Labrys felt her system lazily whirring to life, her functions activating in a perfect but slow-going order, as if a practiced hand set to flipping switches as they had a million times before but was doing so at a snail's pace. Though incredibly sentient and downright human for a maiden whose body was made of metal, Labrys was still mechanical, and the fact that a thick haze clouded her memory protocol seemed troubling. Why had she been shut down...? It seemed like only a few minutes ago, she was standing on the Junes balcony with Yu-kun. ... So why was everything so fuzzy?
What on earth was going on...? Voices hummed dully in the background as she was shuffled from one white room to another. Were they explaining something...? She could hardly tell. Someone gripped her shoulders, pressing cloth against the cool steel-- cloth? That's right, she was still wearing the Inaba uniform. She had just faced a great ordeal. She should be in Mitsuru's care. So... why did she not recognize any of these voices?
It should not take so long to boot. What had happened to her? Someone was explaining something. ... A circumstance? Something about a grand social experiment, how she'd been selected to participate... how she'd be living here from now on? Where was 'here', exactly? What social experiment were they talking about? ... An apartment? No, that's not right... she lived somewhere else. ... Wooden axe? Why wood? What had happened to her real weapon?
More bright lights, more endless chatter, Yes, she'd be able to keep her persona, but only use it... wait, there was a limit? Why was there a limit? This didn't feel like the TV world. It didn't really feel like the same artificial dark hour, either. No... no, this was definitely some place different. She could tell that much. As her functions came online, one by one, Labrys began to understand that she was not back at home. No, she'd been transported somewhere, like before... But this time, it was different. She remembered herself, her past, her new friends. So... why was she here? A sudden light encompassed the lenses in her eyes as she regained full operations, just in time to hear a "good luck" utterance and a giant, metal door swing shut behind her.

Now, Labrys stared blinking at a dingy, urban street, utterly lost as to what she was supposed to do from here. One second passed-- two, three... Then her voice came to her, irritable and shrill.
"Jus' what on earth is goin' on, here?!"
