She panted as she stood among those she had cut down, she couldn’t rest yet. Not here. Not when she had been in the fray where the constant physical stress was beginning to make her sloppy. Sloppy meant death.

She let her chainsaw idle to a stop while she assessed her next action.

Obviously, she needed to get off the street but once she approached the sidewalk, a rather interesting hue caught her eye. She had seen that sweet shade of violet before. Had spilled it before.

Just because she had exacted her revenge on the seadweller before didn’t meant she cared to see her what had been on of her closest friends get hurt. With a sinking feeling in her stomach, she followed the trail, ever ready in case someone else had thought to do the same. It wasn’t a long trip until she turned the corner and saw him crumbled down on the floor of some dilapidated building. Wand pointed at her again.

“Eridan.” There was a calm authority to her voice laced with the barely held relief of seeing him alive. And relief at seeing him lower his wand. Likewise, she also withdrew her weapon, the chainsaw easily lending itself as her much beloved lipstick tube.

Her eyes immediately went to the other’s chest and, confident that he wouldn’t harm her, she kneeled by him and urged his hands away so she could inspect the damage.

“How Much Time Has Lapsed Since You Were Injured?” With all his blood in the way it was hard to look at the wounds and her now shaking hands were not the best at cleaning them. She would have to search the building for a medical kit. “There Is A Strong Possibility I May Need To Leave Your Side, With Bodily Harm Such As This I Will Require Additional Items.”

As gentle as she could, she untied the cape that had been secured around her midsection for so long and instead she tied it around his chest. Not ideal, but it would keep pressure where it was needed.

     Damn it, was that his old cape? He was almost insulted she still had it on her, but said feelings thinned out rather quickly as she went about the deed.

     After all, this was the exact opposite of what he had done to her. He had shot a large hole through her without even caring, at the time. And here she was, patching his own wounds up when he just left and ran off elsewhere.

     Like the murderous douche he was.

“Ummm” The filler word slipped out- she really ought to be more used to trolls popping up without much warning, not after she’d met a goodly number of them. He was youngish, probably Equius’s age if she had to guess. Rosie’d never seen a troll with dyed hair- oh, wait, no, that wasn’t true, Rufioh also had dyed hair.

“I suppose you must have know my alternate self. And no, I did not.” She held up her sharp silver knitting needles. “They were never magical to begin with. In my timeline, I must have been quite crippled compared to your Rose.”

     Shit, shit, shit-- this sucked. This really sucked.

     Hiding within the rubble of some building with a hole blown in to it, the violet blood sat against the wall, cradling a few bullet wounds on his chest with one hand and the other clutching his Empiricist’s Wand.

     It had only been a matter of time before someone had gotten to him. And by now, he had been in combat for a good while now.

     It was his fault. He didn’t take things too seriously, after how easy most of the enemies were falling. As such, he let his guard down. And it was undoubtedly his fault, he realized. ... Still, the one time he decides to relax a bit is the time he almost gets turned in to swiss cheese. Really great job, there.

     He was leaking pretty badly, and his attempt at stopping the wound didn’t particularly do much-- especially when that wasn’t the only wound he had.

     Nevertheless, he remained alert now.

     Which is why, as he heard someone drawing near, Eridan raised his wand-- ready to target anyone hostile. ... And as said person revealed themselves, he almost fired, too. But, he hesitated. Because this was a face he recognized.
