“Ob Musik gewordene Meditation oder moderne Ragas für rastlose Städter...Dirk Schilling setzt seine vor über 10 Jahren begonnene Reise als „Filmpalast“ fort. Elektrische Gitarren Filmmusik, Instant Composing, Improvisationen aus dem Moment, wie immer man es nennt, es ist ein sanftes Vordringen in tiefere Schichten seiner selbst, aber vor allem auch in Korrespondenz mit dem Publikum, dem zu bespielenden Raum, der Kunst die ihn umgibt oder der umgebenden Landschaft. Die Bereitschaft sich dem Moment vollkommen hinzugeben, aber auch die Ungewissheit als permanente Möglichkeit des Lebens anzunehmen, sie sind Teil dieses Abends. So entspricht kein Konzert dem anderen, es ist immer das was es ist und die Umarmung dieses Zustandes. Roh, zart, manchmal an den Außenposten der Auflösung von üblicher Tonalität aber auch in voller Hingabe den harmonischen Momenten.” Zur Einstimmung hier ein paar „Live“ Mitschnitte von Proben…bis es dann irgendwann dieses Jahr Konzerte geben wird!

"Filmpalast" started out as a music project initiated by Multi Instrumentalist/Producer Dirk Schilling. Throughout 12 years he constantly recorded, toured and collaborated with countless musicians, video artists and film makers.
He not only created a solo project, but an open platform for artists beyond art forms and genres. His fourth full length album "Happy Breakup Everybody!" is now available at your favourite download store!
