if there’s one thing that jack didn’t appreciate about the creation of humans, it’s their creation of social media, and what it has become. a bit too toxic for his taste, and he certainly didn’t care to present himself to the world. at least, that’s what he told himself – in reality, he was too pretentious for social media and maybe thought he was above it. he was a bit of an ass about it, but he’ll think he’s right, no matter what you tell him. so when a loud guy came into the store during one of his shifts, holding up a camera to his face and…. talking to it? jack was annoyed at first, but tried to ignore it. he went all around the store, though, and the loudness of it all got on jack’s nerves more and more…. until finally, he couldn’t really deal with it anymore. he walks up to him, unaware that he was in the middle of a live instead of filming a normal video. “do you mind? at this point i’m pretty certain i’ll be hearing your loud voice ringing in my ears during one of my nightmares tonight. what’re you filming, anyway?” he was told on multiple occasions to stop being rude to the customers. however, he simply couldn’t keep his mouth shut sometimes. @fiiore·
this idea was actually inspired by this trend he had seen zillenial influencers doing , going into libraries and doing dumb shit . he had the intention of going to a library as well , but instead , hit up some random record store . to be fair , he was being pretty extra , walking around the whole place , talking to his forty six thousand and counting viewers on his camera not so quietly , and skimming through records with his black colored nails . he’s so into his own thing , he’s not fully aware of his surroundings . “ this place is so eighty’s . it’s just full aesthetic vibes here , but honestly , who has time for these things ? they’re so big ! ” he had been around a ton of vinyls before and actually listened to music from them , but he had to pretend for the video . he’s about to say something else , when a rougher voice interrupts him . fiore had his back turned to him , but this time , he turns around , camera now facing the other male . it’s actually kind of funny to him , how as soon as he’s is in view , the comments of people watching the livestream instantly become about his appearance . wow , he’s so hot 😍 , or who is that ? 🤤 or just general thirst comments slowly but surely begin to pop up on his screen for a split second , more coming through quickly . “ my voice will be ringing in your ears , yeah , but i’m pretty sure it’ll be anything but a nightmare , ” it was kind of wild how he could so easily take what someone says and use it to his favor , before the blink of an eye , really . the views begin to increase , and comments like ‘ OMG FIORE ’ or even ‘ i’m howling wtf 😂 ’ were coming up , but he wasn’t really reading any of them now . instead , fiore turns to him , giving him a soft smile , which didn’t match his personality at all , “ here , hold this .... ” his aqua colored eyes glance towards his name tag for a split second , “ jack . just one moment , ” he doesn’t even really ask him , his soft hands just placing one vinyl on one of his larger ones , grabbing another and placing it on his other hand , one vinyl from the black keys on his left hand , and the other from vance joy on his right , his phone still pointed at him . “ okay , so i like both bands , but i’m not too sure , ” he pauses for a moment , “ what do you think , jack ? ” oh my god , he really is the worst .
