braced herself, generating a purple shield of energy in front of herself. Killer Queen, once more, made the detonating hand gesture, causing the car it had handled to burst into flames. ”Damn it! The force of the blast was enough to knock Homura off of her feet despite the leverage of her defenses. “Winning one fight is easy, maybe even fun.” Kira, his eyes half lidded, lectured. “But it makes you stressed out for the next one.” By the time Homura returned to her feet, she saw a device materialize between herself and Kira. Sitting on four wheels was a metal, dome shaped shell, decorated with a skull. “Killer Queen’s second bomb, Sheer Heart Attack.” Kira introduced. As he did so, the skull on the bomb’s front glowed to life before the wheels carried itself toward Homura. Homura was quick to pick up a pistol from the ground. “Keep away from me!” Homura desperately pulled the trigger, sending an entire round of bullets at the Sheer Heart Attack. Every bullet bounced right off. Kira chuckled. “Sheer Heart Attack has no weaknesses.” Homura dropped the gun. Taking a single step backwards, she gripped the slightly broken sand timer she had left in her pocket. Please work! Sheer Heart Attack had lightly tapped against Homura’s foot by now--which meant it was about to explode. Homura channeled her magic energy into the sand timer, and just as Sheer Heart Attack detonated, she managed to stop time. Homura looked around. Sheer Heart Attack was in the process of exploding, the flames mere inches away from her face. Kira had a look of bloodlust and anticipation quite literally frozen on his face. Homura stepped around the exploding Sheer Heart Attack and strolled in Kira’s direction. On her way, she picked up a shotgun. One she was poised directly behind Kira, Homura allowed time to crawl forward once more. Sheer Heart Attack detonated, releasing a brilliant flare of smoke and fire, which Kira laughed at the sight of. “AAAHAHAHA!” Kira guffawed. “Luck has sided, once more, with Yoshikage Ki---” Kira was frightened by the sensation of the cold barrel of a shotgun against the back of his head. “You almost got me with that trick the last time we fought.” Homura said. “L-last time?!” Kira stammered before Homura pulled the trigger. The blast of the shotgun destroyed Kira’s skull in a single flash. KO Homura rested the end of her rifle on the ground. “Let’s hope that’s the last time we have to do that.”
The winner is...Homura Akemi

Fight to Win - Kazuya Mishima Vs Toguro
These two sacrificed their humanity for vengeance. The monster within the man will rise, but only one will fall.
Humanity, at times is all we have, but some will deliberately blacken their hearts if it means tearing apart those that wronged them.
Kazuya Mishima, head of G-Corporation
And Toguro, the younger of the infamous Toguro Brothers
I’m Tommy the Bomb-Y, and it’s my pleasure to pit fiction’s champions against one another, in a
FIGHT!
TO!
WIN!
The millionaire mastermind of the King of Iron Fist Tournament--Heihachi Mishima. While a charismatic figure in public and highly successful mogul, he was far less successful in the field of being a father than any other. Deeming his son too weak to live, he dropped the young boy down a ravine, leaving him to the odds to either die or climb out a changed man.
...The latter occurred, and Heihachi’s son, forever changed and bittered by the experience, would rise again to challenge his father. He would make his name known; Kazuya Mishima.
Name: Kazuya Mishima Age: 49 Height: 5’11” (186 cm) Weight: 168 lbs. (76 kg) Homeland: Japan Race: Human/Devil gene Alias: Devil Kazuya Son of a Distinguished Family Kazuya trained for years in preparation of the day he’d exact revenge on his father. He entered Heihachi’s tournament and won, throwing Heihachi off of the very same cliff he was thrown off of as a child in the final round. By doing so, Kazuya took over his father’s corporate conglomerate, corrupting the blackened heart of the distinguished martial artist even further.
Kazuya fights with the Mishima Style Karate passed down by the generations of his family. The style is fictional, but takes very clear influence from many real life martial arts such as Shorin Ryu and Shotokan, which share a common link in their up close and intensely solid body structures--emphasizing circular over direct motions. His martial arts training make him a deadly foe--capable of throwing around armored JACK robots as if they were limp dolls and slam a man’s head into a reinforced metal wall with enough force to leave massive cracks.
Unknown to many, Kazuya has another source of power. An evil entity simply known as Devil is what saved Kazuya from dying at the bottom of the ravine Heihachi threw him down as a child. Devil promised that he’d have the power to overthrow Heihachi if Kazuya allowed him to take refuge in his body. From then on, Kazuya acted as Devil’s host, greatly enhancing his strength. By tapping into Devil’s power, Kazuya can produce shockwaves capable of destroying buildings from the inside.
While Devil used to take control of Kazuya’s body as he pleased, Kazuya was eventually able to turn the tables on his demonic host; and with extensive training as well as supplement from his own company, G-Corporation, Devil became a power source for Kazuya to wield rather than the other way around. Kazuya can channel Devil’s energy into powerful strikes that are practically explosive upon contact. The Devil Gene has also made Kazuya incredibly durable--able to survive when Heihachi tried to finish him once and for all by dropping him, this time, down an erupting volcano.
And when Kazuya needs an extra punch, he’ll allow Devil further influence over his body, transforming him into Devil Kazuya. In his demonic form, Kazuya gains access to long reaching laser eyes, as well as flight via two beating wings. Although the Devil form is incredibly powerful, it’s by no means an instant victory--a skilled enough fighter, such as Heihachi, has been shown to be capable of taking down Kazuya in this form.
However Kazuya is one of the most feared Iron Fist combatants, and few that have seen his demonic form have lived to tell about it.
If you have a band of fighters willing to help you do attain your wildest dream, the Dark Tournament, a contest of the Demon World’s most unruly combatants, will have you feeling right at home. There, combatants fight to the death for a chance at any wish of their choosing.
Any wish...even transcending your own humanity. One man, struck by grief and guilt when he dojo was slaughtered by the demon Raizen, won the tournament and wished to become an unstoppable demon. That man was named Toguro.
Name: Toguro Age: Ageless Height: Variable Weight: Variable Race: Demon Homeland: Demon World Champion of the Dark Tournament Ever since his victory and transformation into an unaging demon, Toguro became an infamous hitman in the criminal demon underworld. He remains the reigning champion of the Dark Tournament--that is, until he is challenged by Yusuke Urameshi…
Toguro’s primary demonic ability is that of expanding his muscle mass, and with it, his strength. He does so in numeric values, gradually raising his power to high percentages from his causal state. At a mere 40% of his full power, Toguro can snap a monster many times his own size in half with just a flex of his arm. While the Dark Tournament is generally fought in teams, Toguro’s immense strength has allowed him to clear entire teams by himself if his team is feeling lazy, tossing around five demons at once with his bare hands without breaking a sweat.
Practically a one man wrecking crew, at less than half his full power, he can kick a man’s head off of his shoulders with ease, as well as tear down a massive building from the inside. His own immense strength makes him strong enough to create bullets out of thin air--the aptly named Finger Flip Bullets are created simply by the absurd force created by Toguro flicking his finger, shooting air at an opponent with all the force of a gunshot--an absurd 2,500 feet per second.
Toguro’s strength isn’t simply physical. His increases of power also add to his demonic energy aura. Upon reaching levels of around 80%, his own energy can no longer contain itself, releasing as a bright red aura that can topple strong foes and level the Dark Tournament arena. He can also concentrate this aura and enhance his physical blows, a tactic that has instantly killed demons of a lower class.
Toguro also has a healing factor--allowing him to heal injuries such as when he was impaled on Kuwabara’s Spirit Sword, or given a nasty gash by Genkai’s energy blasts. Speaking of Kuwabara and Genkai, two of the most dangerous human fighters in the series, Toguro has beaten them both in battle, creating a nice topper on his already impressive resume of several Dark Tournament victories.
Fighting at 100% full power makes Toguro nearly immovable--however, it’s also quite taxing. Toguro is required to consume souls in order to keep this form together, however, he had little trouble consuming the souls of the entire Dark Tournament spectator’s crowd when this dilemma arose.
One of the most fear demons in existence--the bigger he is, the harder you fall.
The clash of the two embodiment of yin and yang, man and the demon that lies inside awoken! Who will survive this brawl?
Location: Japanese Hotel Plaza

Kazuya entered the multiplex plaza surrounded by bodyguards, walking stiffly in their three piece suits. “Right this way to your room, Mr. Mishima.” Kazuya was staying overnight for a convention--one where he’d reveal sensitive G-Corporation information anyone would kill for. Naturally his best bodyguards were on the job. Left of the lobby Kazuya entered was the hotel bar, where the staff was growing weary of a mountainous looking man, who had loitered on his select barstool, ordering several glasses of plain orange juice the entire day. The moment Kazuya’s guards lead him inside, the towering stranger’s attention, for the first time in hours, left his beverage. The guards only broke their circle around Kazuya when he whose name the room was under had to sign a piece of paperwork. Irritating as it was, the mogul of G-Corporation looked down to deliver his hancock. With a quick movement of his hand, Kazuya fulfilled the contract. He lifted his head, only to see the desk attendant with a look of horror painted on his face. Kazuya smirked as he turned around. Standing there was the behemoth from the bar, standing rather nonchalantly, the bloodied remains of the G-Corporation guards in his hands. “I thought I was being forward.” The assailant spoke. “But I don’t believe you noticed me.” “I did.” Kazuya confirmed, facing the stranger and cracking his knuckles as he did. “It’s just been a while since I’ve had any proper exercise.” “This is no exercise.” The man adjusted his sunglasses. “I’m the younger of the Toguro Brothers. You, Kazuya Mishima, have been affiliated with a very large bounty.” “My father’s doing?” Kazuya chuckled. “No one you’ve heard of.” Toguro removed his jacket. “I’ll make this quick.” Kazuya chuckled. “Oh, will you?” FIGHT! A quick kick the neck will end this quickly. Toguro tried to land a roundhouse kick on the spot, but Kazuya quickly reacted, grabbing hold of Toguro’s leg before his kick could hit him. Kazuya tightly gripped his foe’s leg before swinging him around, throwing Toguro a few feet into the air. Toguro crashed into a few neatly aligned chairs by the lobby desk. The socialites walking about the hotel gasped and scattered in fear. Kazuya crept toward where he threw his opponent, while Toguro pulled himself back up. “To tell you the truth, I didn’t feel like exerting myself today.” Toguro seemed to brace himself where he stood, straining his arms. “But I do many things I do not feel like.” Kazuya was surprised to see the stitchess on Toguro’s jacket burst off onto the floor. Toguro opened his mouth and let out a yell as his chest and arms gradually expanded. Before long, Toguro’s shirt and jacket could no longer contain his body, as his torso and arms developed immense muscles. “Fifty percent of my power should suffice.” Toguro admitted, taking a deep breath as he was relieved from the expanding sensation. He pushed his glasses back up his nose, readjusting to his newly grown body. “You think mere size will intimidate me?” Kazuya stepped forward, preparing to strike Toguro with his fist. His bare fist made contact with Toguro’s abs, and the second it did, he felt a pain shoot up his arm. It’s...hard as a rock! Kazuya cringed. “That’s how most people react.” Toguro said before sending Kazuya flying backwards with a single swing of his arm. Kazuya careened back, breaking through the decorative fish tank that stood tall in the lobby above the sign in desk. Kazuya picked himself up off of the hardwood floor, covered with water, flailing fish, and shards of glass. Toguro pointed his shoulder forward, not hesitating to charge forward. The man at the front desk yelped in fear before hopping out of the way as Toguro crashed right through the desk, through the wooden stand that the fish tank once sat atop of, and into Kazuya, who was recovering behind it. Kazuya took the full brunt of Toguro’s immense body in his midsection. Toguro continued to charge, until both crashed into the wall across the hall. Kazuya felt himself crushed between the the jagged walls and his foe’s suffocating body. I see I have to rely on my old crutch again… Kazuya felt the power of the Devil Gene seep into his hand. His palm glowed with red energy before he sent his fist into the bottom of Toguro’s jaw. This blow sent Toguro rocketing straight into the air, crashing through the ceiling and up into the floor above. Toguro landed hard, leaving a massive dent that nearly broke the floor, much to the horror of the couple inside the room, who were quick to run out with a scream. Kazuya had leapt up into the room through the whole his opponent’s body left. Toguro rubbed his chin before returning to his feet. “That sort of power...felt familiar.” Toguro said. “I’m sure it’s nothing you have experience with.” Kazuya indulged in a devilish smirk, his left, red eye gleaming. “You’d be surprised.” Toguro took a stance. “Either way, now I see why the demon underworld wants your head. As such...I have to take you seriously now.” Red energy surrounded Toguro as, once more, his body stretched and contorted, his muscles hardening and growing. Kazuya took a step back, he could feel his foe’s demonic energy. Toguro let out a pained yell as his shadow cast over Kazuya. “I’ll honor you…” Toguro sighed as his transformation ended. “With eighty percent of my power.” “Flattering.” Kazuya rolled his eyes, before swinging his leg around for another attempted kick. Toguro quickly blocked the blow, before returning with his own punch, which Kazuya leaned out of the way of. The two next attempted a punch at the same time, their fists colliding in precise unison. Their respective red energies sparked off of their knuckles each time they made contact. The two traded blows, blocking each other’s punches and kicks, neither landing a decisive blow until Toguro extended his arm, his incredibly thick fingers wrapping around Kazuya’s neck. “I’m not looking to spend the entirety of my reward for killing you on the repairs for this hotel.” Toguro droned. “This ends now.” Toguro tightened his grip--Kazuya felt immense pressure in his head. He wasn’t sure if his skull would burst, his neck would snap, or if he would simply suffocate. With a raspy cry for air and blood, Kazuya’s eye flashed red a second time, triggering the release of a shock wave from his body. Toguro was blown into the wall behind him. Kazuya inhaled, finally regaining his own circulation since he forced Toguro to release his grip. The Mishima heir panted shakily, his eye glowing and dulling repeatedly. “Not...yet…” Kazuya forced his demonic energies back into his own body, before standing up straight. “Still attached to your humanity, I see.” Toguro pried himself off the wall. “For your sake more than mine.” Kazuya barked. “You know, I’ll be a little disappointed now if I don’t push you to your limit.” Toguro lifted his arm, the entire length radiating with a blinding, red energy. Toguro leapt forward, swinging his arm with incredible force. Kazuya could only attempt to block before Toguro’s arm slammed into him, creating a massive explosion of red sparks. Kazuya crashed through the rice paper shutters separating the hotel room from the outside of the building. Kazuya rolled over the black tiles that covered the massive awning which etched out below the window, looming over the streets of Tokyo. The yellow, paper lanterns that hung off of them were the only source of light in the pitch black night. Toguro stepped toward the now empty door frame, looking out, the cool, night air tickling his face. Kazuya had clinged a hand to the awning fast enough to keep himself from rolling over the edge. “Afraid you’ll lose your balance?” Toguro raised a single hand, his thumb pursed behind his index finger. “You might want to be careful.” Without warning, Toguro flicked his thumb over his finger several times. Each time, he sent out a tiny pocket of air. Kazuya was initially confused, before the invisible shots of sheer force picked tiles off of the awning like bullets as Toguro’s aim crept toward him. Kazuya tried to climb further onto the awning, only to find himself riddled by the ‘bullets’ produced by Toguro. Blood sprayed from Kazuya’s shoulders as he endured each shot. Kazuya coughed up a splash of blood before he released his grip on the awning, tipping and falling over the edge. Toguro sighed. “Makes it something of a hassle to find the body…” The gigantic hitman stepped out onto the awning, stepping toward its edge with care. It couldn’t hurt to peek and see if he was still moving. ”This is far from over!” Before Toguro reached the edge of the awning, Kazuya shot up from the ground below, now clad in purple, dark energy. Massive, bat-like wings on his back beat up and down, carrying Kazuya through the air. Toguro couldn’t help but smile. “Showing your true colors at last.” Kazuya’s eyes were now both gleaming red, his body covered head to toe in purple scales. “DIE!” Kazuya’s eyes released a flash of red, demonic energy, two beams of red blazes crawled up the awning, slashing across Toguro’s shoulders. Toguro yelled in pain, as he grabbed his arm where Kazuya’s attack left nasty burns. Kazuya allowed his wings to carry him down to the tile, stepping towards Toguro. “Looks like it’s MY turn to push you to your limits!” Kazuya quickly turned around, slashing Toguro across his face with his tail. Blood sprayed from Toguro’s cheek as the strike knocked his sunglasses off of his face, sending them spinning off of the awning. Toguro gripped the Devil formed Kazuya’s tail, swinging him over his shoulder and back into the awning, tiles flipping over with each slam. Kazuya turned his neck around, and with a sinister smile, shot another set of eye lasers at Toguro’s face. Toguro released his firm hand on Kazuya, as he buckled backwards. Toguro wretched in pain while Kazuya returned to his feet. “I had go through hell and back for this power.” Kazuya trudged toward Toguro, grabbing him by his neck. “This is just a small taste of the pain I experienced!” Kazuya punched Toguro in the face, before winding around with a kick. Kazuya landed several bruising strikes on Toguro. One last kick sent Toguro hurdling over Kazuya’s leg, sending him crashing to the floor. Kazuya crossed his arms, his wings expanding proudly. The demonic heir chuckled. “So much for that reward you were working toward.” Kazuya turned around, before Toguro got back up. “Something of a glutton for punishment, aren’t you?” Kazuya snapped back to his foe, before he felt his stomach drop at the sight of Toguro’s bruises disappearing off of his body. “Can’t say I saw this coming…” Toguro dusted himself off. “None who see me at this state live to tell the tale.” Toguro’s magenta hued aura burst around him. Toguro’s once human skin seemingly decayed on the spot, turning from a tan color to a rock like grey. Toguro’s body grew once more, his own legs snapping the tiles below his feet as his shoulders developed immense spires. Kazuya grit his teeth at the sight. “You’re fighting me well beyond 100% of my power now.” Toguro smiled. “Let’s settle this!” The two demons rushed at each other, and the instant they collided, the entire hotel shook. The pressure of their fists was nearly enough to tip the entire building, pieces of wood and metal flying all about. Both fighters yelled furiously, releasing auras of demonic energy that crashed into one another. From the point of view of someone far away, the entire layer of the building burst from below the rest of the hotel with crimson light. Demonic blazes and flames scattered as the floor the two fought on top of fell apart. Kazuya beat his wings, positive Toguro would fall to his demise while he made an escape. He couldn’t see very much within all of the dust and debris falling around him, and although this caused him to be somewhat aimless, he felt secure with his flight. ”Got you!” Kazuya was frightened by the sight of Toguro, bursting out of the clouds of dust and fire they had caused. The hulking demon wrapped his arms around Kazuya’s chest, dragging down the flying demon. “You aren’t going anywhere.” Toguro said, his tone remaining calm despite the calamity surrounded them both. The demon hitman began to savagely slam his fists into Kazuya’s back. Kazuya writhed in pain as the pressure Toguro applied forced him to descend faster and faster. The two crashed like a nosediving airplane into the ground below the hotel, Kazuya crushed beneath the immense pressure of his foe. An immense cloud of dirt rose from the impact of both fighters’ crashing bodies. Toguro stood tall above Kazuya, who was bloodied and smashed into the street. As the dust cleared, Toguro looked down. Despite all he had exerted, his foe was still alive. Kazuya wheezed as he tried to pick himself up. “I’ll...get you...for this!” Toguro, somewhat disappointed, kneeled down toward his foe. “I wish I didn’t have to dishonor you like this, but it seems an earnest death in combat simply won’t suffice.” Toguro looked Kazuya in the eyes, and took a deep breath. Before Kazuya knew it, he felt the very air in his chest escape through his mouth. His very life force was crawling out of his body and into Toguro’s. Toguro patiently allowed the stream of Kazuya’s soul to be passed unto him. Within moments, Kazuya was reverted to his human form, before he fell limp where he laid. Toguro stood back up, consuming Kazuya’s soul completely. KO Toguro pulled out his cell phone as he turned around, still in his fully demonic form. “Brother? I finished the job...no thanks to you.”
((Victory circle music: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctk5WtJf63U&t=135s )) Kazuya’s Devil Gene let him hold his own, but he quickly found himself in over his head as Toguro’s power levels only continued to rise. Both had power capable of leveling buildings, but what Kazuya is only seen achieving with energy projection, Toguro is handily capable of with only his bare hands. Toguro outpaced Kazuya in skill as well. Kazuya has won his fair share of battles, but very rarely against anything more impressive than a mere human during the King of Iron Fist tournament. The only other super powerful, otherworldly being he’s been shown to explicitly keep pace with is his less experienced son, Jin, who inherited his powers. Toguro, on the other hand, has an incredibly long track record of not only demons ranging from his own ranking to below, but has also slain superpowered human spirit detectives who are specially trained to kill demons. Toguro was truly prepared for anything. Kazuya’s wings and long range energy attacks in Devil mode gave him an advantage in distancing himself from Toguro and an effective control over the battlefield, but Toguro’s energy waves were more than enough to compensate. And while Kazuya had an immense threshold for punishment, Toguro didn’t even need physical force to kill him. Considering Toguro could consume the souls of an entire stadium, doing the same to Kazuya and Devil if need be probably wasn’t much of a challenge. It’s highly unlikely Devil could possess Toguro if given the chance considering Toguro is, too, a demon among the highest calibre, a position he has protected in tonight’s battle. The winner...is Toguro.

Fight to Win: Dave’s Cut - Black Widow Vs Black Canary
Today, the infamous calling canary tries her wing at new prey--the deadly spider! The Avengers’ Black Widow, head to head with the Justice League’s Black Canary! Today on Dave’s Cut, where we have no time for research or analysis!

The doors to the warehouse crept open. A pistol in hand, Natasha slipped inside. “For a meeting of the biggest gangsters in New York...it’s quiet.” The redheaded agent quickly hid behind one of the many wooden crates stacked inside the warehouse. As she neared the center of the lot, the definite noise of bodies hitting the concrete ground grew more vivid. Negotiations go wrong? Natasha stepped out into sight, pointing her gun. “Freeze!” Natasha was surprised to see just about every sloppily dressed gang member knocked out cold on the ground. Only one was still standing...and he wouldn’t be for long, as a woman with blonde hair about half his height stepped toward him, punching him in the face. “THIS is for selling drugs to kids…” The hero known as Black Canary lifted her leg next. “And THIS is for looking at my ass funny.” She sent her high heel into the boss’ throat, sending his body crashing into one of the massive boxes. Natasha approached, her gun still poised. Dinah looked up at her. “So...this isn’t what it looks like.” Dinah insisted. “Just wanna ask some questions.” Natasha calmly responded, her finger wrapping around the trigger of her gun. FIGHT! Natasha fired her gun, but almost immediately saw Dinah open her mouth in response. The Canary Cry escaped Dinah’s lips. The intense sound waves stopped the bullet Natasha had fired in its path, sending it backwards. In the span of the mere moment she had fired, Natasha felt her should grazed by her own bullet. Before she could question this, she felt herself blown backwards by the force of incredible soundwaves. Natasha rolled across the cold, cement ground before recollecting herself. She lifted a hand to her ear. “Worse than Clint on karaoke night…” Natasha rose to one knee, extending her arm and opening fire with her wristlets. Dinah cartwheeled to her left, out of the direction of the blinding gunfire. “Not that this hasn’t been fun,” Dinah lifted one of the massive boxes off of the floor. “But I’m late for a date.” The Black Canary threw the box, sending it hurtling toward Natasha, who fired the guns on her wristlets, destroying it and sending the grenades packed inside spilling out in every direction. Natasha picked up one of the grenades, plucking out the pin with her teeth before lobbing it behind her back. “Hot potato.” Dinah flipped backwards, crouching behind one of the boxes and plugging her ears, but she didn’t make enough distance between herself and the explosion to save herself from total harm. She found herself knocked several feet by the force of the grenade, landing hard on the ground. The box she was hiding behind had also been blown to bits. Its contents, this time a collection of butterfly knives, scattered. The knives fell, pointed ends forward toward Dinah. Dinah, still on the floor, grit her teeth and shut her eyes, bracing for the worst. Every knife stuck itself into the floor around her, making a Dinah Lance shaped hole in the center of the array. “...Good karma at work.” Natasha pulled one of the knives out of the floor, wasting no time in rushing toward the floored Dinah, who picked up a knife of her own in response. Dinah, however, didn’t have time to get back up before Natasha was standing above her, preparing to plunge her blade downward. Dinah let out a nervous yelp, as she blocked her chest with her knife, holding off Natasha’s. The steel clanged against one another, Natasha applying pressure downward on the struggling Dinah. “Screaming isn’t gonna help you.” Natasha sternly asserted. “I beg to differ.” Dinah smirked before she opened her mouth again, releasing a second Canary Cry upward at her opponent. Natasha was sent flying upward into the air. The Black Canary picked herself up while the Black Widow crashed into the warehouse ceiling. “Is the itsy, bitsy spider gonna come down from her web?” Dinah cracked her knuckles. Natasha shook off the impact with the wood paneled ceiling, before allowing herself to fall back down. Natasha descended, positioning her knees down forward. Dinah opened her mouth to release another sonic blast, but found herself interrupted by the impact of Natasha’s knees slamming onto her shoulders. With a quick motion of her hips, Natasha gyrated herself over, slamming Dinah into the floor hard enough to leave cracks in the pavement. And my friends rolled their eyes when I picked Judo over ballroom dancing. Natasha rolled away from Dinah, quickly picking herself back up. Dinah climbed back onto her knees. “Most can’t be bothered to wake up from that one.” Natasha stated, as she pulled out her batons, spinning them in her hands before tightly gripping them. Dinah stood up tall, wiping a trickle of blood off of her forehead. “I’m made of tougher stuff than a lot of folks.” Dinah unlatched her compacted staff from her belt, with, which a press of a button, extended to a length about equal to her own body. The two ran at one another, Natasha promptly catching the length of Dinah’s staff with her batons. Natasha turned around 360 degrees before sending her weapons toward Dinah again. Dinah took a step back, dodging the swinging weapons of her opponent before plunging forward. Neither assassin could touch the other. The metal weapons struck against each other, sending echoes of steel clanging throughout the warehouse. Natasha and Dinah veered back and forced forward, their weapons clashing into one another. The two pushed into one another, sparks scattering from the center where their weapons met. Natasha and Dinah carried into the struggle for a few moments...until both were startled by the sight of two arrows racing toward them out of the corner of their eyes. A green one, tipped with a boxing glove, struck Natasha in the face. At the same time, a purple one struck Dinah’s shoulder, sending an electric surge down her body. Both combatants fell over at the same time, knocked out cold. KO From the rafters above, Hawkeye and Green Arrow dropped down to the floor. “GOTCHA!” Both archers indulged in a moment of pride, before they looked down and realized what had just happened. “WHY is date night so difficult?” The Emerald Archer said as he drew his bow.

Fight to Win - Hades Vs Maui
A battle of two of the strongest Gods produced by the Mouse House itself! One will go down in a blaze of glory, the other will reign for eras to come!
Tommy exited his dressing room, clad, in theme for this week's battle, in a toga. "Gotta admit, these are comfy!" He thought aloud. "I'd be a little self conscious to wear one, though, if it weren't for that message I sent out asking everyone else to!" The door next to Tommy's dressing room opened, revealing Evan, dressed in a tight looking outfit of soft, sweat tracking fabric. "...Evan, why are you dressed that way?" "You said to dress for yoga!" Tommy's hand met his face. "TOGA, Evan!" From across the hall, DJ Funky Freeman entered the scene, carrying a large bowl. The distinct smell of strawberries and milk filled the path. "Who wants the first taste?" Freeman offered. "What...is that?" Tommy braced for further irriation. "You said to bring yogurt!" "YOGURT?" Tommy ran his fingers through his hair. "I said to bring a TOGA. Like the Greeks wear, for Hades!" "...The Yogurt is Greek." Freeman admitted. "Mr. The Bomb-Y! I got your message and have fulfilled your request!" Dave the Intern raced down the hall. Behind him, the towering, sunglasses wearing villain of Shonen Anime Yu Yu Hakusho followed him. "I SAID BRING A TOGA. NOT TOGURO." Tommy took a deep breath. "...But actually I can use him."

FIGHT
TO
WIN!
Long ago, in the far away land of Ancient Greece, there was a Golden Age of mighty heroes and powerful gods who weren't far away or distant. Their volatile emotions and petty vanities crashed into the mortal world quite often. But none of these deities was quite as feared as the Lord of the Dead himself, Hades
Name: Hades Age: Immortal Height: 6'3" Weight: Unknown Alias: Greek God of the Underworld Race: God Homeland: The Underworld
The Lord of the Dead
But what is the story of this devious villain? That we should expl- "Ooh, boy, I swear you're almost as bad as Bob!" Excuse me? .... Who.... who is speaking? "Over here, darling!"
Oh! Ladies! I'm sorry! I didn't see you down there! Everybody, introducing the Muses, goddesses of the arts and the best damn storytellers this side of the River Styx! "Stick to the stats, honey. We'll handle the backstory!" You go girls! Yo, DJ Funky Freeman! To the tune of Gospel Truth, please!
♫Back when the gods were new, Zeus gave them each a special new task, And for his baby brother Hades – do ya gotta ask?
It didn't go so well! He didn't find the Underworld swell! So he planned to overthrow Zeus and send him right to Hell! Oooh! That's bad, girlfriend! And so he made a plan! He'd release the Titans, He zapped - Let those suckers loose on land, Not trapped, They all unleashed some chaos in their path!
And that's the Gospel Truth! The guy was too consumed by his wraaaaaaaaaath! But Herc put 'em away (Yeah, baby!) He foiled Hades, still in his youth
Though, honey, it may seem impossible That's the Gospel Truth! His old temper burns and flames, and proves that he's uncouth Though, honey, it may seem impossible That's the Gospel Truth!♫
Couldn't have said it better, myself! A god in the Greek pantheon, that title isn't just for show. Hades displays a wide variety of powerful and frightening abilities across Hercules, Kingdom Hearts, and Hercules: the Animated Series.
*Pyrokinesis (Extensive and varied uses far beyond most others) *Teleportation (of himself and other objects and people) *Size Alteration *Smoke Mimicry *Elemental Intangibility (smoke) *Geokinesis *Telekinesis (can be used for levitation) *Fire/Heat immunity *Limited reality morphing *Necromancy *Resurrection *Invulnerability in the Underworld *Fire omnipresence *Immortality
Obviously Hades is immensely powerful. His abilities are kind of ridiculous when laid out in a list. But here's the important thing to remember: Hades isn't a fighter. He sits on his throne, allowing monsters to do his bidding, and when he gets directly involved, his go-to is always to use his words and deals as weapons rather than actual physical confrontation. The only time we see Hades directly fight anyone in any of his appearances is in Kingdom Hearts, where he is defeated by Sora multiple times. However, his immense firepower shouldn't be discounted either. Though very temperamental, that rarely seems to ngatively impact his decision making abilities, and it's more likely to lead to more fire and more danger for his opponent. He's still more than dangerous enough to make trouble, and his cleverness and strategic mind makes him a deadly adversary any way you slice it. And that, my friends, is the Gospel Truth.
he Heart of Te Fiti--giving life to all surrounding islands, the gem remains in the Mother Island, spreading life and prosperity to all.
Should the Heart ever be removed from its resting place, Te Fiti would release a chaotic, alter ego, Te Ka, and destroy all life until what belongs to her is returned. Montunui, among other islands, were driven to rot when the heart was stolen by the demigod, Maui.
Name: Maui Age: Ageless Height: Variable Weight: Variable Race: Demigod Homeland: South Pacific Islands Alias: N/A Hero of Men and Women When Maui’s pressure to be loved and serve his people drove him to steal the Heart, he didn’t realize the ramifications his actions would have--which cost him his glory, his favorite weapon, and the safety of the very people he devoted himself to be Hero of. The demigod sets himself on a journey to self redemption alongside Moana.
Maui rushes into adventure with his favorite weapon, his Fishing Hook, a long range tool that allows Maui to adapt to any situation. According to Maui he was able to use his hook to lasso the sun into the air, which would mean it could endure kilograms of 10 to the 30th power in mass. He’s responsible for many natural phenomena, bringing man fire and draping the sky with stars.
Even Maui’s breath is powerful, able to clear a path and harness as the world’s breeze. If Maui’s breath truly is the winds of the world, it’d be reasonable to believe he’s created the world’s strongest winds. This would mean he could produce the high speed winds experienced in a hurricane, up to almost 160 miles per hour.
However Maui has more than brawn to utilize in the form of his favorite weapon; the Mighty Fishing Hook. The Fishing Hook contains magic properties that allow the demigod to shapeshift. Any beast from insect to whale are fair game to Maui. He can become a swift flying bird or a powerful shark in quick succession.
Maui regularly brawls with rivals many times his size and far above his league. He stole the leg of the tremendous crab, Tamatoa, and managed to outsmart, outsail, and outclass the immense pirate tribe of the Kakamora. Maui excels at succeeding when numbers and odds are stacked against him. Maui is also incredibly tough--surviving pummeling from the aforementioned Tamatoa, and making direct contact with Te Ka’s magma body with little lasting damage, meaning he can endure temperature well beyond two thousand degrees.
Unfortunately much of Maui’s power is within his Mighty Fishing Hook. If he were to be disarmed, he’d be left with very few options. Maui also has a very fragile ego. If locked in a difficult corner, he’d easily lose his composure or even throw a battle.
But with tremendous strength and tenacity to match, little can stop Maui from sinking whatever island he must to retain his status as a hero.
Alright, this battle is about to erupt! It’s about to get hot in here!

“You’ll have to do better than that, Crab Cakes!” Maui exclaimed as he flipped out of the way of the legs of his crustaceous nemesis, Tamatoa. “Hold STILL!” The angered crab swung his claw, which was caught my Maui, who countered by sending his enemy backwards with a powerful kick. No better way to spend my day than with my favorite punching bag! Maui practically danced around Tamatoa’s assaults; his favorite source of exercise. He was in the zone; far too much so to notice what was looming above him. Hades had originally taken his chariot, pulled by winged beasts, to the South Pacific to get a little color on his face--but the sight of the battle on one of the smaller islands caught his attention. He pulled the reigns of his transport, looking down at Maui and Tamatoa’s battle. “He’s muscle-y, he’s brave...he’s kicking around that oversized seafood dish like he’s a gefilte fish!” Hades exclaimed. “He could be perfect for showing up Wonder Boy…” Maui lifted Tamatoa high above his head, before tossing him over the shore of the beach and into the water, successfully flushing him out. “Come back for a whoopin’ any time you like!” Maui called out as he wiped off his hands in satisfaction. “I’ll be waitin’ with butter!” Hades cracked his knuckles. “Impressive! You’ve made it to PHASE TWO of try outs, my man!” A ray of dark energy extended from Hades’ finger, into the water Tamatoa was knocked into. “But it’s only gonna get harder from here!” Maui had turned around, starting to stroll away, before he heard the tides of the water shift. Maui quickly turned around, watching Tamatoa rise out of the ocean, the water falling off of his shell as his now glowing, yellow eyes extended out of the water. Maui took a step back, bewildered to see his familiar enemy surrounded by dark aura. “Tamatoa…?” Maui gripped his Mighty Fishing Hook that was tied to his belt. He wasn’t planning on pulling out the big gun until this very moment. “Hadn’t ya heard?” Tamatoa, maniacal and high on Hades’ magic power, grinned. “Darkness is the new Shiny!” Hades lounged back in his chariot. “Let’s keep it clean, boys…” FIGHT! Tamatoa swung his claw in Maui’s direction, who backflipped out of harm’s way, using his hook for leverage in the sand. “C’mere, you little morsel!” Tamatoa crawled back onto the sand, his once glittering, gold shell imbued with inky darkness. Tamatoa tried to slam Maui with his claw again, but Maui quickly swung his hook, sending a vibration down Tamatoa’s body and causing him to stagger backwards. “I don’t know what you’re all hyped up on, Tamatoa,” Maui said as the magic properties of his fishing hook transformed him into a gold feathered falcon. “But you use, you lose!” Maui beat his new wings as he flew at Tamatoa, who raised one of his legs, knocking Maui out of the sky. Hades cringed at the brutal hit from his seat above. “Shapeshifters, oi.” Reverted to his humanoid shape by the strike, Maui picked himself back up, gripping his hook. “Can’t take much more, can ya, Semi-Mini-Demigod?” Tamatoa lifted one of his long, armored legs up high again, intending to skewer the weakened demigod. Maui managed to sweep out of harm’s way, kicking sand behind him as he dodged. “Too slow!” Maui leaped toward Tamatoa, gripping the crab’s leg with his Hook. “Buckle up, Crusty!” Maui hopped from Tamatoa’s leg to his shell, still gripping a rope tied to his hook, which was, in turn, latched to Tamatoa’s leg. Once he was standing firmly atop Tamatoa’s shell covered midsection, Maui gave his hook a heavy yank. With a bit of give, Maui felt pressure release as he was sucessful in snapping off Tamatoa’s leg. Maui to pulled both his hook and new prize toward him. Tamatoa let out a roar of pain. “AGH! NOT AGAIN!” Maui jumped off of Tamatoa’s back, over his head and onto the sand. He waved Tamatoa’s broken off leg tauntingly. “That’s two!” Maui smiled. A furious Tamatoa lunged at Maui, who grabbed his foe the moment he was close enough by his claw. Maui lifted Tamatoa over his head, swinging the great beast in a circle before throwing him backwards into the water sitting on the opposite side of the island. Hades grinned from his view above the battlefield. “Holy SMOKES this guy has it all!” Hades’ chariot drifted down toward Maui, calling out to the victor. “Congrats, good sir!” Maui noticed Hades, and was immediately turned off by the sheer looks of the ebony clad god. “Uh...thanks?” Maui picked up his loot, his hook in one hand and Tamatoa’s leg in the other. “Always nice to meet a fan!” “A fan! Of course! Big fan!” Hades raised both hands. “In fact, I’m such a big fan, I wanna cut you a deal, Mister...ah…” ”Maui.” The demigod cut. How big of a fan could this guy be if he couldn’t even recall his name? “MAUI!” Hades grinned. “What a name! I can make you a big star, kid-o!” “Yeah...not interested.” Maui rolled his eyes, prepared to leave. “I know a little better than to talk to gods with flaming heads and evil looking flying buggies.” “Aw, C’MON, kid! Your face will be the talk of the town! Shoe deals, toys, merchandise, sports drink! And ALL after you take down Hercu--AAAAH!” Hades was interrupted by the impact of Tamatoa’s severed leg, which Maui had tossed up at his chariot. Hades fell to the sand below, landing with a hard slam, while his chariot, broken apart by the flying crab appendage, fell into the water. “That make my stance any clearer, Zippo?” Maui asserted. Hades pulled himself out of the sand, shooting a wicked look at Maui. His face slowly changed from pale blue to a fiery red, as the flames on his head burst into an inferno. ”GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!” The fires bursting from Hades’ body hardened the sand around him. The God of the Dead stared daggers at Maui. “And just who the TARTARUS do you think you are?!” “I think we’ve been over this.” Maui smiled, resting his hook over his shoulder. “Maui, Hero of Men.” “Confident, aren’t we?” Hades took a moment to cool down, though the expression of rage painted on his face never left. “Well, allow me to wipe that smirk off your FACE!” Hades lobbed a fireball from his hand in Maui’s direction, but the demigod nimbly dodged out of the way. “Comin’ atcha!” Maui raced toward Hades, holding his hook behind him as he ran. Hades carried on bowling the balls of fire, which Maui easily drifted back and forth out of the way of. Once Maui was close enough, he jumped into the air before swinging his fishing hook several times. Hades, expecting the mere, wooden tool to simply pass through him, was met with several stinging strikes from the mighty weapon, the last of which knocked him a few feet away on his back. Hades spat out one of his yellow teeth into the sand. “What…” Hades pulled himself back up. “Was THAT?!” Maui admired his own fishing hook. “Crafted by the Gods themselves! Perfect for knocking around the likes of you.” The exposition was enough to make Hades flare with rage again, releasing an incredible wave of heat energy. The sheer force was enough to lift Maui off of the ground, throwing him into the water. Hades crept toward the shore. “I’ll fish you out of there if I have to!” ”Not necessary!” Maui exclaimed as he leapt out of the water, this time in the shape of an immense shark. Hades watched the transformed Maui soar toward him, his jaws opened and ready to clamp around Hades’ face. Hades let out a slight yelp before he ducked, allowing Maui to pass over him and land back in the water behind him. Hades stood back up, feeling his hand to his head. “Woah, is my hair out?” He was startled to find his usual flame was doused by the water brought out by the leaping Maui. Maui burst out of the water again, this time leaving trickles of water behind him in the shape of a broad winged falcon. This sight was enough to anger Hades, to the point that his hair reignited. “Just FULL of tricks, aren’t ya?!” In his talons, Maui carried a huge rock from the sea floor. The now avian Maui spun in the air before flinging the rock at Hades. Hades conjured a ball of fire, throwing it at the rock, shattering it into smoldering pieces out of the air. “And one for the road!” Hades pointed a finger at Maui, releasing a flash of dark energy that made contact with Maui’s chest, sending him crashing down to the beach, rolling through the sand and changing back into his humanoid form. “I’ve had it up to here with you demigod hero types!” Hades raised his hand, snapping his fingers. The sands shifted beneath Maui, who struggled back to his feet. From under the beach, a horde of decaying skeletons began to claw their way to the surface. Maui backed away, sure to keep his hands on his hook. “What kind of puny god relies on an entourage when he has all that power at his fingertips?” Maui beat his hook against his hand in anticipation. “A smart one.” Hades pointed to Maui, directing the attention of the skeletons. “GET HIM!” The skeletal goons moaned as they reached for Maui, who promptly reduced the nearest one to a pile of bones with a single strike. “You wanna dance, boys? Let’s dance!” Maui spun his hook quickly, using the rotating hook to knock out a few other skeletons. Imitating the fire dances he had observed so many times, Maui swung and flung his hook in every direction, gracefully kicking and jumping over his own hook, not finishing a move without knocking out another skeleton. Outside the cluster of scattering bones, Hades rolled his eyes. “SO hard to find good help these days.” Hades rested his finger on his chin. “There’s NO gettin’ past that hook…” Maui clunked the last skeleton over the head, shattering it, before lifting his hook to the air triumphantly. “YEAH, baby!” Hades charged up a ball of fire, bigger than any previous, generated with both hands. “Hey, Fisher Boy! CATCH!” Hades let the massive fire ball fly at Maui, much too large for Maui to dodge this time. The demigod panicked, lifting his hook in front of himself for defense. The flame crashed into Maui, who felt the brunt of the heat blocked by his weapon. Maui’s feet were sent skidding back on the sand by the force of the attack. When the demigod opened his eyes, the hook was broken in two. Burnt at the ends by Hades’ attack, Maui held the handle. The Hero of Men turned around to find the other end, charred and broken behind him. Maui’s eyes widened in disbelief.
((cut music)) “N-no!” Maui desperately grabbed the broken off piece. “No! NO!” “Tough break, kido.” Hades snidely smiled. “It really could’ve gone the other way!” Maui turned around, enraged with Hades. “YOU!” The demigod ran at Hades, trying to grab and punch him with his bare hands. Maui’s hands simply passed through the black smoke that composed Hades’ body as he flailed in anguish. Hades held still as Maui exhausted himself in vain. “Man, oh man, you really are NOTHIN’ without that hook, huh?” Hades telekinetically lifted Maui off of the ground, throwing him backwards with a forceful arm gesture. Maui landed with incredible impact on the ground. “You could’ve had all the adoring fans you could’ve asked for! But you decided to get snippy!” Hades yelled. “Now you’ve got NOTHING!” Maui climbed up to his knees, looking down at his empty hands. “Nothing…” “How will you be any use to anyone without that hook?” Hades pressed on. “Crafted by the Gods? Probably not easy to replace...I guess that means you’re out of a day job!” A glint of despair was apparent in Maui’s eyes as he stood up, despondent, and positive anyone that once adored him would no longer look at him the same way. (music shift: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rtk6Ept8DE ))
“Oh wait!” Hades smiled facetiously. “I almost forgot! I’m a God! And a Mighty Fishing Hook ain’t hard at all for me to whip up!” Hades extended his pale arm toward Maui, who looked up at the towering God with fear for the first time in the midst of their encounter. “All you gotta do...is accept my offer.” Maui looked at Hades’ hand, before looking back up at Hades. Maui begrudgingly lifted his own hand, and shook with Hades’. The demigod clenched in sorrow the moment he felt Hades’ cold skin. Hades’ jagged teeth connected in a sinister grin, as the folded hands of the two gods created an immense light. Instantaneously, Maui felt the life drained from him. Starting at Hades’ palm and crawling up Maui’s arm was a dark energy that coated the demigod. Maui’s skin was dyed charcoal black, his tattoos turning the same shade of bright blue that matched Hades’ blazes atop his head. Maui’s eyes were forced shut by the overwhelming power overtaking him. When they reopened, all that remained of the demigod’s vibrance was gone, replaced with a vacant, blue glow. Hades released his grip, admiring his new warrior. KO Hades snapped his fingers, rematerializing his chariot “Hope aboard, my new champion! We’ve got work to do!” A new fishing hook materialized in the corrupted Maui’s hand. Hades chuckled. “Let’s see Jerkules contend with him…”
((victory circle theme: www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBDh3URp8Is )) Between Maui’s immense strength and experience and Hades’ snide trickery and wide range of attacks, this battle easily could have gone either way. However, Hades had the wits and means to ultimately finish the job in the end. Maui’s close range combat and shapeshifting kept Hades on his toes, but Hades defensive measures and long range attacks were more than enough to keep his opponent at bay. Maui’s strength was far more than Hades could deal with, easily rivaling Hercules, but Hades’ ability to become intangible made most of his physical attacks moot. Maui’s best bet lied with his Mighty Fishing Hook, a weapon crafted by Gods that could harm Hades, but considering the Hook could be broken by a single fireball thrown by Te Ka, there was little doubt Hades could do the same. Maui is something of a one trick pony, and lost many of his powers such as shapeshifting and much of his long range combat when he lost his hook. From there, it was a fairly easy victory for Hades, who displays expertise in manipulating broken egos such as Maui’s. Hades is extremely capable of outright robbing DemiGods of their powers (as he precisely did to Hercules), meaning all he needed was an opportunity to exploit Maui in a moment of weakness, which the destruction of his hook easily provided. The winner...is Hades

Fight to Win: Dave’s Cut - King Dedede Vs Fat Princess
Hello ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Dave’s Cut, where there’s no time for research or analysis! In today’s battle--the destructive despots of Nintendo and Sony square off--King Dedede of Dreamland against the aptly Fat Princess of Titania!
cue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvjA3SxvSQc
Lounging on his immense throne, the de facto King of Dreamland had just grinned through the entire birthday song his massive choir of Waddle Dees had put together. Dedede twiddled his glove clad flippers with anticipation. He knew what was coming next. A crowd of his Waddle Dee soldiers gingerly gathered beneath a massive plate, topped with a plate cover that Dedede knew hid his anxiously anticipated birthday cake. The monarch stood from his throne, squawking as he cleared his throat. “As the old saying goes…” he declared. “Let them eat cake!” As a group, the Waddle Dees lifted the massive cover off of the plate. Dedede’s eyes widened, expecting a cake that at least reached the ceiling...but none was in such periphery. His gaze lowered down to the surface of the plate, expecting a cake a tier lower, and lower. “WHO ARE YOU?!” Sitting atop the plate was not a cake at all, but a rotund looking girl in a pink gown. The young lass wore a crown on her head and was licking frosting off of her fingers. “Your chefs make a good cake!” the Princess declared. “I’ll take three more to go...maybe an extra for the ride back to my kingdom!” King Dedede’s face turned beet red as he stomped hard enough to knock over his throne. “You’re NOT goin’ back to your kingdom if I’ve got anything to do with it!” Understanding their King’s cue, two of the Waddle Dees unveiled their King’s trademark hammer from a hidden compartment where his throne once sat. The King’s minions, with a bit of trouble, threw the King his weapon, which he caught with gusto before setting his sights on she who ate his cake. The Princess reached around her dress, searching for her own weapon. “Ooh, a fight! All the better to work off all that cake, anyways…” The heiress unveiled a pink scepter. “Bring it on, you ruffian!” FIGHT! Dedede lunged down from his throne podium, swinging his hammer. The Princess quickly hopped from her place on the gigantic plate. With no time to reposition his place of landing, Dedede promptly crashed into the plate, knocking every ill fated Waddle Dee below out cold. The Princess had scurried a few feet away by this point, giggling at her clumsy foe, while Dedede picked himself up from the mess. The avian king picked up one of his unconscious Waddle Dee warriors, threw it into the air, and hit it with his hammer on its way back down, sending the round creature flying at the Princess, hitting her in the face with incredible force. Dedede laughed as he picked up a second Waddle Dee, repeating the process of sending them flying like baseballs. The Princess lifted her skirt as she ran out of the path of the oncoming, projectile creatures. “That’s no way to treat your servants!” The Princess said to Dedede, who, with a crooked smile, was now sending them forward off the floor where they laid like golf balls. Princess promptly swung her scepter with great elegance, striking the Waddle Dee headed for her face and sending it back to Dedede, striking the King in his stomach. “Made ya flinch!” The Princess cheered as she rushed at her foe, and once near, unleashing a barrage of attacks from her scepter. Dedede felt his beak bruise before one last pink, sparkling strike sent him rolling backwards. Dedede shook off the blow, tightening his grip on his hammer. “If you love cake so much, I’ll make you into a big, flat pancake!” Dedede swung his hammer around in an arc before bringing it down above the Princess’ head. The massive weapon slammed into Princess’ face, sending her flying backwards into a table. The crashing Princess broke it in half and sent all of the Waddle Doos and Poppy Bros sitting at the table flying in every direction. Dedede, smiling with satisfaction at the attack, unveiled another one of his subject species, the Gordo, a steel, spherical beast covered in spikes that fit in the palm of Dedede’s hands. The Princess dizzily pried herself from the remains of the table in time to see her opponent preparring is new attack. “Catch!” Dedede lobbed the Gordo upward before knocking it forward with a beat of his hammer, sending it bouncing toward the Princess, who placed her hands on her hips in response. “ABS OF STEEL!” The princess puffed out her midsection. As the Gordo made contact, it ricocheted off of its target and, eyes agape, bounced rapidly about the throne room. Everyone in the room ducked as the barbed ball crashed through tables and chairs and off of walls. King Dedede felt his hat swept off of his head by the flying Gordo, much to his surprise, before the Gordo flew out a castle window, causing the entire castle to shake when it hit the ground outside.. “Someone wasn’t ready for this jelly!” The Princess giggled as she ran at the disoriented King Dedede, crashing into him with her elbow. “The Princess always wins!” The pink clad heiress announced as she rotated in place, twirling her scepter along with herself, creating a pink whirlwind as she turned. Dedede felt himself uncontrollably pulled toward the pastel tornado, releasing deep throated squawks as he felt himself pulled off of the ground. “Bye bye!” The princess, by jumping up and back down on the ground with immense force, scattered the wind, sending Dedede flying and crashing out of the ceiling of his own castle. KO All of the Waddle Dees looked up at there Dedede had been sent, before looking back down at the enigmatic Princess, who snapped her fingers. “So? Where are those cakes I requested?!”
The winner is...Fat Princess

Fight to Win - Zod Vs Frieza
A battle of intergalactic conquerors--in a battle of power and hubris as these two possess, you either win or you die.
Some will wage war and destroy planets, killing millions and forcing all to bend knee. Conquerors of a galactic level.
Zod, the Phantom Zone’s breakout master of war
Frieza, he who destroyed Planet Vegeta
When everyday prisons can’t hold a particularly dangerous, otherworldly force, that won’t stop Superman from finding a way to lock up anyone trying to threaten mankind. To that end, he utilized the Phantom Zone; an interdimensional rift where the most gruesome and unruly of aliens remain, where they can’t hurt people.
However, the Phantom Zone has one very notable, repeated escapee; a Kryptonian with a history with Superman’s father, Jor-El, and an immense power matched only by his ego; Zod.
Name: Dru-Zod Age: Not documented Height: 6’3” (190 cm) Weight: 230 lbs. (104 kg) Homeland: Krypton Race: Kryptonian Alias: General Zod Former Kryptonian War General When Zod escaped from the Phantom Zone, he found Krypton was destroyed, and instead settled for conquering Superman’s new, adopted home, Earth. As soon as the Last Son of Krypton is fallen, Zod will spread his influence until the entire galaxy kneels before Zod.
Like all Kryptonians beneath a Yellow Sun, Zod possesses a wide range of superhuman abilities. He’s capable of flight, super strength, speed, advanced hearing, freezing breath, heat vision, and accelerated healing. On his A-Game, Zod has been shown to trade blows and be more than a match for Superman in physical combat, able to knock him great distances with physical blows. He can easily pick up pieces of a broken Kryptonian spaceship to use as a melee weapon, and his heat vision can slice deadly robots to bits in mere moments.
Though what allows Zod to stand out among other Kryptonian combatants is his military experience. Zod was a general of war, and as such, has extensive knowledge of politics and battle strategy. He excels at zeroing in on a foe’s weakness and exploiting it, including many times where he has taken advantage of Superman’s humanity, or the collective fear of humanity. His training in hand to hand combat has allowed him to even best Brainiac in close quarters.
Zod is fast, able to clear the distance from Earth to the Moon in mere seconds (238, 900 miles). Speaking of which, we know that because Injustice sees him fly a foe to the moon, and punch them directly through it. The moon is 2,159 miles, and weighs well beyond 73.5 million million million metric tons.
Zod was able to endure direct impact from Superman’s heat vision to his head, (which is impressive considering Superman’s heat vision can melt one’s brain at thin signatures), and can keep fighting after being shoved through building after structure in battle with his super strong fellow Kryptonian.
Zod also carries a Kryptionian rifle--one shot of which is capable of killing another Kryptonian. The ammunition can be loaded to travel both as a slow and quickly moving projectile for different situations.
It does stand to president, however, that Kryptonians grow stronger the longer they’re under the sun. Because Zod takes such frequent trips to the Phantom Zone, his power often resets, meaning over the years, he hasn’t compiled nearly as much overall strength as Superman. He’s also an egomaniac, and his tremendously forward nature has lead him into hot water more than once.
However, the Kryptonian General has several victories (read: war crimes) beneath his belt, and his immense decoration could not be farther from unearned.
The Dragon Balls--seven mystical artifacts that, when gathered, will summon the patron eternal dragon of the planet of their origin, who will, in turn, grant the gatherer one wish. Those adventurous enough to seek them out wager life and limb for a chance at having their greatest wish come true.
Some desire wealth, others strength, or even the revival of a lost loved one. However, one evil mastermind sought to make a wish for eternal life, so his reign over the galaxy would be ubiquitous with time itself, and his name was Frieza.
Name: Frieza Age: 70< Height: 4’11” (150 cm) Weight: Not documented Race: Frost Demon Homeland: Unknown Alias: Lord Frieza, Mecha-Frieza Intergalactic Conqueror Relentless and entitled, Frieza won’t rest until every planet is beneath his thumb. Gathering soldiers from every planet he invades and destroys, Frieza seeks the Dragon Balls in order to wish for eternal life, so he may destroy and plunder for all time--putting him at odds with Goku and the Z-Fighters.
While Frieza leaves most of this process to his ever loyal soldiers, he’s no pushover by any means. He can hit someone with his tail hard enough to crash them into the earth, breaking the surface. He’s fast enough to keep pace with, in movement and striking, with the super fast likes of Goku and Vegeta to boot. Frieza also has powerful telekinesis, which can command with enough force to push an ill fated foe forcefully through the vacuum of space.
Like most Dragon Ball characters, Frieza can harness his ki energy into a personal and preferred method of projectile attack. Frieza’s manifests as bright purple, which he often fires as a razor thin beam out of the tip of his finger he aptly calls the Death Beam. This technique can pierce through any matter of armor and flesh, cutting through with great precision--enough so to kill Vegeta with a single shot to his heart.
Frieza has also been known to shape his ki into other attacks, such as the spherical Death Comet, which has a wider range but less precision that the Death Beam. The Death Wave is a blade shaped attack that can create a noticeable fissure in the earth of Planet Namek, and the Death Saucer is a disc of energy so deadly, not even Frieza himself is safe from the razor’s edge. Frieza’s ultimate technique, however, is the Death Ball. If allowed to charge up a sphere of ki energy the size of a small moon, the Death Ball is capable of destroying entire planets.
Speaking of planetary destruction, Frieza has SURVIVED IT. After his reckless fighting lead him to be disemboweled by his own Death Saucer, Frieza endured the detonation of Planet Namek--point blank from the planet’s core. If Namek’s core is comparable to earth’s, Frieza survived the explosion of a 10,800 degree surface.
Most recently, Frieza discovered his strongest form; Golden Frieza, which outclasses Goku and Vegeta’s Super Saiyan Blue forms. According to Old Kai, the mere colliding of Golden Frieza’s fist with Goku’s could destroy an entire 7th Universe (about the size of the one we live in).
Sadly, Frieza is impatient and temperamental. He can’t always carry on fighting and manage his own stamina, his debut as Golden Frieza cut short simply because he passed out from over exertion. While meticulous and shrewd, Frieza can’t be bothered past the bare minimum, and has put exactly this degree of effort into his training and attacks.
However, Frieza’s brutality and power are more than enough to carry him through most situations he finds himself in. He’s stubborn, adamant not to die, and has his eye on every marble in the galaxy.
The galaxy just ain’t big enough for the two of ‘em. Let’s settle who rules the stars and who clears out.
Location: Planet Namek

Frieza’s saucer shaped choice of intergalactic teleportation made a loud hiss as its air jets blew the planet Namek’s fauna and grass about. As the ship’s door opened, out deployed several rifle toting soldiers, clad in the trademark armor all of Lord Frieza’s elite guards wore. Once all of the soldiers were on the ground, Frieza followed, his arms crossed, an impatient look in his eye. “Well? Is it here?” Frieza quickly demanded. “I’ll be quite disappointed if the radar was wrong.” The sentiment of Frieza’s displeasure was enough to send his soldiers in a hurried tizzy--before one spoke up. “H-here, Lord Frieza!” One of his soldiers exclaimed, lifting the orange Dragon Ball high into the air, the orange stone reflecting sunlight. “Excellent…” Frieza rubbed his chin with consideration, envisioning the wish he will make once all seven of the treasures are gathered. Behind him, one of Frieza’s soldiers reached for his scouter device over his eye. “My scouter...it’s picking up some power level off the charts!” Were the soldier’s last words before his body was crushed by the sudden impact of a second space ship--this one much smaller and more akin to what Frieza thought of as an escape pod. Frieza looked over to the new arrival, watching as the pod opened to reveal a humanoid looking fellow, his face lined by the beginnings of a brown beard. “A new planet…” The stranger said as he emerged from his pod. “A new population, to kneel before ZOD!” Frieza stepped toward the Kryptonian, his arms still crossed. “Kneel before you? My, how presumptuous…” The galactic overlord’s tone shifted as he neared Zod, enough to prompt the remaining crowd of soldiers to back away from both of them. “There’s always one.” Zod approached Frieza himself. “One I must make an example of.” FIGHT Frieza and Zod’s respective, steady strolls became mad dashes at one another, met at the middle, their hands tightly gripping one another. Both alien overlords pushed at one another, Frieza’s purple aura shoving against the sheer heat cone produced around Zod. Zod pulled upward with both arms, throwing Frieza up into the air, before flying straight up, crashing his head directly into Frieza on his way up, sending Frieza up further upon impact. Frieza shook the blow off, before looking up to see Zod, still flying upward, before stopping mid air. “It’s useless to resist!” Zod chuckled, as his eyes glowed bright red, blasts of heat vision shooting down toward Frieza. Frieza was quick to fly out of the attack’s path. “How rude!” Frieza extended a single finger, sending a barrage of his razor thin Death Beam attacks speeding upward at Zod. Zod looped around the energy blasts, careening down into Frieza, his shoulder out. He crashed into Frieza, who guard with his own arm. The two ascended into the air, pushing against one another and making direct and point blank eye contact. Zod smirked as he released another flare of his heat vision, shooting directly into Frieza’s eyes. The alien conqueror groaned in pain as he was blown back by the attack. “Checkmate!” Zod lifted both of his arms, before reaching to grab his opponent. Before he could grasp the alien’s body, Zod found that his foe had disappeared from sight. Zod choked in confusion before he could notice Frieza reappear behind him. “What a pity.” Frieza rotated quickly in the air, whipping his tail around and slamming it into Zod with incredible force. The Kryptonian general was flung downward, sent crashing into the Namekian earth. Frieza chuckled as he lowered himself from the air, his feet planted firmly on the ground, he stepped toward Zod, who was picking himself up out of the rubble. “I didn’t expect you to survive…” Frieza admitted. Zod, retaining his composure with a quick blow to his own face, reached below his feet. The Kryptonian began picking up a particularly large chunk of earth out of the dirt where he had landed. By the time his makeshift projectile was above his head, the shadow cast by it loomed over Frieza. “It’ll take more than that to make Zod kneel!” Zod exclaimed before throwing the cluster of earth in Frieza’s direction. “Child’s play.” Frieza commented as his bright pink ki energy shined on his finger tip. He released a second barrage of Death Beams that, bit by bit, reduced the stone to rubble out of the air. “This is growing tiresome…” For the first time over the course of the battle, the ki Frieza conjured surrounded his entire hand. He let the Death Wave barrel at Zod, crashing through the earth as it coasted. Zod reached around his back, unlatching his Kryptonian Rifle. He took a moment to aim as the barrel of his weapon extended. Zod, with great care, pulled the trigger, sending out bolts of plasma that intercepted Frieza’s attack, causing it to detonate prematurely. “I hate an uncooperative plaything!” Frieza next generated his Death Saucers, one spinning above each hand. “DIE!” Frieza sent both discs flying at Zod, who took a deep breath in response. Zod inhaled, and then exhaled, releasing a gust of super breath--traveling with all the force of a hurricane. The Death Saucers were stopped in their tracks and sent back at Frieza. Frieza’s eyes widened. While he was able to step out of the way of the first disc, the second made contact with his arm, slicing into his upper arm, causing his purple blood to spurt out. Frieza growled in pain, reaching for his wound. “I gave you a chance to kneel!” Zod flew toward Frieza, who was paused by his pain, gripping his neck once he was close enough. Zod lifted off into the air, taking Frieza with him and choking him before swinging him around. Frieza couldn’t let an anguished yell to escape his throat as Zod, several feet in the air, turned his foe upside down. Zod forced Frieza back downward, smashing the conqueror into the ground. The general then fell to his knees, looking down at his grounded opponent. “There is but one fate for those who refuse to kneel!” Zod raised his fist, slamming it into Frieza’s head, before raising the opposite and repeating the process, forcing Frieza further into the dirt with each punch. After six punches, Frieza was no longer struggling. Zod drifted up into the air, above Frieza, before his eyes emitted a massive blaze of heat vision. The lasers struck Frieza where he was planted, creating an immense explosion below Zod. Dirt and soil kicked upward among the fire, engulfing Frieza. “Not even worth bragging about.” Zod scoffed. Zod, still hovering, turned around. His hands folded behind his back, Zod was prepared to move elsewhere, before he noticed Namek shake violently. The clear waters rippled and serene grasslands quaked as the crater created by Zod’s assault on Frieza erupted, a golden light cutting through. Frieza rose from the where he was beaten down, his pale flesh now a glimmering gold. (music shift: www.youtube.com/watch?v=khk5V6L8Vos )) “Not many have pushed me to this limit.” Frieza stated, his eyes locking to Zod’s. “Consider this an honor.” Zod released a straight blast of heat vision at his foe, who quickly teleported out of the attack’s path. Frieza reappeared behind Zod, quickly jamming his knee into the Kryptonian’s back. Frieza was quick to disappear again, reappearing in front of Zod and punching him in his face, breaking his nose. Frieza left sight and reentered several times, each time at a different angle around from which he could strike, creating a new dent in Zod’s armor each time. “That’s...ENOUGH!” Zod attempted to swing his arm full circle to strike Frieza, but he wasn’t quick enough to track the tyrant, who had reappeared directly in front of his face, albeit facing the opposite direction. Without turning around to face Zod, Frieza raised a single arm, slamming Zod with the back of his hand. Still looking into the distance, Frieza lifted his tail above Zod’s head and brought it down, sending Zod hurdling into the waters of Namek. The waters settled after the impact of his body. Frieza eyed the waters, waiting for Zod to reappear. He was instead treated to the sight of the entire body of water boiling, turning bright red, the source of radiation seeming to be where Zod had landed. Out of the red, hot waters shot an array of heat rays, shooting with enough force to knock Frieza out of the air. Frieza found himself in a nosedive for the ground below. Zod emerged from the water, trudging toward the grounded Frieza, his eyes still glowing red. “I am a champion of war!” Zod barked. “And I will direct every year of experience I have in the art unto YOU!” Frieza rose back to his feet, throwing back both of his arms, causing his golden aura to flare. Zod ran at Frieza, surprising the alien quickly enough to grab ahold of his tail. Zod pulled Frieza high above his head by his tail, and slammed him into the ground, to his left, and then his right, leaving imprints on Namek with every swing. “Fatal mistake…” Frieza flexed his tail, seizing control by wrapping it around Zod, tightly constricting his chest with it. With the Kryptonian tied down, Frieza returned to his feet, taking the time to strike his opponent while he couldn’t move. After creating two more bruises on Zod’s face with his bare hands, Frieza loosened his tail’s grip on the General, turning around and exposing his opponent to a beacon of ki energy shooting from his hands. Zod was sent flying backwards by the attack, his crashing body creating further chunks of debris around both combatants. Zod got back up once more, trying to shake off the blow, now bleeding out the assault. Frieza lifted both of his arms, concentrating his ki. “I’ll create a proper tomb for you!” Frieza lifted two of the largest rocks in sight, left over by the impacts of their battle, with his telekinesis. With a quick swing of his arm, Frieza forced both rocks into Zod from the left and right. The Kryptonian extended both of his arms, catching both rocks with his hands, pushing back against Frieza’s attack. Frieza’s energy allowed him to push back just as hard, and with mere motions of his hands, he was able to force the rocks against Zod. Before long, Zod could not push back any longer, and found himself smashed between the two stones. “And THIS is your cremation!” Frieza lifted off into the air, pointing a single finger high above himself. On the tip of his finger, a cluster of dark red and purple energy trickled and formed. It expanded as Frieza drew more and more power into the attack. Before long, the Death Ball, a sphere of energy about the size of the moon, was complete. Frieza, smiling wickedly, threw the Death Ball down onto Namek, where Zod was encased. The crashing ball created an immense explosion, blasting Namek’s earth into a dried crust as the bloody red energy created an immense tremor, sending rocks and rubble rolling about the field of battle. When the blazes cleared, there was only ash and molten stone and veins remaining. Frieza drifted down back to the ground, his golden aura slowly dissipating. When he landed, his skin returned to its prior state, as he fell to one knee with a deep sigh. “That form...it still leaves me drained.” Frieza recollected himself, his tail waving back and forth as he reclaimed the feeling in the places Zod struck him. “Lord Frieza! We found you!” Frieza was a bit surprised--he hadn’t realized how far Zod had moved him from where they began. His soldiers had finally tracked him down. “We followed your energy readings--you look like you need help!” Two of Frieza’s soldiers began to help him up. “We’ll prepare you a medical machine…” Frieza heard a slight crumbling noise. He pushed the two soldiers off of himself, standing up tall again. From within the mounds of dirt, Zod burst out, a wicked look in his eye. Bloodied and beyond fatigued, Zod breathed heavily, before lunging at one of Frieza’s men. Pressing his chest to the soldier’s back and tightly grabbing him from behind, Zod reloaded his Kryptonian rifle, pressing the barrel to the soldier’s head. The rest of the squadron gasped, while Frieza looked on at the scene. “Make one move...and your bodyguard dies!” Zod explained between labored breaths. Everyone on the scene tensed up from anxiety. Frieza’s eyes did not fall from Zod. His expression unchanging, Frieza lifted a single finger, and shot out one last Death Beam. The thread thin stream of ki extended from his finger into the heart of his apprehended soldier, and then directly into Zod’s behind him. A splash of blood escaped Zod’s mouth, as he and the the once terrified soldier he so tightly gripped fell over, dead.
KO The rest of the soldiers gaped at the sight their lord had created. Frieza turned to his men. “Well, don’t just stand there.” He insisted. “You have two bodies to dispose of, don’t you?”
((Victory circle music: www.youtube.com/watch?v=sH2qYnUfjIc )) Zod was an imposing threat with his military training and physical prowess, but not enough so to keep pace with Frieza’s wide range of Ki energy attacks and absurd tenacity. While Zod could likely outfox Frieza in a close up brawl, Frieza had a counter for just about everything. Punching a hole straight through the moon is extremely impressive, but Frieza’s Death Ball, not even in his strongest form, can destroy an entire planet. And as proven by his survival of Namek’s destruction, Frieza can endure just as much as he can dish out. Zod was faster than Frieza, but Frieza’s Afterimage teleportation rendered this moot, and just as well, allowed Frieza to distance himself from Zod any time he needed, leaving the Kryptonian little chance to overpower him physically, and himself plenty of time to overwhelm him with longer range techniques. Theoretically, any Kryptonian can grow infinitely strong underneath a yellow sun, but we’ve never seen Zod reach a level the likes of Superman has, due to his repeated Phantom Zone sentences, which, effectively, render his power back to zero. Frieza, on the other hand, can reach the highest potential of his species in his Golden form. Even if Old Kai’s statement on Frieza’s power (able to break a universe) is hyperbole, the divide in raw power is very clear. But most importantly, Zod has a history of victory through manipulation. Rather than out muscle even the likes of Superman, Zod has been known to take advantage of his surroundings and exploit the moralities of the heroes he faces--such as hold a child hostage or threatening to kill an innocent. This is Zod’s most common method of escape or pushing Superman to his limit. Luckily for Frieza, the wicked emperor is cold as ice and nearly impossible to coax into any kind of submission. The winner...is Frieza

Fight to Win: Dave’s Cut - Bill Cipher Vs Shuma Gorath
Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Dave’s Cut! Where there’s just no time for research or analysis! Today Shuma Gorath and Bill Cipher are face to face! Or...EYE TO EYE!........EYE TO EYE!.................EYE TO
Cue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=117oj9rQ7pU
The single, gaping eye of Bill Cipher stared down at the calamitous hole of fire that was once Gravity Falls. “I finally did it! This town will be the first of many on my Tour of Weirdness!” The triangular demon hovered down onto a throne of discarded skulls and bones, where he lounged, a martini glass of red ooze materializing in his hand. “And the discordant screams of the innocent are the perfect motif to my victory!” ”You mean MY victory!” Bill’s eye widened, bursting off of his seat. “Who’s there?!” Above Bill, a circular rift opened in the air. Out of the portal, rather sloppily, a cluster of green, quivering tentacles emerged. When the beast slithered upward, it stared up at Bill with no facial features outside a single, unnervingly poignant eye. ”I should thank you for reserving this realm for me. Your death will be painless when I end this world!” An incredibly raspy voice echoed. Bill could hardly tell if the voice was physically emitting from the tentacled beast, or if it was using telepathy to send a message. The unnerving nature of the creature was enough to make Bill question it’s very level of presence. “Why would you wanna go and end this word?!” Bill lifted both arms. “There’s SO much weird-ness that could be caused!” The tentacled monster’s eye narrowed. “You are showing a great deal of petulance, you welp. There is but one fate for those who defy Shuma Gorath!” “I’ll take that as a challenge!” Bill cracked his knuckles. “My Hench-Maniacs are gonna chow down on extra dimensional calamari tonight!” FIGHT! One of the points of his triangular body spinning like a drill, Bill rushed at Shuma Gorath, who quickly attached his slime coated tentacles to the ground and pulled himself out of the way. With his newly gained distance, Shuma whipped out his tentacles, lashing Bill across his body several times. The last swing of his gelatinous arm sent Bill veering backwards several feet. “Here’s LOOKIN’ ATCHA!” Bill’s eye widened before it flashed bright red, releasing a ray of hot, red energy. Shuma Gorath let out an earsplitting wretch as the blazing hot ray made his skin boil. Two of his tentacles were seared right off. “Can’t take the heat, get out of the Weirdmageddon, old timer!” Bill laughed, the yellow bricks making up his body shifting about. Shuma Gorath retracted his remaining tentacles into his spherical body. In their place, spikes jutted outward. The demon closed his eye before his body bounced down and rolled at Bill. His razor sharp quills extended, Shuma Gorath struck Bill in his midsection before bounding off, richoting off of a building, sending him back in Bill’s direction. “I see how you’re playing!” Bill materialized a jet black baseball bat in his hands, swinging it with great force once Shuma Gorath was close to him. Shuma Gorath shot in the opposite direction again. ”You’ll have to do better than that!” Shuma Gorath, sent crashing into another building by Bill, intentionally sped himself up, spinning and grinding into the building and sending plaster and concrete out from around himself. The chunks of blunt material flew into Bill at great speeds, leaving dents in his body. ”AH! Watch that!” Shuma Gorath, tentacles and all, unfurled from the building he nestled himself in, the spikes coating him retracting. “You are FAR out of your league, you novice!” Shuma Gorath urged his foe. “Consider THIS my big time debut!” The bricks making up Bill’s body shifted about once more before they telepathically removed themselves from his body. With a swift hand motion, Bill sent the stones flying at Shuma Gorath. The storm of telepathically charged bricks traveled at such speed, they flashed on fire halfway through the distance toward their target. “How quaint!” Shuma Gorath extended his tentacles, and with pinpoint accuracy, swatted every brick racing toward him out of his way, each tentacles from around his form moving just quickly enough to keep his body safe. “Y’know, I’m not sure it’s fair you’ve got extra appendages!” Bill lifted both of his arms. “Lemme level the playing field!” Around Bill’s figure, several additional limbs extended about his body. “Don’t disappoint me!” Shuma Gorath expanded all of his tentacles, lashing them out at Bill, who promptly met each with his many, new fists. The two met each other's strikes, increasing speed rapidly. Shuma Gorath’s green tendrils began to resemble blurs lashing and looping about Bill’s arms. “YOU CAN’T KEEP THIS UP FOREVER!” Bill’s single eye curved into a scowl, until he felt, one by one, each of his arms lose feeling and tighten. Bill looked around to realize that each of his additional arms were tightly bound, wrapped up by Shuma Gorath’s tentacles. The eyes of both demons gazed into one another. “I tire of this song and dance.” Shuma Gorath’s eye glowed, as a blast of demonic energy flashed, directly into Bill’s own from point blank distance. When the light cleared, Bill Cipher was utterly petrified in grey stone. Shuma Gorath released his grip. “Waste of flesh!” Shuma Gorath snickered before shattering Bill’s body with a powerful lash of his tentacle. KO Shuma Gorath looked down, his single eye giving a facetious look at the pieces of his foe. “Amateur hour.”
The winner is...Shuma Gorath

Fight to Win - Sailor Moon Vs Lina Inverse
It’s a girls’ night out surrounded by myth and magic! Who will cast the right spell and claim victory?
Might and weapons are good for some, but sometimes all one needs to win out is a healthy dose of magic.
Like Sailor Moon, Princess of the Moon Kingdom
And Lina Inverse, bane of bandits and monsters everywhere.
I’m Tommy the Bomb-Y, and it’s my pleasure to pit fiction’s champions against one another, in a
FIGHT!
TO!
WIN!
The Moon Kingdom, a prosperous and ethereal monarchy lead by the noble and beautiful Queen Serenity, alongside her noble Sailor Guardians.
However, no paradise could last forever, and disaster struck. Serenity’s final wish was for her guardians to be reincarnated as normal girls who could enjoy a peaceful life in the twentieth century. Included in this promise was her own daughter, who would find herself thrust into her past life as Sailor Moon.
Name: Usagi Tsukino Age: 16 Height: 4’11” (150 cm) Weight: 110 lbs. (50 kg) Race: Human (reincarnated Moon Kingdom denizen) Homeland: Japan Alias: Sailor Moon Neo Queen of the Moon Kingdom Usagi Tsukino was living a normal life until the enemies that destroyed the Moon Kingdom once resurfaced, causing her powers and identity as the Princess of the Moon Kingdom, Sailor Moon, to awaken. With her newfound magic powers, Sailor Moon leads her team of fellow reincarnated Sailor Guardians into battle against the forces of evil.
...Unfortunately it would take a lot of work to discipline her into a proper warrior. Before she knew of her powers, Usagi’s disposition was that of a ‘clumsy crybaby’. However, her magic amplified even that. Through her cries, Sailor Moon is capable of emitting Supersonic Waves, which can incapacitate foes and even knock them unconcious. The closest comparison to a real life sound doing such a thing is a horn made by a Dutch acoustic facility made for the purpose of being capable of killing a human. The sound produced was that of 154 decibels, tantamount to standing near several jets during lift off.
Sailor Moon’s favorite weapon is her Moon Tiara, which she wears at all times and can remove to use as a throwing weapon that can destroy most Monsters of the Week she faces in a single shot. Virus monsters, fire monsters, snow monsters, any kind of monster is cut through like butter. She also has her Moon Rod, which uses the Moon Princess Halation Attack, blasting a stream of moonlight that knocks out most foes. While primarily used to purify cursed and bewitched civilians, it has the power to be purely offensive and destroy a foe if needed.
Despite her incredibly small stature, Sailor Moon’s power has also gifted her greatly in the area of defense. In battle with Rubeus of the Black Moon Clan, Sailor Moon found herself exposed to Rubeus’ ability to alter gravity. Rubeus had exposed Sailor Moon to gravity levels that forced her to the ground in a manner of seconds. While a normal human would no doubt be crushed to death under such pressure, Sailor Moon not only survived, but got back on her feet to fight soon after. This would mean she’s capable of lifting many times her own body weight.
Sailor Moon also displays incredible travel speed. She’s shown to be able to travel to different planets of the solar system with incredible speed. This is likely thanks to Sailor Teleport. Combined with the powerful Sailor Moon Kick, she can create a very distracting and devastating tactic.
And what’s a magical girl without a transformation? Sailor Moon can transform into Super Sailor Moon to tap into superior magic, such as the Moon Spiral Heart Attack and the Ranbow Moon Heart Ache. Sailor Moon can even take her transformation a step further into Eternal Sailor Moon, tapping into the vast magic power and wisdom of her future self, Neo Queen Serenity. In this form, Sailor Moon gains her final weapon, the Moon Power Tiare. This weapon carries Sailor Moon’s most powerful attack, Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss.
Despite her incredible power, Sailor Moon is still incredibly young. She’s inexperienced, immature, and be driven to act impulsively or throw a tantrum in the middle of battle at her worst. But her, magic has proved to be enough to destroy foes such as Queen Beryl, who displayed enough power to destroy the world. If this clumsy crybaby can keep a stiff upper lip and try her hardest, she can give any number of foes a double dose of Girl Power.
The Lord of Nightmares--the ultimate being that looms over four different worlds. Each world is inhabited by two races; Gods and Monsters, and on each world, these beings war without end.
It is said that the victory of the Gods will bring peace, and the victory of the monsters will bring destruction unending. Passed down by both gods and monsters is magic, to be practiced by humans bold enough to take it up; mages, such as Lina Inverse.
Name: Lina Inverse Age: 18 Height: 5’1” (155 cm) Weight: Not documented Homeland: Zephilia Race: Human-Mage Alias: Lina the Pink, Bandit Killer Enemy of All Living Things By the age of 14, Lina was already famous around the world for her mastery of magic. Motivated by her desire to step out of the shadow of her older sister, Lina sets out. Where treasure is to be found, she’ll take it. Where there are bandits, she’ll make them pay for their crimes, and where there are monsters, victory shall be hers!
Lina is commonly referred to as a genius in the art of magic, and this is not hyperbole. She has mastered the dark and light arts, from offensive attack spells to shamanism. Although proficient in the art, her young age and small stature means using a great deal of magic takes a great physical toll on her, and she usually has to eat copious amounts of food to compensate.
Lina’s trademark method of destruction is the Dragon Slave, a massive gust of fire that’ll reduce most foes unlucky enough to stand in its path to a smoking pile of ash. The attack contained enough to power to destroy a small mountain, meaning it can roughly be equated in force to about 100 tons of TNT. The attack has been known to wipe out entire cities if Lina is careless.
For close range combat, Lina can cast the Ragna Blade, a melee weapon composed of magic straight from the Nightmare King. Wielded like a sword, it is capable of one-shotting foes such as the wicked Kanzel, and is perfect for getting up close and personal with a foe that doesn’t want to, no matter how much they tower over Lina.
Lina can further enhance her power with the Demon Blood Talisman, augmenting herself with four universal dark lord destroyers. This also allows her access to even more spells, like the deadly Flare Arrow and Blast Ash.
Lina’s light magic also extends to healing--although exhausting to the human body and sometimes detrimental if used in excess, Lina can recover small wounds to keep herself fighting if need be.
Doubtless, the most powerful spell in Lina’s arsenal is the Giga Slave, an enormous blast of dark magic calling upon all of the entropy of the universe. Lina has used this to destroy fragments of the demon of all demons, Shabranigdu. It is said that if a user of this spell isn’t entirely careful, the Giga Slave as the potential to destroy the universe and everyone in it, making it a last resort that takes a great toll on Lina to control.
Despite the incredible power she can expel, Lina is only a human in the category of durability. It’s hard to touch her when her magic is going hot, but she’ll fall to any well placed wound like any human. Also, Lina’s magic calls upon corresponding forces; for instance her Dark magic promptly gathers energy from the world’s dark beings; meaning she really can’t use a certain type of magic against someone well imbued with that type of magic. Lina describes it as asking someone “Hey, you, help me kill you.”
But this is a small hurdle for a magical genius. With her tools only as numerous as her brilliance in the art, there’s neither dungeon nor dragon that can hold Lina Inverse down.
Ladies and gentlemen take your seats for the show! If you’re lucky, one of our ever talented magicians will need a volunteer!
Location: Tokyo Shopping Mall
DJ Funky Freeman’s Music Choice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyRpVHtyVuQ
Usagi’s hand had blistered over the time she spent mashing the arcade machine buttons. “I’ve got the high score locked up!” Usagi exclaimed. “Motoki is gonna be SO impressed!” Despite the sweat on her palms, Usagi tightened her grip on the arcade controls. “Eight thousand...NINE THOUSAND POINTS….JUST A FEW MORE!” Usagi watched her points rise up with every monster the Sailor V video game character blasted to digitized bits on the screen. The number reached a hundred thousand, and Usagi could already imagine how shocked Motoki would be to see her initials at the top of the scoreboard. “FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND…...ALMOST THERE…” At 599,999 points...Usagi’s heart skipped a beat as the arcade machine burst into flames. ”WH-WHA?!” Usagi was so engaged with her game, she didn’t notice that the arcade around her was in blazes...and upon further inspection the entire mall the arcade sat inside. “Oh man…” Usagi reached into her purse for her Broche. “Moon Prism Power!”
Outside, Lina Inverse threw one last ball of fire that set the bath soap shop ablaze. “HAH!” Lina laughed. “That’ll show those bandits! Hard to steal stuff when you’re ash!” The young mage looked around at the shopping mall...which was in almost total disarray. “I...may have gotten a little carried away though…” she admitted aloud. “Shop owners probably won’t be happy...BUT I got those bandits for them. I’m sure one day they’ll look back at this and laugh!” Lina was about to step out of the complex, before she was alerted by the surprise a girl about her age leaping down from a higher floor of the shopping mall. “How DARE YOU! The Mall is a place for refuge and relaxation! Setting it ablaze is unforgivable! I am Sailor Moon!” The mysterious superheroine struck a lavish pose, pointing one finger toward Lina. “And in the name of the Moon, I’ll punish you!” Lina cracked her knuckles. “So, Little Miss High and Mighty’s gonna teach me a lesson, huh?” Lina gestured toward herself. “Come and get some, Bun Head!” FIGHT! Sailor Moon reached for her forehead, removing her tiara. “Moon Tiara...Action!” Sailor Moon threw the tiara, which surrounded itself with a golden light as it spun at Lina. Lina managed to duck before the weapon hit her head. Heh, easy! Lina rose back up. “FIRE…” Before she could begin the incantation, Sailor Moon’s tiara came back around, slamming the back of Lina’s head on its return trip. Sailor Moon enjoyed a hearty laugh at her opponent as she reclaimed her tiara, placing it back on her head. Lina rubbed the large, red bump Sailor Moon’s tiara left on her head as she got back up, seething with anger. “Alright...my turn!” Lina cupped her hands. “FIRE...BALL!” As the words of the spell echoed, an orb of flame circulated between Lina’s palms. Once it reached a size that eclipsed ever her own body. Lina let the attack fly at Sailor Moon, who, with a squeal of fear, leaped out of the way. While she was able to jump out of the way in time to avoid the line of fire, the force of the incredible combustion was enough to knock her off of her feet. Sailor Moon hit the hard floor with great force, bruising her knee. “Owwww!” Sailor Moon whimpered. “That...HURT!” Tears streamed from Sailor Moon’s eyes as she let out a deafening cry. Lina covered her ears, but was surprised when she felt the sheer force of the sound waves physically crash into her. Lina not only felt her ears split by the sound and frequency of the Sonic waves, but they were strong enough to send her crashing into the ground hard enough to break through the floor. Sailor Moon regained her own composure with a sniffle, rising back up to her feet. Lina did the same, dusting herself off. “Time to turn up the heat…” Lina reached into her belt of magic artifacts, unveiling the Demon Blood Talisman. “This’ll burn up that stupid meatball hair!” Sailor Moon lifted her moon stick in front of her, while Lina reenacted the hand motions of her trademark technique. “Darkness beyond twilight, Crimson beyond blood that flows, Buried in the stream of time...is where your power grows, I pledge myself to conquer all the foes who stand...before the mighty gift bestowed in my unworthy hand, Let the fools who stand before me be destroyed, by the power you and I possess...DRAGON SLAVE!” Enhanced by the Talisman in her grip, the Dragon Slave raged toward Sailor Moon out of Lina’s hands. Sweat poured down Sailor Moon’s face as the burst of fire neared her. “M-MOON--” Sailor Moon tried to call out her next attack, only to be immediately cut off by the overwhelming flames. The barrage of fire rolled out for what felt like hours. As the flames finally dissipated from her hand, Lina exhaled. “Well, that takes care of that!” Lina clapped her hands to wipe off the ashes, while the flames billowed around her. “I’m really GOOD at this!” ”Don’t get all proud just yet!” Lina felt a chill run up her spine. She saw Sailor Moon, clear of burns or injuries, stroll out of the curtain of flames. Followed by a glimmering light, Sailor Moon’s outfit had changed by the addition of ribbons all about her skirt, and golden, wing shaped beads in her hair. “You can’t stop me that easily!” The young heroine posed once more, her fingers extended. “I am the Pretty Guardian! Who fights for Love and for Justice! Super Sailor Moon!” “Transformation?” Lina gaped. “Talk about tacky…” Sailor Moon twirled her Moon Stick in a circular motion. The Silver Crystal in its center illuminated the entire battlefield. “Moon Princess Halation!” From the scepter, Sailor Moon let fly a bright, moonlight ray. Lina rubbed her eyes, burned by the light before the blast made contact. Knocked down to one knee, Lina breathed heavily as she shook off the attack, the magic energy badly burning her midsection. “That’ll teach you to make a warzone out of this quaint shopping mall!” Sailor Moon declared. Lina stood back up, stomping a single foot in anger. “YOU’RE FIGHTING HERE TOO!” Lina cupped both of her hands on top of each other. “And your glittery sparkles aren’t gonna measure up to my dark magic!” In Lina’s cupped hands, black lightning began to spark. ”Fragment of the Lord of Nightmares, Release thy heavenly retribution, Blade of cold, black nothingness, Become my power, become my body, Together, let us walk the path of destruction, And smash even the souls of the Gods, RAGNA BLADE!!” Between Lina’s hands, she now gripped a sword made of chaotic, sparking, dark energy. “That’s something else…” Sailor Moon arched her legs, as Lina came rushing in, swinging her massive blade of magic. Sailor Moon jumped backwards out of the way of the swing of Lina’s Ragna Blade, which destroyed the very floor panels it hovered above. The second swing connected with Sailor Moon’s midsection, sending her skidding backwards, clutching her stomach in pain as her feet left marks as she slid backwards. “And now...the finishing touch!” Lina wound back the Ragna Blade, swinging it across where Sailor Moon stood for what she intended to be the final blow, only to realize she was gone. Lina looked around, quickly noticing Sailor Moon rematerializing out of the corner of her eye, a few feet away in the air. “THAT was Sailor Moon Teleport!” The Sailor Guardian extended one of her legs in Lina’s direction. “And THIS is SAILOR MOON KICK!” Sailor Moon’s red boot made contact with Lina’s face. The powerful dive kick sent the mage rolling over the shopping mall floor and out the window behind her. She crashed through the glass, rolling over onto the sidewalk by the shopping complex among several small shards. Sailor Moon jumped out after her. “You’re gonna pay for your crimes!” She smiled, her Moon Stick still in hand. Lina, struggling back up to her feet, extended both of her arms. “You’re not leaving me much of a choice!” Sailor Moon’s eyes widened as a hot, white energy gathered between Lina’s hands. This one resembled her Dragon Slave, but was far brighter, and seemed to practically pull all surrounding energy into it. As more power rushed to the center of Lina’s hands, her cape billowed as small bits of the earth broke out and scattered around her. "Darkness beyond blackest pitch, Deeper than the deepest night, Lord as vast as the largest ocean, Colder than the coldest ice, King of Darkness who shines like gold upon the Sea of Chaos, I call upon thee and swear myself to thee. I stand ready to bear the strength you give me. Let the fools who stand before me be destroyed By the power you and I possess!” Sailor Moon, in response twirled her Moon Stick around herself. “Calling upon such sinister power is unforgivable!” Sailor Moon, coating herself in the magic her tools expelled, bathed in the glow that altered her outfit once more. Two broad, angelic wings expanded from her back, as her skirt and gown turned white with etherious light. “You’re tough, but as Eternal Sailor Moon, I’ll punish you, once and for all!” As Sailor Moon finished her transformation, Lina finished her incantation. “GIGA SLAVE!” The blinding light extended from Lina’s hands, powered directly by the Lord of Nightmares himself, destroying the floor below as the blast stretched forward toward Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon, for the first time in the entire battle, remained calm in the face of Lina’s attack. “I’m not afraid anymore…” Sailor Moon watched as the Moon Stick extended into the improved Eternal Tiare weapon. In her opposite hand, a bright light summoned forth the Holy Moon Chalice. “These weapons together, I’ll end this battle.” Equipping the two tools together, Sailor Moon began to elegantly dance in place, her wings scattering feathers in every direction. Twirling the long Tiare in her hand as she jumped and kicked, Sailor Moon ended the pattern by pointing the staff at Lina. “Silver Moon...Crystal Power Kiss!” Before the Giga Slave could make contact with Sailor Moon, the Tiare flared a golden light that shot out, colliding with the Giga Slave. Lina felt Sailor Moon’s attack push against her own, the force nearly knocking her off of her feet. “If you think I’m giving in, you’ve got another thing coming!” Lina screamed as she forced every bit of power she had into her attack, expanding the width of her blast, as it continued to ram against the Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss. Sailor Moon, her Tiare aloft, carried on all of the effort she could, fueling the struggle with a tight grip on her weapon. ”I’ve never faced a dark power quite like this… Sailor Moon felt her arms shake against the Giga Slave’s tremendous force. ”I’m...not sure I can make it...I’ll let everyone down.” The faces of all of her friends flashed through Sailor Moon’s head. Memories of Ami, Rei, Mako, and Minako made her chest well, she felt herself invigorated. Sailor Moon pushed on her attack, the golden light of her magic pushing back against Lina’s. I...may lose this battle… Sweat fell down Lina’s face. “Lose this battle? And let my sister rub it in later?! NO...WAY!” Both titanesses of magic forced every inch of their power into the blasts that extended from their beings. Like two immovable locomotives, the Giga Slave and the Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss pushed into one another, sending bits of debris and earth outward from where they both raged on. Sailor Moon’s heart pounded in her chest. She felt the warmth of her own friends surround her arms, as if, although unable to be seen, the power of the faith her friends had in her were holding up her weapon against the immense, cataclysmic onslaught. Their voices echoed in Sailor Moon’s head. Mercury Power! Mars Power! Jupiter Power! Venus Power! Sailor Moon let out a triumphant yell. “IN THE NAME OF THE MOON...I’LL PUNISH YOU!” This last push was all Sailor Moon needed to force the Power of her attack forward, breaking through the barrier of the Giga Slave. Lina felt the weight of both attacks relieved, shortly before the beams of light rushed at her. The mage was swallowed by the great light as the Sailor Guardian’s attack lifted her into the air and down into what remained of the shopping mall. KO Sailor Moon fell to her knees, every ounce of her power drained. Her wings and regal gown fell apart as she reverted back to her school blouse. She took a look ahead to see Lina, knocked unconscious and lying in a pile of rubble, her hair grayed, a dizzied look in her eyes. “Heh..wait ‘til Chibi-Usa hears about this one.”
((Victory circle music: www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1xAPQgGZ0U )) An extremely close call--Lina was packing far more destructive force and was the more experienced fighter, but Sailor Moon’s magic had more variety and, surprisingly, she was made of tougher stuff than her opponent. This meant that the battle could go either way from a physical standpoint, but the crux lied in the reliability of their magic. Lina has some incredibly powerful incantations, more than capable of leveling most foes, but her magic can be unpredictable. Take the few times she has used the Giga Slave. When she first used it on Shabranigdo, she needed the aid of several outside sources, including Gowry’s sword to use as a conduit, and the help of Rezo, who was possessing Shrabranigdo at the time, to keep the monster in place. After the ordeal was fulfilled, Lina’s hair was turned grey, it took so much out of her. Another occasion, when she used the spell on Fibrizo, was successful, but largely because of an ill conceived plan Fibrizo concocted that allowed her to land the attack. Sailor Moon has a more consistent history safely landing her strongest spells. The Giga Slave is capable of destroying the world, but so was Sailor Moon’s nemesis, Queen Beryl, who was once augmented by Queen Metalia, and casting a spell to destroy the earth before Sailor Moon stopped her. Sailor Moon was strong enough to push against the powered up Beryl’s assault to a point where she could destroy her, leaving little doubt she could do the same against a similar attack like the Giga Slave. And while, similarly to Lina, Sailor Moon is at her strongest with help, sharing immense power with the friendship of her fellow Sailor Guardians, Sailor Moon defeated Queen Beryl after all of the other Guardians had DIED, and she was still able to call upon power using the memories of their friendship, showing that her allies don’t even need to be near her for Sailor Moon to fight with their power. Really, fighting Sailor Moon alone is like fighting someone with the force of all of the guardians at once, this way. Lina may have been more intelligent than her foe, but Sailor Moon’s magic power made it all too difficult for Lina to land a decisive attack, and even if she did, Sailor Moon’s superior durability gave her a better chance to strike considering just how drained Lina wound up after using her magic. The winner...is Sailor Moon
