Listen, I’ve had the absolute worst month at uni. I’ve been writing essays most of the time, with small interludes of baby sheep, pretty museums and concerts. I forgot I even had a tumblr account, if I’m being honest. I WISH I’d had unproductive days.

the idea that the Greek class is terrible at Greek is hilarious to me. Henry is a polyglot, for one, and was accepted without taking the SATs bc of his translations. They all (minus Richard) speak in it frequently.

RICHARD is the one who can’t understand them. RICHARD is the one who can’t speak it like they can. RICHARD is the one who cannot speak Latin. RICHARD is the one who has not been majoring in it for literal years atp. But more importantly, Richard is the one telling the story.

Richard is the one who is making the mistakes. Richard is the one who isn’t good at it. This also def highlights the fact that Richard is an outsider to the rest of the Greek class; they are, quite literally, not speaking the same damn language.

You people REALLY think Henry “I love Homer” Winter isn’t good at fucking Greek?

Organised my schedule up to January, went for a nice walk, set up my new (old) computer and completely drafted my essay! Tomorrow I just have to put into words!
