Tomorrow’s the day!!!! ‘Shinka’ - one of my most enduring images (with model/muse @mghnlll) - has finally been made into a screenprint 🙀😬. All variants are 22 colour screen print (yes 22!!!!) on 55 x 75cm x 300 gsm Somerset paper with an extra special version on 88 x 64cm x 1mm corroded brass. It’s a stonker of a print and I couldn’t be happier with the results. It will be released with @graffitiprints (graffitiprints.com) at 3pm CET. So yeah... this just happened. I'm sure it's my biggest wall to date but others say no, but def my first time focussing on Eastern European traditional clothing, utilising a beautifully bruised and battered building facade to dictate the style of painting and receiving lots of love (and treats) from locals both young and old. #bratislavastreetartfestival was super tiring but an absolute blast. Well hopefully this was worth the wait... 'Lady Kinoko' on #portobelloroad #nottinghill with model/muse @christinanadin (told u it didn't look like u 😩). Not just a painting but another exercise in trying to find ways to make a mural stand out from the surface. Look closely and you'll see some elements that u might think are 3D but in actual fact are flat. Plus there's the lanterns fixed to the crown but hanging in mid air. All in all a lot of fun. Yes that's my work on a stamp!!!! While in Berlin I found out that a special #streetart collection of stamps from @auspostcollectables had been released. We'd been in talks since last year about including 'Shinka' which was painted as part of the #littlerundlestreetartproject in Jan 2016. It's one of my favourites of model/muse @mghnlll and I'm the only non-Aussie/non-resident so it's particularly pleasing to be included. #Repost @costa_fernweh So... this mural was one that escaped in terms of getting a final photo because the promised drone never arrived. Now some 2 years later, and a couple of days before I head to Berlin again, someone has finally taken a drone shot of it. Shame that it's deteriorated so much but it rained hard overnight on the 2nd last day so it's no surprise. Moral of story: always sort everything u need yourself ☹️☹️.
