I know I have been lax on doing write-ups for the films I have been viewing. Life gets in the way of the best-laid plans.
This film promised a pop culture ridden, video game reference filled action film and delivered on all accounts. They are all over the place. It’s a perfect film for the nostalgia generation. I’m a huge fan of all the art referenced in this film. It’s a film for classic nerds that also caters to the section of the population that has never seen an Atari in action.
The film itself is decent and predictable. It achieves its goal of being a visual special. I found myself knowing exactly what was going to happen but I didn't care because it looked so cool.
Recomended for the nerd in all of us.
